Hello Everybody, two great concerts last weekend here in Portugal (Lisbon and Porto) of DREAM THEATER !! ALMOST 3 hours of show, the concert in Porto (North of Portugal) was the best, the sound and people were fantastic. Both concerts were diferents, except that they played all 6DOIT (second CD) in both. In Porto Mike Portnoy and John Petrucci had given a few autographs at ROCKMUSIC STORE, Johm is great, nice person; Portnoy is a crazy cool guy :) ! People prepare to great concerts in USA, you have luck, DT and Joe togheter on stage, enjoy, all the best Alex from a small but sweet country (except my soccer team, good luck for you guys in worl cup) Bye take care.

Hello everybody!! I wish you good luck to everyone in exams!! Good work and keep the faith!! Joe tomorrow i will buy the new release, something strange but beautiful :)) !! Good European Tour Joe, yes CRASHING DAY!! WEBMASTER (dear Jon) thanks for answer to my e-mail, but i can`t go to Paris to see Joe, I`m finishing the University and i have my last exams in the begining of JULY, it`s a shame, i`m upset but it`s the true. In 2000 i was in Madrid to see Joe, now because Joe doesn`t come to Portugal or Spain, i was thinking to go to Paris, i have friends that living there, but i can`t go. All the best. PEOPLE believe in LOVE, I lost my girlfriend, and i love her so much, life sometimes it`s very hard. Thanks Joe for your music, i will never forget what you have donne for a better world, you can touch in many hearts. You don`t know who i`m but you for me are like a friend, a really good friend, your music is the soundtrack in many moments of my life, thank you again. WARM REGARDS ALEX

I`m in studio one day for week recording my demo and i do many things that you do, it`s strange but in many cases i think like you :), and my music is not so bad :)). HELLO AGAIN!! Thank you very much CLARKY, MR. NICK ( I have 26 years of age), and JSJERCH1 (good math study man).
If i`m not here a lot of time it is because I´m working. I would to share with you guys what i`m doing: me and my father we belong a music distribution company. I work in this company since 1997, and we sell many cds here in Portugal. I must to say that the music in Portugal is not the best, it live under a pop tendency. I`m a guitar player too since 1992 and i`ve been last year in a friend studio recording my demo. It is my way to give to my friends a new kind of music. But here in Portugal we have good guitar players. NUNO BETTENCOURT ( Ex-Extreme), GONÇALO PEREIRA (Ex- Paulo Gonzo and new site coming soon) and JOEL XAVIER , they are mine preferred.

MR. NICK- Right words about how we must feel the music. I love improvisation. I compose many musics using these way.

PPL - I got yesterday a pretty cool record: DAVID LEE ROTH`SKYSCRAPER with STEVE VAI, very interesting, what you think about that?. I got also a JAZZ cd: STAN GETZ with Dizzy Gillespie and Sonny Stitt, it is very different but i recommend it.

MATT KING - Music industry is very tricky :/. Last year i was in studio recording my demo, i pay everything of my pocket (lots of many to 4 songs). It`s a tremendous sucess here,where i live (near of Lisbon). I gave an interview in local radio. I showed my demo to a company record. And they tell me that my demos was good and i could have a contract. Now after a few months, they say to me: "Oh, you know, guitar players don`t sell many cds...." :(, all bullshit. But i can tell you this: i will still working in my songs, and i will pay of my pocket the studio sessions because i have professional and talented helps. Many people say that my music it is similar to the Joe`s music. Then i think " GREAT, WHAT A PRAISE!!"
Don`t worry man, keep working and doing what you like to do, I do the same :)). Sorry if my English is not the best ;). REGARDS.

962- Images & Words, Awake and Scenes from a memory are great records, but if you would like to hear that on a live performance try listening Scenes from NY, WONDERFUL CD!!
JOE- good luck for everything, new heavy songs?!?!? I like that, now i`m listening a fantastic band: SOILWORK, strong riffs with very interesting solos, i recomend :). Warm regards!!
