Hey Joe, It's great to have the opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy your fantastic guitar playing! It is especially nice that my 17 year old son is as big a fan as I am. (I'm 48) We trade your CD's back and forth to listen to all of the time. One of my favorites jams is Circles. Thanks for all of the goosebumps and exercise! (Air guitar is great cardio!) Haahaa! Your friend and fan, Jim

Hey Joe, Jim here from the DC/Baltimore area. I rushed to Best Buy yesterday and was delighted to see your new CD, so I bought it of course! I hope I don't wear out the CD player in my car, but if I do, it will die for a good cause! Baahahaha~! OK Bud, thanks for the great new music! I have to tell you, it keeps me smiling listening to your new CD, and all of the old ones too!! Take care, Jim

Hello Joe, Just a quick note to let you know how stoked my son and I are to be coming to see you at the Hippodrome in Baltimore on Oct 15! E103 & 104 in the Orchestra section! I have been a fan for a long time and my son (18) and I have always had a lot of "crossover" music that we both enjoy having cranked up in the car but when I turned him on to your first G3 CD with Steve and Eric, man o man, he was hooked like me! He started college and is such a great kid, I just wanted to surprise him with something fun, so we are gonna be at the show together! Anyway, really looking forward to hearing you live for the first time! Wishing you the best! Jim aka Tkdguy73

Hello Joe and Happy belated New Year!

I am a long time fan and attended your concert at the Hippodrome in Baltimore with my 18 year old in Nov '04 or so. We had so much fun! Anyway, I love your new DVD and CD 2 pack g3 in Tokyo, which my 3 teenagers were kind enough to buy me for Xmas. I wonder if the DVD that I have is a fluke or a wider spread kind of problem? When you , Steve and John get together for G3 jammin on Foxey, la Grange and Smoke, your guitar audio track is barely audible!! (The CD is fine but your licks are sort of an echoey background level verses up front and center like Steve and Johns tracks. I have tried it in numerous DVD players and tried setting the audio from 5.1 to the other setting, (PCM?) anyway, it's not the player, it's definately the DVD. The boys purchased my DVD from Amazon for 9.99 and it is a factory copy from everything I can tell...Anyway, I love your ongoing efforts and performances and the latest Live in Tokyo is my audio de jour while commuting back and forth from work. If you need more info about the bad audio tracks on the DVD my email is Tkdguy73@aol.com or @gmail.com. All the best to you, your family and the G3 crew! Jim

Hello Satch fans and Joe! I hope everyone is doing well! Joe, I totally enjoyed the last G3. I really found lots of added value in hearing your, Steve's and John's perspectives on the soundcheck and just how things went! How is the project that you mentioned writing the gaming audio going? Also, can you reveal the name of the game so we can go buy it when it is ready? Thanks a lot! As always, your fan, Jim

T minus 6 days, 4 hrs and 14 minutes and counting before meeting Joe in Baltimore! Yes I am excited, so is James Jr who is also going! Totally jazzed about the whole idea. I talked my brother into going to see Joe when they were in KC, MO last April 2nd and he didn't know who Joe or Eric or Jeff were, but he sure is a fan now!! LMAO Anyway, Joe if you read this, I wish you and yours all the success in the world and I am really looking forward to shaking your hand! ^5 Jim

