The Prez: Dolph Lundgren (sp?) played the original punisher. I like Travolta as a villain, so I'll probably go see it even though it'll probably just be an OK movie.
Here's to hoping Trutina gets better soon.

Enrique: You've got some great stuff on the site! Keep up the good work!

Holy shyte...I gotta stop getting behind here! over 20 pages again lol!
Well, I just wanted to say that I just read the Hobbit last week and I can't believe that's how the book ended...big dissappointment, but I guess maybe I was just expecting something spectacular. Oh well...LOTR started off good, so we'll see. I'm really enjoying reading all the stuff that didn't make the book.
r6r: I have that Zen Guitar book. Maybe after I finish the Tolkien books I should actually read some of the stuff that I've bought over the years and never looked at again lol!
I completely agree that too many people try to emulate their favorite stars. I've only been playing 3 years, but even I know that if you try to sound like Satriani, you're gonna come out sounding like yourself anyway, just spending a ton on gear. lol With all this talk of legato vs alternate picking, I've realized that I'm not really good at either. I gotta work on that I guess ;)
I love ebay...I got 5 tab books for 10 bucks, and all but one are stuff I really wanted...on that note, if anyone wants a Best of LA Guns tab book lemme know lol
Mr Nick & Jazzer: Happy belated to both of you!
Anyone going to NAMM this weekend...I'd definitely check out the DEAN booth...lots of nice new stuff coming out this year...lower prices, too!
That double trem guitar is just incredible...I can't imagine even being good enough to be able to play perfectly with one let alone trying 2 lol
That's enough for now...be back on later tonight to finish up lol

Stu Clone: Airheads was a great movie...I was thinking about buying it just the other day, but then I realized I'm saving up for about 10 things right now lol

I can't believe how out of shape I am right now...ok so I played soccer from when I was 6 until I was 19...I go to play today (I'll be 22 in Feb) and I can barely move! Damn this class is gonna kick my fat ass back into shape lol
PREZ: I was saying on the Dean board that they'd put out a Hobbit movie by 2006 about a month ago lol I'm just now about 50 pages into the first LOTR after reading the Hobbit last week, and I must say it's even better than the movie so far!

Ga60: that's "Vaughandrix" from sampleaccurate.com Great song. Thanks to Matt Martinez for that updated link to Charge...last I heard of them was about 3 years ago at sampleaccurate.com
Mick87: That Spongebob stuff was great! And the phrase "Fury Unleashment" is possibly one of the funniest I've heard
Happy belated, Master Yoda!
Michelle, I'm actually trying to find that type of paint for a custom axe that I'm building. I'm trying to find blue to green but I haven't seen it anywhere yet...if you know of a place where I can buy it please lemme know!
Clarky: Yes, Michael Angelo Batio was the guitarist for Nitro. I'll be meeting him in a month!
Stu Clone: Dude, I may be no movie buff, but I know a great retarded comedy when I see one! ;)
Stringless Obsession: I got Guitar Secrets from Barnes & Noble. You might wanna check them out.
Prez: AWESOME pic lol I have the Godfather Theme as my ringtone for good friends on my cell.
962: Gotta agree on that Eric Johnson tone thing...BTW is it just me or does one of the songs on Alien Love Secrets sound like it should have been written by EJ?
HALFNUTZ: IMAX = genius
ALEXANDRE: I'm doing really well...easy courseload = lots of free time, so I'm working on getting my website up. Don't worry you're already linked. Speaking of which, if anyone wants to be linked on my site, email me @ a_schwartzseid@hotmail.com. I'll post a link to the site itself once I get all the content up that I currently have on my computer (still gotta put the pix up, etc).
Quito: obrigado! Nao achava que voce teria o tempo para ler-lo tudo. Que bom que voce gosta dele!
Tonapah: go and buy The Satch Tapes on VHS or DVD. It's on there.
Luke the Duke: I only change my strings when they break. I do, however, change the whole set once one breaks because it's usually every 5 months or so.
S1220: you might wanna check out some of Eric Johnson's stuff. There are a whole load of guys on this board who have some great music as well. I listen to Pete Mulas, Alexandre Caetano, and Clarky all the time on my computer.
Congrats to those who have recently gotten new guitars...I'm hoping to get a new one in late Feb from my gf (there's a new Dean eVo for only 100 bucks retail, so let's hope) and I'm in the midst of building one.

Michelle: thanks for that link. Problem is that I just haven't found the color combo that I want. Oh well...thanks!
962: The track from ALS was "The Boy from Seattle," which sounds like EJ to me, but may not to anyone else. Thanks for the paint advice!
Tastey: GREAT joke! LMAO
Prez: No sorry I don't have one. I could tab it out if you really wanted it but I've never tried to play it before, so it may take awhile.
AND AGAIN, IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE LINKED EMAIL ME @ a_schwartzseid@hotmail.com. So far I've got Alexandre, trutina, Chris Peters, Gabe Rivas, Miguel Pais, Pete Mulas, M. Yoda, Barrie Poole, and DCK. Lemme know.

