Hello Joe [JS]... I just wanted to drop you a quick line. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of your new CD and I picked it up yesterday. What can I say... “Strange Beautiful Music” is awesome Joe! The first song “Oriental Melody” has that heavy bass and rhythm sound that I love just like in “Luminous Flesh Giants”, which is my “all time favorite” Joe song. The “Crush of Love” is right up there too along with many... many... more. I spent the better part of last night figuring out “The Traveler” which is so catchy! The melody and high notes you hit in the song feel great inside to play and remind me why I love to play the guitar so much! Anyway, keep on rockin... I love all your music! I’ve got every CD you made. I also hope to see you again the next time you visit Chicago. Take care and HAPPY BIRTHDAY a little early! I know it’s coming up, because we’re born a day apart. Ciao for now Joe and good luck with the new CD! Spizzaz [SS]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I know because, mines today and we are the same age. I still can't get over the time we met backstage and you took my CD to listen too. I hope you liked it? I've been playing your music for as long as I can remember and never get bored. I'm always learning from you the master.

I just did a tribute show last night in honor of your Birthday for a crowd of people from work. They liked it! They are all saying “Yeah” now!!! Yeah… Wow what can I say, Joe is the greatest man alive! For him to come out locally like this at a store, Tower Records in Schaumburg, Illinois out of Chicago and perform for everyone, then sign autographs (down to the very last person), which was me “Spizzaz”… man he is just a GREAT GREAT person! He was there for over two and a half hours and just as nice as can be! Not only is he a great musician, but a really down to earth person. Everyone should make it a point sometime in his or her life meet Joe. All the people there were in awe, including myself! Joe killed me when he commented on my “nice shades and how you forgot his” before performing. You know I would have given them to him in a heartbeat! The floor was packed around the stage. I just wanted to look just like him for the moment and man it felt good! I can’t get enough of Joe and his music!!! He is the coolest man on this earth!!! I’ve been to many of his concerts and even once won backstage passes to meet him in person and the band, which I will never forget! That’s another story, but you can see pictures of it on my website at “www.spizazz.com”. This time I saw him in another light… with all his fans and very close up. After his performance which was great as usual, I stood in the long line that wrapped completely around the store, and talked to many other musicians and young guns just starting out on guitar. Everyone did not mind the wait at all! I got a flavor of the crowd and what they like about Joe, from each of their favorite songs, his style and techniques when playing, and just over all showmanship and cool appearance. Everyone had great things to say about him and his music. Not only has he been an inspiration for me, but it was cool to see the many other fans he has effected! Thanks Joe!!! When I got to meet Joe yesterday, we took some pictures together, he signed my JS100, then his new CD, and wished me “Good Luck” with my music career. I went away on cloud 9 and feeling like “Cool #9”… one or my favorite songs. Yeah… it was truly a great experience!!!! See him if you can, you won't regret it! Well, finally I also just want to say special thanks to all the people surrounding Joe, from Mike Manning "MM" (Tech. Guitar God), to his Manager and Crew, Staff at Tower Records, The Loop etc.. You all put in a lot of effort and went above and beyond for all the fans and me! I'm not sure if you all ever get the recognition you deserve? Joe surrounds himself with very special people. THANK YOU ALL and what a GREAT JOB you did! I really appreciate it!!!! And last but not least... Joe, THANK YOU for everything! I can’t wait until you come back to Chicago again for your next show. You know I'll be there! Take care all and everbody just keep on "Rock’N in a Free World!!!! Thx, Spiz :)

Hello Joe, Yeah... haven't talked to ya in a while. Just wondering how the tour is going and if your working on any new songs? I sure had a great time meeting you again in April at Tower in Schaumburg ILL. when you signed my JS100. I love to play it and everytime I see you autograph still can't believe it. I'm still playing hard just to keep up with you and really love the new CD "Is there love in Space" besides the G3 DVD with you, Steve and Yngwie. What a rush it is to see so much talent! My favorites off the new CD are "Gnaaahh, Lifestyle, Is There Love in Space, If I Could Fly, The Souls of Distorion and I Like The Rain". All I can say is "Keep on Rock 'N in a Free World!" Thx for all the music, You are the best! Spiz :)

His fingers were a blazzin! Joe is the coolest! Thanks for checking out my web site for pics from the show! Rock on!

Hi Joe, Just wondering if you would ever consider a "look a like contest" for those Joe clones out there that would like to perform with you? Kind of a once in a life time chance for those to audition in front of you (with the band), and must know how to play at least 10 of your songs from beginning to end, look as close as possible just like you, etc.. Then you and the band choose the top 4 finalist, who would come on stage one at a time during either your opening or second half of the show, playing a little solo lead-in to you coming out and jamming with all 4 people. It would be GREAT!!! It would be kind of a G5 Joe Clone extravaganza!!! What do ya think? Yeah!!! Spiz :)

Where are all the Joe Clones out there that would love a chance to perform with Joe himself? Don't you think a contest would be a lot of fun!!!

Yeah... I like it Matt, great idea! A forum just T2J's would be great and a place to share info... sounds like something cool!

I would like to help too! I've got an idea for us to put together a show. I posed this idea to Joe but maybe we could plan a contest our selves?

Here's the idea; A "look a like contest" for those Joe clones out there that would like to win a chance to perform with him? Kind of a once in a life time chance for those to audition with Joe and the band. You must also know how to play at least 10 of Joe's songs from beginning to end, look as close as possible just like him, etc.. Kind of like a "American idol" but "Joe idol". Then you, Joe and the band choose the top 4 finalist, who would come on stage one at a time during either your opening or second half of the show, playing a little solo lead-in to you coming out and jamming with all 4 people. It would be GREAT!!! It would be kind of a G5 Joe Clone extravaganza!!! What do ya think? It's sure a dream of mine...Yeah!!! Spiz :)

Yeah... Hi Joe, Jeff, Matt, and Galen!

Just wondering how the tour is going? You guys sure are awesome! It was so cool to meet you guys again in person backstage in Chicago at the House of Blues. There was so much I wanted to say, but again I was starstruck, speechless, and just not worthy! Keep up the good work!

Hope you enjoyed the DVD of "The Day the Earth Stood Still", while traveling? I figured it was right up there with the kind of things you like, aliens, robots and space to mention a few. Thank you Joe for signing both my DVD's, I can't wait for the next one! Consider it sold before it's released! Your #1 fan and student!