Hey Everyone!!! First of all, I am still reeling from an amazing evening at the Ram's Head Live last night where I had the fantastic fortune of shaking Eric Johnson's hand since I was center stage and elbows on the stage the whole show,(he leaned over and shook about 10 hands including mine!) and since I had the platinum package, my son and I also got to meet Joe! What a great time! I have read a few reviews that Eric's sets had sound problems in the past, not in Baltimore! This 3 piece band kicked some serious musical @ss! They were fantastic! Joe and the boys were totally unbelievable! They were extremely tight and just grinning and jammin'. I still can hardly believe how much fun it was. Dave LaRue is definately a force of nature!! I think he makes an awsome compliment to Joe's team. The meet and greet was two parts, 21 folks in Baltimore signed up for the platinum package and I think 19 showed up. Our host Mr Iverson was really cool, we went into the venue before the masses to get our pictures taken with the Super Colossal Ibenez with Joe's Super Colossal face on it. (By the way, it was really fun and there was a lot of comradere among the fellow Satch fans! It was cool to meet all of you from all over the US!!)Then we all grabbed prime front stage spots before the doors opened. After the show, we all gathered stage left and after a fairly short wait, we were all in a big hallway where Mr Iverson asked us to wait and a few minutes later Joe walked in! I started applauding and Joe smiled and walked right up to me and shook my hand! Then Mr Iverson asked who wanted to go first, so I spoke right up and my son James and I went up to a small table with Joe and greeted him again and got our autographs. I asked him to sign the front cover of my Super Colossal CD and James asked him to sign 3G Live (the one with Eric Johnson) We then got pictures with him and we said good bye. Folks, Joe is a genuine, friendly, nice guy. He was so friendly and warm, he just made the experience so worth it! Besides putting on such a monster show, he was just nice as he could be. Anyway, if any of you are hedging on the idea of a platinum package, go for it! You won't be disappointed. As a sidenote about the myspace issue, look up Super Colossal in the music link on myspace and you will find the real Satirani site. The other on is questionable. Here is the link for the one that Sony kicks you to: http://www.myspace.com/supercolossal OK everyone, I hope everyone is doing well! ^5 Jim

Question for previous Platinum Package members.....how long does it take to get your pictures via the email? John Iverson said we would get a link to go to via the email addy that we used to buy the package. I was fortunate enough to meet Joe on April 17th and I am anxious to see the pics of my son, Joe and me at the meet and greet. Thanks for any help you can offer! ^5 Jim

Greetings Joe! I was fortunate enough to meet you last April 17th in Baltimore with my son James! (We were the first one's to step up during your meet and greet). Anyway, I am going Platinum again and bringing another son who felt very slighted last time when I did not take him with me! He is 15 and has a nice Ibenez and is really getting pretty good on it! Anyway, his B-Day is April 25th and he still doesn't know I have tickets for us for his present, he will lose his mind for sure! :) Anyway, I sure am looking forward to April 1st at Ram's Head Live in Baltimore! All the best to you and your family and crew! Jim www.myspace.com/tkdguy73

Hello Satch Fans! I am going to the Baltimore show with my 15 year old son Corey! (We are both really excited!) I had a great time meeting Satch fans at the Hippodrome in Baltimore 2 years ago and at Rams Head live last year. Anyone going to the show on April 1st? Maybe we can meet early and get a beer (or iced tea) before the show since Ram's Head Live just happens to be surrounded by great bars! Lemme know! One of many #1 Satch fans, Jim "Slow Down Blues"

Hello Everyone! Saw G3 last night in Baltimore! You have got to be kidding me! What a show! Paul Gilbert and his band are amazing! I can tell you, I would not want to follow that opening act! Then John Petrucci, Dave LaRue and Mike Portnoy came out.......those names speak for themselves! WOW is all I can say! Finally, Joe, Galen, Dave (yes he was the hardest working bass player in showbiz, double duty) and Jeff came out and blew the doors off Rams Head Live. After their set, John and Paul came back out to do an amazing Hendrix mix and Jumping Jack Flash with Joe's band! All in all it was crazy fun! I had my son with me and he was speechless! I had the pleasure of meeting MarimariSRV last night as well! We stood in the very front and had a blast! What a lovely and sweet lady she is! OK everyone, if G3 is coming to your area and you don't have tickets yet, I highly recommend you go for it! It is an amazing show! Bye for now, Jim

Ilya - your question about the premium packages - (first of all hello to you and all our friends in Russia! Whats up!!! :) ) I have been to 3 of Joe's concerts and the last 2 concerts I opted for the premium packages. Both times I took one of my son's with me. They will never forget those concerts by the way! If you are a fan of Joe's like most of us on this site, you will never regret spending a little extra to meet and chat with Joe. He is a very approachable, friendly and gracious guy. He made my sons and me feel very comfortable, signed a couple of goodies for us, answered questions, joked around a bit, shared a couple of experiences on the road that he and his crew have been through, so if you are asking my opinion, you cannot go wrong with the premium package! ^5 Jim
