About Rock In Rio Lisbon (Portugal) last June 4:

CIVIC - The band of a friend of mine was great. I was very proud of my friend Chikko :-). Before of Metallica concert i saw and gave him a great regard and i told him: Man, i wanna a demo for me, ok?!?!? :-). 4 STARS

MOONSPELL - Intense and symbolic. One of the best Portuguese bands playing and catching all audience :-). 4 STARS.

SEPULTURA - They are animals of stage. Sometimes i like hear something more heavy. Songs like Refuse/Resist and Arise are great :-)). A great suprise and i expected for that for a long time, very nice :-) !!! 4 STARS

SLIPKNOT - That`s not my type of band. They are good but i don`t like very much. Too Heavy, lots of screams. 3 STARS and half.

INCUBUS - Theyb are good but not in a place like that. Time to eat and rest :-). 3 STARS and half

METALLICA - Probably 160 000 hands in the air!!! OMG, what a concert!!! Today i did read in a newspapper, the best day, tha best concert of all!!!! Only two songs of ST. Anger. The rest, lots of hits :-). James Hetfield was very happy. I feel a great respect for that man. Kirk is playing well yet. Lots of energy :-). Robert Trujillo is like a Monkey, very funny. He has a problem on his right knee, nothing special i think. And Lars kick ass. No mistakes, very well :-)). My friends, if you can see that, go ahead!!!!!!!! THEY ARE THE BEST :-) !!!! 5 STARS!!!!!!!!

DCK - Guns & Roses didn`t play @ Rock In Rio because the guitar player leaves the band a few months ago. Axl Rose told that the band was not on right conditions to play, nothing new. They are with lots of problems, begining on Axl`s mind. In times, G&R was a great band, now they are ghosts of themselfs :-/.

Good Morning Satchland, i`m in Portugal again. The trip was good :-) !!!! About G3 in MADRID, AWESOME!!!!!!! I got cool photos of Joe and Steve. About Joe`s photos i will send the photos soon to Mr. Luini :-).

G3 REVIEW:

ROBERT FRIPP: What can i say? Really different and i feel very respect by Mr. Fripp. The show was very relaxed. I heard a few stuff of Mr. Fripp in the past and he is very good indeed, Mr Fripp @ La Riviera was humble and nice, but a few persons didn`t like it. Probably because the Mr. Fripp`s show doesn`t have movement and he did solos only on the jam. No photos.

STEVE VAI: What a musician!!!!!!!!! Very cool concert and the song WHISPERING A PRAYER was dedicated to Pia because it was his Birthday :-)). All audience sung the Birthday song to her :-)) !!! There`s not much to say about Steve, he is always amazing, catching and cool!!!! I taked photos on the two first songs. I was smiling all the time :-) lol. You know why :-).

JOE :-) - Mr. Fripp did the intro and Joe starts the concert with HANDS IN THE HAIR, all the audience were jumping and i was taking the photos of my life :-)). Second song: Satch Boogie. Joe played too Searching, FIABD, Cool#9, ITLIS?, WAR, AWMAWY, and a few others ;-). You will see!!!! Joe is playing so well and i was very excited all the time. What a beautiful concert :-) !!!! JOE IS MARVELOUS!!!!!!!!!

JAM - Ice 9, a King Crimson song, Keep on Rocking in a Free World. Joe and Steve were playing very close. Mr Fripp did great solos and sometimes remember me Mr. Eric Jhonson. Very cool and a great moment. G3 rocks!!!!!!!!

I`m tired yet. I was jamping and singing all the time :-).

After Show meet: I saw Joe, Steve, Weiner and Mr Galen Hanson. I swap a few words with Joe and i told to him that the T2J community rocks!!! He told the same :-). I gave to him two gifts for his Birthday: 2 cds, one of Mr. Carlos Paredes and other of Gonçalo Pereira. I got a photo with Joe. What a great moment to me :-). Dave Weiner is very kind. I bought two cds of Dave. One for me and other for my webmaster. Great songs, progressive rock :-) !!!! Steve was tired and i gave to him a shake hand :-) and i offered him a cd too of Gonçalo.

DO THE STU - :-). The Dragon festival was cancelled for 2 reasons: in first place David Bowie cancelled his participation (wealth problems) and the people just stop buy the tickets. The Festival had 3 days and lots of Bands: Bowie, The darkness, Iggy Pop, Scorpions, Chiep Trick, Deep Purple and many others. No David Bowie, no public, no sell tickets. The festival was in Dragon Stadium in Oporto ( North of Portugal). After that the Organization tried to do the same but in Lisbon @ Atlantic pavillion, 30 Euros the 3 days, cheap and cool. In the end, the organization hadn`t lights and sound for the festival, can you believe it? And no Deep Purple :-((. Sorry if my English is not the best, hope you can understand my words :-)).
