That is the biggest bullshit list I've ever seen...every album by the Beatles does NOT need to be on there...maybe 2 or 3, but you can't tell me that they were THAT good...they should start calling their lists the most POPULAR ... of all time. Then at least they'd make sense. Total BS.

Good point. I don't really get po'd about this stuff anymore, it's just annoying that every list I see by them and 99% of the articles are BS. Oh well...at least I know I'll never waste my money subscribing lol

Carina: GREAT pix!
Quito: yeah, Yngwie switched guitars almost every song. They're all just the same color and they're all strats, so you don't notice the difference. Vai played 3 that I know of and Satch had at least 4 different ones. Agora entendo que voce estava dizendo. Vou ver o site da UNISUL. Obrigado outra vez.

Austin: to each his own. The whole "popular" part of my post was meant to say that while the Beatles were popular, I don't know if that many albums were THAT revolutionary that that many should be on the list. After the first few albums, their music didn't really have any new styles in it. Then again, I guess you have a point because technically I could say the same about Satch or Vai's CD's.
Alexandre: yeah I just joined over at Vai's site and the "Western..." movie is cool as hell.
Trutina: Feel better, man.

Michael Angelo: There's supposed to be a 2CD and single DVD set out around Jan-Feb 2004. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

Tastey: Yeah my girlfriend gets sick of Satch too, but that's usually only when we're on car rides and I've already played 3 CD's lol. It's gotten to the point now where, since I hardly ever listen to anything else, she just wants something new once in awhile...I guess I can deal with it.

Quito: Tenho provado a caipirinha e gosto dela muito!
JuJu: Ever think about trying a 3/4 size acoustic? I have one made by Dean and it's actually pretty good...got me through my Mexico trip just fine!
The Prez: I think I started out with Crystal Planet and then bought like 3 more the next day lol. About school, just be happy that the P.O.S. community college that you only attended for one summer semester didn't forget to send in your transcript. I find out one month late now whether or not I'm getting into the gread program I wanna do.
Austin: Fell better, man. Being sick sux...my whole family has been for like a week now.
Dizzy, I think it's 12, 6, 7.
SupaaDave: Sorry about your loss. Words are never enough.
Michelle: HIGH QUALITY! Ridiculously nice of you to hook Ovation1 up like that! I give you "mad props!"

JuJu: Hope yesterday was better for you than Wed. I definitely appreciate my family more when I think about the fact that they could be gone soon...both sets of grandparents are in their 70's but healthy, so I'm very lucky. Got great news on Wed actually...my aunt was diagnosed with 6 months to live due to breast cancer (stage 4) about 6 years ago...she recently had a brain tumor develop and we thought that she was gonna be gone soon. Somehow, it has been reduced by 2/3 and she's feeling fine...the woman is just amazing. Made my turkey day a very thankful one.
DCK: Thanks for the Thanksgiving card lol.
AAREN MOWLE: I have just had a listen to The Rape on your IUMA and, f**k meThat's a bit ironic, no? lol
A happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone...I was at home with the family so I couldn't get on because we had company from 2 until 12.
The Prez: I'll say that the nature of the new Vai CD will be AWESOMENESS ;)
PHRYDOM: Beautiful dogs! I have a lab-shelty, but we don't know what's gonna happen with her next year...parents are moving to an apt on the beach, I'll probably be living with them for the year, and my lil bro's gonna be in the dorms at UF. We'll have to see, but I REALLY wanna figure out a way to keep her. She's 9 years old, so she doesn't have much time left and I don't think it'd be fair to her to give her to someone she doesn't really know.
BEEZER: I tend to not really go over anything other than songs that I want to learn...tough to find time inbetween writing papers, working, exams, etc. Next semester I'll have more free time, so the plan is to work on theory for a half an hour a day and work on specific songs for another half hour. My schedule next semester's pretty easy, so that's actually pretty realistic. I'm ok at guitar, but I know I'll never have the time to play as much as it'd take to go pro, so I choose to just have fun with it.

Ovation1: Thanks for the well wishes...it really is amazing what a great mind and a BIG heart can do.
WELL, it's almost gametime and I'm finally gonna feel what it's like to be a true fan...supposed to get down to the 30's by the end of the UF-FSU game tonight, and I'll be there the WHOLE game, so we'll see if I come back with icicles hanging from my face or not ;) Wish us luck!

Led Z Rocks:That song is called Vaughandrix. It's written by a Vegas band called Charge. You can probably still download it legally at www.sampleaccurate.com, the band's website. Not sure if that still works, tho, since I dl'ed it last about 4 years ago. Great song tho.
If anyone wants to add me in that MSN chat, I'm a_schwartzseid@hotmail.com.
Just got LISF DVD and it ROCKS! I'm loving it so far and I'm still not even done with the first DVD!

