rododd....i had a few bad experiences with carvin...both in quality of product...and in customer service. they sent me not 1, not 2, but 3 amps with the same defect...and they tried saying i was the one mistreating the amp...even though i had it for less than 15 mins and the tubes we're already glowin cherry red. every single amp (carvin legacy) that was sent to me, had bad condensors...in other words, too much electron flow was going into the tubes causing them to over heat...and it took my 3 bad experiences to bring this point to their attention.

plum loco...naa i ditched the legacies all at once...not worth the head ache, and they sounded like garbage to me...had a nice clean tone, but that was about it...
i'm not a fan of line 6 amps at all...im just very pleased with the bluesy vintage tones on guitar port! the higher gain models sound really tacky to me! just my opinion...

invigor, i totally agree with you. this album (time machine) is incredible. I haven't popped it in the cd player for almost 2 years...
I wonder what joe's set up was for this CD cause his lead tone i think is at it's best on songs like "the speed of light"...nothing beats it...

yngwie...g3...this should definitly be one of the most prestige g3's of them all...and will def give joe and steve a run for their money as far as performance goes...yngwie's got all the tricks...joe's got all the melody...and steve...well, he's just a nut when it comes to performing...personality accross the boarrds...damn i cannot wait for this.
edit: typos! silly me...

lyz...hah not just yet :) i'm really taking time tweaking every little aspect of the tunes so i don't go in there guessing what to play...i've been notorious in assuming a song was ready, and it always comes out half assed...gotta really have our shit together before we go into the studio...
templar...apologies man...kinda going through some issues with brian moore...just can't connect with that axe the way i can with the js...and it's time to face the music...

the issue with the brian moore is very very simple...being an endorsing artist will definitly bring you some sort of publicitiy...i tried my hardest to ajust to this guitar...i really truly do like it a great deal. but, after not playing the js for a few serious months...i picked it up for the ultimate test...
i never connected with a guitar so much in my entire life. i was wrapped up in the world of "endorsing artist" and internet feedback. a guy that i really look up to gave some of the best advice i will ever get. just cause some of us get instant great feedback over the net, does not mean that anythign is happening...all the shit that matter, happens out side the doors...and off computers. having to get out there and do my thing, but in other ways...i can't be myself, unless im completely comfortable with my musical tools...while i truly do appreciate the brian moore i1f...as it was an excellent change from the js and did force me to play some what differently, a little more aggressively...it just was not the guitar i could really relate myself to...some of you know what i mean...

...and to answer another question i get from time to time "why do you prefer the original edge over the lo pro?" ...i set js's up with two springs only...the lo pro edge will not support this two spring set up with a proper trem angle...also..the original edge responds alot more as well as has a lot more pull to i...
