Thank you JOE for coming to Stockholm!!!

Wow... I can't believe it's true!!!! G3 is coming to Scandinavia and even has TWO shows in Sweden! I'm just blown away... When I read it at vai.com I actually screamed out loud and jumped off the chair, doing a little victory dance in my living room... LOL! My neighbours must've wondered what was going on. THANK YOU G3!

And I've ordered the G3 DVD, although I don't have that much hope of actually getting it next week... that online shop is often waaay too optimistic about delivery time... :-( I ordered Robben Ford three weeks ago and still no sign of it (supposed to take 5 working days). Oh well, it will show up eventually.

JOY AND HAPPINESS FOR G3 2004!

tetovo G3 is performing at Göta Lejon in Stockholm and at Lisebergshallen in Göteborg... at least that's what it says at vai.com. However, when I called the venue in Stockholm, they hadn't heard of it. You might think that if they put up the names of the venues on the website it should be confirmed?!?! But I'll keep checking..... if I miss this show because of one stupid clerk heads will roll!

marimari Kuul that you're coming to Sweden for G3! I'm sure we could hook up in Stockholm and grab a beer or something. Regarding tickets, no probs, but as the tickets haven't gone on sale yet as far as I know, I'll have to keep my eyes open for you. There is always a way to work out the money, don't worry about it. :)

juju Glad to hear you had a blast! I could use some sun and relaxing myself right now, lol. BTW, I'm hoping to put up some pics from Iceland during the week. Did you say you had been there before, or is this summer trip the first time?

Well, I bought the G3 DVD... believe it or not, but it's my first DVD ever! That's because I don't own a DVD-player... LMAO! How stupid is that, anyway? I have to watch it at a friend's house, and I haven't had the time yet. :-( *crossing my fingers for getting one for my birthday in a month*

marimari You got mail... and what is it that you like about my name? Is it my nickname or my real name? :)

It's been a great weekend! I've played some really good pool (even won a local tournament) and I met a really nice guy, which hopefully will not turn out to be a complete waste of time once I get to know him a little better. ;-) One step at a time...

The new design is way cool, haven't been able to look around yet but I'm sure Austin will find all the dead links... lol. I think ZZ's drawings in the T2J-background look great, and the font color works for me. (Now with a NEW color! Sparkling white to add that little extra something to your web page! Order it TODAY for only $19.95!)

Everyone have a good day, I'm off to work...

Weird... I haven't had any problems before with the new site, but all of a sudden it wanted me to log in (although I never log out) and then showed the last five days of posts... even though I only left the site maybe ten minutes ago... but the mark as last read seems to be working, always something.

Anyhoo, I went to Sony's site and listened to the clips. My overall impression is that the sound environment is almost the same as SBM... does anyone agree on that? I mean the use of wah and distortion sounds the same, although some songs seems to have a 'lighter' sound than SBM. Don't know the technical terms so I don't know if my point gets through, lol. I just felt like most of the songs could've fit on SBM as well. But I like the little strange sounds on Gnaah and ITLIS, looks promising. Hands In The Air and Searching was the ones I fell for immediately, and I Like The Rain of course, lol! I bet they had fun recording that one... Bamboo sounds very intriguing, can't wait to hear the full version. It's hard to get the full picture from a 30 sec clip, the song itself can be very different from those seconds... Hopefully they choose the clips with the ambition of reflecting the overall song.

Well, off to bed now, pool tournament tomorrow... Sleep well everybody!

marimari I've been WAY busy this weekend unfortunately, not even time to write e-mails! Just popped my head in here to let you know I haven't forgotten about you! Tickets for Stockholm have gone on sale and are between $53 and $62, plus service charge $3. I'm still trying to find out the best way to get your tickets, I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

JS_JS Steve is married to Pia (from Sweden, of course), and they go way back. They have two sons, Julian and Fire. They usually come on tour with Steve, I think. I can't understand why Steve plays so rarely in Sweden, he should be here at least every two years to visit Pia's family... or maybe that's why he doesn't come here so often? lol!

michelle Goin' 40, huh? I'm turning 30 myself on April 10 - party!!! They don't call me Easter Eve for nothing, lol...

trutina Really good to see you back to your "normal" self, lol. As for shopping, I hate to go shopping with friends. It makes me stressed out. When I go shopping I have more or less decided what I want to buy and then I go buy that. Guess I'm not an ordinary female shopper lol. Now, if we're talking books... I can wander round for hours and hours in a really great bookstore. When I grow up I'm gonna have my own combined bookstore, pub and pool hall. Maybe I'll throw in a sex shop too, if business is bad. That way my male customers can go stalking the bookstore for suitable prey, ask them out for a drink, play some pool and then it's up to them to end the night as they want. Maybe I can get a deal with a hotel nearby... oh well, mind rambling on, sorry. Time for work!

Whoa... whole lotta postin' goin' on in here... So many newcomers! Good to see the Joevangelia spread around the world! (evangelium is the Swedish equivalent of gospels)

trutina Keep us posted about your 'ordinary life', you make us feel a little better about ourselves by realising that there are little wonders in every ordinary moment if you just know where to look. And humour doesn't hurt either! :)

michelle Glad to hear that the DT show smoked! I'll have to go see them next time around, didn't have the money when they were here in January.

