GodGunsGuitars oh I know. dont worry, I meant if I find a map, not that I will go looking for one right away and try something. it probalby would be best to wait until shcools out which is late June. I mean its really busy, I can do stuff on weekends but that is just with people who live close, but it is a little further to Seattle. I told my mother about this idea and she thought that is was cool(I told here it would probalby wait unitl schools out) and she just asked a question that I actually am wondering, how old are you? cause you could probably drive yourself here or meet halfway and follow or whatever. these are just some ideas to think about. later.

Austin read your review, agree most of the time except that I think Up in Flames is a cool song, it has good melodie and the solo is pretty cool, I like it. I also think that Hands In the Air is a cool song, when Joe playes in drop D or on a Seven String he plays with style, unlike most bands today who just do the same heavy rythm sound, its gay. what is up with Tumble and Dog With Crown and Earring??? are those on a speacil release? cause they arent on my cd. just wondering, but yeah, great review.

Powerslave214 your right. I Like the Rain is a very cool song. I only disagree with the lyrics though. I Like the Rain !!! I guess its because I live on the Olympic Penninsula and Joe lives in California. I have been to L.A. while it was "raining". they slow down driving and get afraid and bring out umbrellas. what they call rain I call nice weather. belive me, folks in Cali dont know what real rain is!! its funny, lol. but yeah, that song rules.

my guitar should be ready for me on saturday, and my new case for it should be coming soon. yeah!

why does Joe's new ablum have two songs that arent on it? I hate that, I dont live in Japan! I want to hear them though, and have them on the album I buy, ugh! oh well...

Austin I know what you mean. I wont and I didnt last time. also, I got my paper back today. I got a B + which pleases me so I am not going ot rewrite it. I think I did ok on it. glad its over.

slanshroom I will have a mature argument with him if he doesnt say crap about me and says it about the subject and doesnt swear at me and stuff. then I will.

hey everyone. what do you think of the Boss BD-2 Blues Driver and the SD-1 Super Overdrive? I have a Ds-1 and I like the sound of it except for the crackleing with my straight state amp whenever I turn the distortion up. the BD-2 and SD-1 say that they simulate and give off the sound of a tube amp, is this true? do they sound good with a straight amp even when you actually turn the distortion all the way up? if so, which is better and which do you recomend? actually I was wondering what the difference is between overdrive and distortion. if it turns out that these go well with striaght state amps then I am probalby gonna get one. thanks.

Austin yes I have the option but I already told her that I wasnt going to rewrite it. she would let me if I asked her, I will if I have a night this week where I dont have homework in other classes becuase it is too much. its worse now cuase I got my guitar back and played it for the first time in two weeks today, and I sucked! I am trying to get back to what I was because a couple of friends and me are starting a band in a week or so. its gonna be fun. but yeah, I might rewrite it still.

Joeman9 wow! nice to see you posting agian. whats up?

holdy crap I have so much homework, this sucks!!

so anyone, do the Boss BD-2 or SD-1 work well with straight state amps when you actually use all the distortion? cause the DS-1 doesnt. thanks...

trutina well, how do you think it would sound with a Behringer Gx212? that is my amp. my DS-1 sounds good playing lead but when you strum it is too much for it and it crackles unless you turn down the distortion. I was wondering if a BD-2 (Blues Driver) or SD-1 (Super Overdrive) would sound better becuase it says that they are supposed to give you the warm sound of a tube amp and thats what I want, and I dont have the money to just buy one, otherwise I would. but what do you think? thanks.

sammy andrews I figured that would happen, lol. thanks though.

962 thanks, I dont know what I am going to try though, I will decide sometime after I get money (if I do, lol). after driving my car to school today I think most of my money will be going towards that, lol, it is a V8 and a gas hog but it is fast so oh well. not to mention the insurance payments. anyway, thanks for the info.

trutina thanks. I figured I would use a better pedal (if there is one) as a substitute until I get a tube somewhere down the road. but yeah, thanks.

OCPS470 cool but does it sound pretty smooth with a straight state amp? that is what I am looking for-a little more smoothness until someday I have enough money to buy a tube amp. but thanks.

I think it is time to hit the sack. band practice tomorrow. goodnight everyone...