Alexandre: Cool stuff about getting AWMAWY dedicated...must be a nice to get enough airplay that you get songs dedicated to you by the DJ himself! ;)
I use Dunlop short stubby 2.0's for faster stuff and Jum Dunlop lights (the blue ones ;) for rythm/chordy stuff.
Tastey: Sorry to hear about your recent situations. For me it only took a revalation that I was a lazy bastard to get me off my ass, although I guess it'd be a bit tougher with a smoker. If you need to let off some steam or get some advice, you know we're all here for ya!
Mick: How smooth does Al DiMeola look?! I mean, seriously!
Drummer: Mike Portnoy. LMAO @ Quito about Animal
JOE: Great to hear you guys're already getting somewhere with the G3 footage! Make sure to add in a quick clip of me at the WPB show ;)
Yoda: Hey, at least you got more than I would have!
Michelle, I'd bring myself to a homeless shelter and hope for the best lol
WHEW...took me 2 days to get thru this weekend's posts and I didn't even read them all! Anyway, I'm selling 2 Digitech mini pedals if anyone's interested...one's a phaser and one's a mini distortion/mini amp. Lemme know if you're interested.
Good luck to anyone taking finals this week. I've gotten through 5 papers (none in English) and an exam so far in the past week and I have 1 paper and 3 exams to go. Wish me luck!

elpp: Sorry to hear about your uncle...always a damn shame to see an innocent person hurt, as well as the people who loved him.
Mick87: LMAO! I've been wanting a nice leather jacket for some time now, but I just might have to go out and get one now! The leather Gator jacket just isn't suave enough for a soon-to-be college grad.

Top 5: Satch, Vai, Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Santana. Satch is always #1, but the other 4 rotate.

Holy SHYTE! More than 20 pages! Let's make this quick!
Quito: Nao o tenho mandado porque nao tenho podido encontra-lho.
Good to see that some of the winners were loyal posters on the site this time! Congrats to the winners!
Congrats to me for getting accepted in my top choice of grad programs! Guess I'll be meeting Alexandre and Quito next year! If anyone else is in Brazil or Spain and wants to meet up lemme know!
JS_JS: Yeah I've wanted one of those for awhile too but the GNX3 comes with one so I'm thinking of getting it after I see if that one's good enough.
Artanis I: LMAO at the spelling mistakes! Me and my dad do the same thing...his nickname is pricknuits because of that lol.
UGH...7 pages left! I'll save those for after dinner! MMM...Chicken and sausages...Great to be home!

Alexandre: Thanks for the congrats! We should definitely meet up next year! I'll be in Spain for almost 4 months, so I'm going to be taking at least 2 weekend side trips...probably to Italy and Portugal! Um grande abraco, amigo!
michelle: Hell yeah! Group X is funny as hell. Mario Twins is probaly my fav.
R6R: That medical one is my friend's fav word to pronounce...I think it's just because he's proud he can remember that many syllables without fainting ;)
On another note, has anyone ever had a 2 day stretch when they come home to visit their family and suddenly every ex girlfriend they had at home wants to get together? I've had 3 ex's and one old female friend who always wanted to date me try to set up times to chill between yesterday and the day before...just thought it was weird.

Happy Holidays to all! I leave in about 8 hours for a cruise with the family, so I won't be here for the rest of Channukkah or Christmas, but I hope everyone enjoys whichever holiday they choose to celebrate! I'll be back in a week, but you'll all be on my mind! Later!

1: Got Alien Love Secrets yesterday. Very impressed...I didn't really like some of Steve's stuff the first few times I heard it, but just about everything's grown on me since.
2: Happy Belated New Year! My night was good, other than blowing my ONLY amp! I'll find out tomorrow if it was just a fuse or not so wish me luck...what a depressing start to 2004.
Dunno if I mentioned that my Channukkah present from my lil bro was the Satch Tapes and Anthology...GREAT stuff! I'm really enjoying them both. Also got a BB King and SRV DVD from my parents so I'll be checking those out when I get back to Gainesville...reviews to come.
Finally saw LOTR tonight...MY G-D that movie's awesome! I can't wait for the trilogy to come out in extended versions on DVD...I loved the first 2 as well, so I'll definitely be buying them when it comes out together. I'll start reading the books when I get back to Gainesville as well, starting with all the others (the Hobbit, etc.) and then moving on to the LOTR books...so much for free time this semester.
