alblues have you seen the G3 03' dvd? its great. I was lucky enough to get to see the show in Seattle and let me tell you it was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. and I love Yngwie and his music, I dont care if he is a show off or whatever, his music is very cool. a lot of people say that he has been playing the same thing for twenty years but it is new to me so I think its great. anyway, check out the dvd if you havent already.

soul of distortion I agree with you man! mondays suck big time. lucky for me they wont be as bad after a while becuase this one is getting closer to over and only six days of school left. mondays will be better when you dont have to get up early on them and go to school.
cuthbert1776 hey man. I am also a Christian and I agree with your statements a lot. you have a good point and I agree with you. I almost always make it to church (which of course doesn't make me a believer) and once a week our family has a Bible study together. we used to have youth group but its done for the summer but we are going to have a youth Bible study which I am gonna try to make it too. these types of things make you a better Christian, not by just doing them but by learning from them and having an active relationshilp with Jesus and God. also you need to do your very best to follow all of the Lord's rules and read scripture as often as you can or need to. this makes it way better than just believing. but you alreay knew that I think. anyway, have a nice day brother-lol.

Austin another good point about non-catholic churches. Martin Luther had some great things to say most of them seem to be ture. b;ut who was talking about the money and mistress thing, was that you? anyway, about Catholic preists and such being corupt it seems that a lot of them still are today. what a messed up deal.
I think it might be time to play guitar in a little bit.

Jazzy boy no I dont have a problem. take it easy man. you said to stop talking about religion cause it was boring and suggested that we tell dirty jokes so I asked you to tell us a good one. and you said something about hip hop and i was wondering if you liked it because you are a Satch fan and the few Satch fans that i know, and the few people I know who play guitar hate it. it is kinda a wierd mix of music. so I was just wondering. I just told you I hate it becasue I was on the subject and my friends say that I am racist for hating hip hop and rap so I figured I would tell you that I wasnt before hand so that if you thought maybe that was a possibility then now you dont have to say it. no big deal really, just conversation. I have no problem whatsoever. so....

Supaa Dave I agree with you. it is a disgrace. how can people even call it music? and so many of them like it!! it makes me angry! I have been trying to turn some people I know into 'rockers' but its not happening. oh well, let em rot in ther jewelry, Joe and such are the true musicians. they and us actually have a love for music too, rather than the fame or whatever they like. anyway, I agree with you and good point.

962 once again I have to say that I agree with your song choices. Speed of Light is a freaking awsome song!! my friend wants to learn to play it really bad, but he is so busy, he hardly ever plays his guitar. I have been that way lately too cause of shcool. but it is almost out so then I will problaby have time to play a lot and get some lessons or something. but yeah, good songs.

jazzy boy yeah, sorry dude, that freaking sucks. I will probalby have busy weeks and boring weeks on and off this summer. I hate the boring ones but I dont like being overloaded with stuff to do either.

962 Vai is doing Halo 2 as in he is playing music for the game? that would be sweet!!
has anyone ever heard of the Micheal Ross band? probalby not. they are a band from around my area. I saw them play live on satruday. it was pretty good. they did their own music which is kinda blues like and old rock. and then they did some other peoples' songs like Santana and stuff like that. it was good. I also got a cd from them. they are pretty cool.

Jazzy boy I agree that that is pretty stupid of Santana to say that crap. I like some of his music but what a jerk. but i do think that mtv and vh 1 freaking suck. they need to put some white people up there, and play some real music. I dont know if they are racist but what happened to them. last time I had a guitar lesson (7 or 8 months ago) my teacher was talking about mtv. he said that he hates it now and that they never play real music, they just play rap and all that crap. I agree, they did use to play real music like he said. but not anymore. they should get Satch and stuff and play it ! ! !
man, its freaking hot here, for here anyway. and only two days of school left!! then I can spend all day playing guitar and swimming at the lake instead of only a few hours !

jazzy boy I'm not freaking racist. I sweart, lol. but I hate rap and I am sick of it, it is everywhere. mtv used to play Joe and other good music where people actually play instruments and sing and do it well. what happened. that is all I am saying. why does it sell the most? why do people like it so much. no one ever gives me a straight answer when I ask that. I just dont get it. but yeah, Santana shouldnt say that.
Unknows origin great idea man. you have an answer to part of my qeustion. but why teens listen to it? because its cool? I dont think so, a lot of the people I know that listen to it dont either say that or taht it has a good beat which is crap cause Joe and Steve's music and such has just as great a beats if not better. I get the hint that they do it because everyone else does it. not cause they really like it and that pisses me off. my only friends who even have heard of Joe Satriani and like his music are musicians. I have noticed that at my school and out of my friends the only ones who listen to what I call 'good music' are musicians. it freaking sucks.
Austin I agree with your commenst to jazzy boy. I want the music that most white poeple play. that is what I meant. most of my favorite musicians are white-not for that reason but becasue they are freaking awsome guitar players. why arent they on tv???
civgeek I cant help you with the speling on that. all I konw is that it is somewhere close to me. I dont know if it is norht or south of me though. the lame thing is that I have been therer before but I dont know where it is. and they way the weather is now I think it will hold. I cant wait to bet to 4th period today, take my last final, come home and go to the lake. then I think I will go to school tuesday for the last day. it is only two hours or so long so we will just hang out and then my friend David is coming over I think. we will problaby go swimming or whatever. but have fun man. if you are gonna be going through or by Hoopsport or Shelton let me know cause those are close to me and maybe you could stop and say hi or something. later.
they should just start playing G3 on tv. any channel ! G3 is one of the coolest things to happen to music. who agrees?

young bernie yeah man. agree with you about the whole music thing so far. a lot of those people suck. but I do spend my sundays a little different than you. lol. but anyway, I agree with your views so far on the whole music thing. that kinda crap pisses me off.
jazzy boy I didnt say that they're weren't any good black guitarists. I just said that my favorites, that I want to see on mtv and such, are white. but Jimi Hendrix is one of my favorites and hes black and indian or something. it doesnt really matter to me, some of his music is pretty good. and that guy that played guitar with Steve Vai at G3 was pretty good and he was black. I dont care though, they play good music and that is what counts. but they need to be on tv.

man, not to busy around here the last couple hours.
I cant wait unti lI can see my guitar teacher agian. I think I am gonna call him this week so I can get a lesson next week or something. he is so cool. I wish that I had a lesson every week but its never gonna happen.

Austin believe me. there is no point. actually it is good for saying goodby to teachers or seeing what your grade is before report cards come in the mail. I went today to get a project in woodshop to bring home and to say by to my teacher who is retiring this year. I had her all year and she is awsome. it kinda sucks but I am glad that school's over. believe me.
