Hello everyone.
Joe, the modern-day Electric Guitar has evolved over the years, and has roots in instruments like the Classical (Spanish) guitar and of course, the steel stringed acoustics.
Do you imagine that the Electric Guitar could "evolve" more as years go by? Is it possible that more radical designs like increasing the number of frets on the guitar could occur?
I find the history of the development of the guitar fascinating.
Cheers!
Daniel

G'day everyone. I'm after a rare recording by Joe, it came on a CD attached to a Guitar magazine, not sure which one, but it featured Mr. Satriani improvising a solo over a backing track, and I believe the track was eventually named something like "Heart of the Sun", or something similar. If ANYONE HAS A COPY OF THIS TRACK, PLEASE E-MAIL ME! I can be reached at: mailto:daniel_l_v@yahoo.com.au
Thanks.

Hello Joe.
I have not heard the album yet, only the samples, but from what I hear I think the album is another great bout of creativity, congratulations and thanks for such great listening experiences.
The upbeat sounds I hear in the samples are a welcome emotional booster in what is sometimes a world with chronic conflict and difficulties.
Cheers

Hello All,
Just bought and had my first listen to Super Colossal, sounds good.
By the way, it is curious that there is no description for one track on the album "One Robots' Dream"... strange.
And by the way, in "Redshift Riders" Joe talks about a "cosmological redshift". I'm fairly well versed in physics and science, but have never even heard of this concept.
And redshift simply refers to the doppler effect that acts on waves, such as light, when a body moves away, it is red shifted, and blue shifted if approaching. But i'm not sure what bearing that would have on travelling across the Universe quickly!
Perhaps Joe meant "Gravitational Slingshot" effect?
(Like NASA probes use quite regularly to reach destinations that Rocket power alone can't reach)
Just a thought!
Cheers

Joe,
Please ---
There are too many repeated songs on your live DVD, please be mindful of this on future releases.
Your fans know you have a healthy-sized catalogue, plenty of gems!
This opinion I voice with all respect and admiration for your works.
