Hey everyone, first post.
I was just curious how much time a day everyone spends practicing. I really want to improve my skills as a guitarist/bassist and as a musician overall and was looking for some feedback.
Also, on a curious sidenote (for Joe), I was listening to Borg Sex today and I was wondering, do you think of the theme for a song and then write something to match it, or write whats in your head and then think of a name that describes how the song sounds?

Joe, I was listening to the Merry Axemas cd's along with some Tran-Siberian Orchestra on my Christmas playlist and I thought it would be really cool if you, Steve, and some other guys did a classical version of the Merry Axemas project. You know, get a bunch of great guitarists, have them each write an arrangement of one of their favorite classical pieces and then put them all together. I know Savatage did some arrangements and then that led into TSO, but I can't think of anyone else that has done much along those lines. Just a thought. I love your music and you are a continual inspiration for me to pick up my guitar and keep working at improving my skills.
