hello everybody.i am an indian and i love music. i listen to a wide range of music both classical and rock.i think joe is a fantastic composer and a great player.if something in this world moves me,then it's got to be joe's concept of melody and rhythm.my dream is to meet the greatest guitar composer ever(i.e. satriani) in person.in this part of the world some of joe's albums like 'the extremist','not of this earth','the beautiful guitar' are not available. in India there are many satriani fans.it would be great if satriani came to calcutta(India) to perform. hi this is priyam from calcutta, india. i am a big fan of satriani.i have one important question to ask. joe how do you compose instrumentals. do you follow any methodology while composing those soulful tunes? how much are you influenced by other people's tunes. IMPORTANT: JOE PLEASE LET ME KNOW ABOUT MUSICIANS WHO HAVE INSPIRED YOUR STYLE.ALSO YOUR LIST OF 10 GREAT GUITARISTS OF ALL TIME.

ALSO PLEASE COME TO CALCUTTA.THIS IS THE ONLY INDIAN city which has a SPECIAL liking for performing arts.

one more question: have you guys ever heard of A.R.RAHMAN the GREAT INDIAN COMPOSER.ACCORDING TO MANY HE IS ONE OF THE BEST COMPOSERS THE WORLD HAS EVER PRODUCED. PEOPLE INTERESTED IN INDIAN MUSIC SHOULD LISTEN TO A.R.RAHMAN.
