Clarky - Aw, dammit! I have a band practice that day. I don't tomorrow, or the week after, but I do that day. Fucking sucks. I have to go though, coz we're recording our album soon... Did you check out my latest song? It's a ballad called 'Missing You', and it's here. I'd love to know what you think.

Joeman9 - I tried that thing and it was wrong!!!! It was right the first time, but the second time it was wrong. 50% success is hardly psychic... lmao

Thanks peeps!!!
RacerX and George Lynch, eh? Now you mention it, I suppose that is in there. I've never really been a big George Lynch fan though, so I can't explain that one. On the other hand, I absolutely love Paul Gilbert...

Mowlie - Your version of 'Love Thing' is soooo much better than mine. I take it you mic up your amp when you record? That's how you get that harmonic feedback. Using a J-Station means I can't get those coz there's no speakers. Your tone was just right! 'Blowout' needs finishing - awesome riffage. How long you been playing? I need to practice more...

I just uploaded yet another track to my Soundclick. I'm on fire today!!! Or yesterday, I guess. Technically...
Anyways - it's called 'Funk Off!'. It's a kind of jazz/fusion type thing that I threw together. I really can't play that style of music, as you'll hear (really selling it to you here... lol), but it's fun trying and this song has a killer groove. So I'm good at drum programming at least... lol
masterpick - Thanks dude! I'm glad you like it.

Mowlie - Oh, well that's not so bad then. You've been playing for sixteen years, which is over three times the amount of time I have. That's slightly relieving... lol. But I still need to practice more!!!! hehe

kevt03 - That's a major 6add4 chord. So, if the 1 was A, it would be A6add4. The fact that it has no fifth doesn't matter because the fifth isn't a functional note in a chord. Unless it's altered...
Thanks to everybody that checked out my stuff!!!

Clarky - What's wrong with that name? Since it was written as "1, 3, 4, 6" I took it to mean that 1 = the root. Or are we going to get into this "11 = 4 if there's no 7" argument again? lmao... Regarding 'Baker Street', the dude that played that solo came into ACM yesterday to talk about working as a session player. He also played that riff at the beginning of George Michael's 'Faith'. Rich man...