Sharif You don't suck. Racists do.

marimari I will pick up your tickets tomorrow! YAY! We will rock Stockholm in June!

Six days left until I pass the borders of the magic Thirtyland... party party.....

artanis According to my dictionary you can pronounce it both ways. Byzentine is therefore [bi'zaentain] or [bai'z-] and also [-tain] or [ti:n] (teen). Byzentium is pronounced [bi'zaentiam] or [bai'zentiam], and you can also pronounce the ending using the sh-sound from ie 'shower' : [bi'zaensham].

God I wish I could remember how to find that symbol alphabet on my keyboard... then I could use proper phonetic symbols. Hopefully it will get across anyway.

zinc master Very funny, he he... let's see if any of my friends dares to bring one of those cards on my birthday this weekend...lol

Two months ago I ordered Robben Ford's cd Talk to Your Daughter from my online music shop. It's been delayed several times, and yesterday I finally got a message that the cd is - sold out! What kind of cr*p is that?! Then why do they state delivery time will be 4-6 working days, I think they should know if an item is very hard to find or not, right?! F'in f'ers... As a compensation, I won't have to pay the freight on the next purchase. As if it will be one... but on the other hand, they have Joe's new album on sale pretty cheap (release date April 14th over here) so that's probably what I'll buy next. Hopefully I'll receive it before Christmas, too. *rolling my eyes*

LOL Austin! A ton of bricks? Hmm... might be worth investigating. Or at least I could persuade all my friends to buy their copies of ITLIS at the same and not having to pay the shipping.

Michelle, F' the F'in F'ers! LOL! Yeah, I was very annoyed, so much that I had to go out and kick the mailman. He looked very surprised, but I felt much better afterwards lol. And thanks for the birthday wish, although it's not until Saturday. Easter Eve, ya' know. *wink* Oh, and did you hear that Granola is dating Charlton Heston these days? Nothing like a vintage male, I tell ya'. LOL!

Clarky, good to see you back again. Trutina, where you at?? Edit: Oh there you are, good. :)

Woohoo, I had a WONDERFUL 30th birthday yesterday, with almost all of my friends and family over to celebrate. I'd made my famous Spaghetti Bolognese and some ice cream for dessert. And I can't believe my great birthday presents - my friends must really like me lol. I actually got a dvd-player, couple of dvd's, a digital camera, a new cd-walkman, a drilling machine and a complete tool box. So now I can redecorate happily away while listening to G3-dvd playing in the background lol. Gee, I'm stunned... One of my best birthdays ever. From now on, I'm gonna be 30 every year! LOL!

Traditionally in Sweden, every five year is a "big" birthday (15, 20, 25, 30 and so on). 18 is also big, because that's when you're coming of age here. Is it the same pattern in other countries? I guess it's almost the same in the western world, but what about other continents? I know that the US has different age limits in every state, usually 18 or 21 I think. When you're 18 in Sweden you're allowed to drive, vote, go to bars, get credit cards... all kinds of stuff, except one small thing: you can not buy alcohol except in bars and restaurants. You're not allowed to enter the shops where they sell licquor until you're 20. Totally absurd. Swedish inconsistency at its best.

I want the new cd too! I'll have to wait for my next paycheck though, I'm completely broke right now. I'm really looking forawrd to it, the reviews here seem to be very positive, way cool.

OK, heading off to the kitchen now, got some cleaning up to do... that's really the worst part about having the party at YOUR house.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Hope all had a pleasant Easter too!

michelle I hope you feel better soon! To pass the time you could imagine all the things you're gonna do to that treacherous little bunny once you get your hands on him. Like putting him in a large pot of boiling water, along with some spices, carrots and white wine, and then inviting all the kids in the neighbourhood over for dinner.

Kell Thanks and no worry :) I hope you and your son enjoy the clinic!

Joeman Hi there, how are ya'? Cool about the cd's you ordered, you're gonna have a blast. I watched the G3-dvd last night, on MY OWN dvd-player lol. It was awesome.

michelle I know you meant the Easter bunny, but wouldn't it be *fun* to put him in a pot and cook away? lol In Sweden it's all about chickens, the little cute yellow and furry ones, with the occasional supervising hen with an apron and a scarf around her head. Easter bunny is not really big here. Something funny happened the other day when I was making a note for my neighbours, letting them know I was having a party so they wouldn't call the police at 2am. I was looking for a few easter pics to put in there and made a search for 'easter' in Microsoft Clip Gallery (you know, the one that comes with MS Word), and suddenly, among the pictures of rabbits and eggs and flowers, Jesus appears, all bloody and nailed to a cross with a crown of thorns around his head. Now that's what I call a party picture... lol! 'Yeah sure, come on in neighbours, we're gonna have a small crucifixion party here tonight... don't be late!' LOL!

But anyway, we had a nice party. And the neighbours didn't complain. ;-) Being 30 is not such a big deal to me, but maybe it's because I look younger than my age. I still have to show ID sometimes at the licquor store (you must be 20 for that). lol!

Austin You gave Joe a bootleg? That's so cool... I can just imagine him coming home after a concert, take off his shoes and lounge in the sofa while watching that tape...lol. I'd like to see that smile as well.