WOW...lots behind right now lol I don't think I've had time to be on since school started back up. NEWSFLASH: I got a letter from the program that I'll be doing next year, so to the guys in Brazil and Portugal, I hope to see you sometime in early to mid 2005!
Recently learned how to play Life's Been Good by Joe Walsh and Ghost Riders in the Sky by Dick Dale...GREAT songs and lots of fun!
Alexandre: No problem linking you. I'm proud to have links to such great music!
I have no clue why, but recently I've been on this do-it-yourself-so-you-save-money kick, and I bought 2 books about guitar setups. I'll let you guys know how they are when they get here next week.
PHRYDOM: Powers of your.....is a GREAT book! My buddy lent it to me about 2 years ago and I've yet to give it back...I read it every 2 months or so just to keep it fresh.
WHEW! Just went thru like 10 pages and still have over 20 left...it's 4 am and I have class at 9:35 so I guess I should go to sleep.

String G: I love Sting, but I bought the new CD and I gotta say I'm really dissappointed. It's just like he's trying to be Madonna and changing with the times, but he's really not quite doing it well.
Zonin: Sorry this took so long...been away for awhile and still currently 36 pages behind and have a LOT to do in the next few days. I'm a HUGE Hendrix fan, but since I can't make the currently scheduled gigs, I chose not to post about it. I'm sure that there were plenty of people that did the same.

Alexandre: happy belated bday! Sorry I've been trying to catch up but there are just SO many posts!
PhryDom: Well, I dunno how to feel, but I got a 2900...should I be proud or sad? ;)
Down to only 500 posts...that being said, I'd say about 50 of the last 500 have been double posts. I'm sure it's all been said but PLEASE stop.

MegaBoyd: I LOVE Seinfeld, but don't always have time to watch. Jerry is a terrible actor though, just like the show. AUSTIN: I actually like Friends. Does that make me gay or something? haha
JazzMan: I agree that the site isn't updated hardly enough, but Jon seems to be a very busy guy. I sent him an email back in November about my G3 Pics and he just got back to me yesterday saying that he didn't have time to look through all 50 pix and to just pick my top 4 to send him.
Aquarius here...bday's next Wednesday.
Austin: about awesome live photos, I'll let you know when I get mine up on my website. Should be by the end of next weekend.
R6R: Happy belated bday man!
Chris Peters: Def agreed about Sister Hazel! They're one of my favorites and great guys at that. I have only been a fan for like a year but still...they're great.
MegaBoyd: You may wanna check out the Lyra...10 or 20 gigs and you can play movies with it as well. I'm saving for one at the moment but probably won't get it until the price drops.
Last but not least, HOLY SHYTE...just went thru 20 pages haha

Tone Capone: Thanks for the advice, but for the few added options that come with the 4 over the 3, it's not worth the extra 200 bucks to me. I'm new at multi-fx pedals and fairly new to pedals in general, so I figured this is the perfect mix of lots of options and not THAT expensive. Thanks!

TheA: Welcome!
Um grande abraco para Alexandre e Quito!
Zach: good luck on the ebay sales!
Sharif: I agree completely on the whole rap thing, but I think that the good instrumentation is mostly with the neo-soul type stuff. Check out the Roots, Common, etc. if you're interested.
A huge congrats to TRUTINA!

Julie: you could probably do it by using a mini-plug to casette jack...you know the kind that comes in a car kit.
That fretcam sounds pretty damn cool...I'd like to see that.
Clarky: You crack me up bro. No specific posts, just everything haha
DelfinoPie: It seems like cancer is becoming more and more of an epidemic (if you can call it that) lately. I have an aunt who was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago. They gave her 6 months to live, and I'll be seeing her in a few months, at my graduation (she didn't think she'd make my little bro's bar-mitzvah and he's now graduating high school). If you have the will, you CAN beat it. I wish the same for your mom.
Joeman9: I'm Jewish and have no problem whatsoever with people talking about Chistianity on the site. As long as noone tries to convert me, it's all good.
Delfino said to visit a certain BB because it needed some gopod traffic. Everyone should visit my BB as well! Because it needs it even worse...only 9 members so far but it's only been around a day and a half, so whatever.

Since I finally caught up to yesterday's posts, thanks to all for the birthday wishes. I had a great time...girlfriend threw a surprise dinner for me and a bunch of people I hadn't seen since last Spring semester were there. Overall, it was a great birthday.
Jazzy Boy:the fact that you openly admit to being a jackass shows me that you should probably seek some help.
Sorry bout the double posts, but I don't wanna lose what I type like I usually do haha

Austin: on the Roots - see, I like them a lot because I used to be really into rap, pretty much until I got to college and remembered I was white haha. They're just a great mixture of most of the types of music that I like. I think The Seed 2.0 is one of the best songs they've done in awhile.
Joeman9: you might wanna check out my links page. There's much more that I'll be adding soon, so keep checking for more after this weekend.
