First: I'm really jazzed about the site. Great lay-out and a great opportunity to talk to mr. Satriani. Second: mr. Satriani, when will you be touring in Holland? Third: As I am a guitar addict, and I am always trying to learn new secrets, can I post questions here about musical technical stuff? Fourth: I am adicted to playing scales. Should I be hospitalized and have my brain checked? Fifth: A Merry Christmass and a Happy New Year to you all!

Am I the only one who is curious about what the outcome would be if Joe would team up with Stanley Clark? Eventhough Stu Ham ruled the lower frequencies in San Fransisco, I still think that Stanley Clark has a league of his own and has a very warped musical mind...

Hello everybody! Could I please get a vote for "CARLOS SANTANA SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED ON T.V. OR RADIO ANYMORE UNTILL HE LEARNS TO PLAY SOMETHING NEW"? Can anybody explain to me how a chromatic scale fits in a jazz-improvisation?

MICHELLE: Thanks for your support on Stanley Clark!

All the best!!!

Invigor: Tough luck man with your guitar. As long as you will treat it with respect and NOT smash it like some spoiled brats on t.v. do in their stupid musical videos just to become more popular (like sk8ter boi for example)! Man I really can't stand people who destroy intruments! There are people that can't afford a good instrument and some just destroy them. Off with their F*****G fingers I say!!! I had to save a long time to buy my guitars...so I can get very pissed off about those issues!

Man, If my landlord (I don't have though, I am my own...) would treat me that way, I would terrorize him with everything I got! Man, he's an old fart, he won't remember shit when he gets too busy dealing with other stuff. he'd probably forget all about who you are when he has to deal with 20 towtruck drivers ringing his doorbell every single night till X-Mass, and that would just be the beginning... Good luck, nobody should mess with your kids!!! (I would first read the lease very carefully though..)

Mowlie_2000: I did see that video. I realy can't understand people like that. Well, it's Slash so you might expect anything from him... I mean, I treat my guitars (an Ibanez rg and an Ibanez J-Custom <-one of a kind/hand crafted) like they are my penis... Not just because they were expensive but simply because they are instruments. Joe is still playing guitars on stage that are more than 10 years old...I have never seen him destroy one...(and I hope I never will)..

Just one week more and I can go home again!!! Home with my Girlfriend and my guitars! I've been playing my classical guitar for a while now, and I have to say that it is the best exercise you can get. When you play your electrical after that one, man you're soooooo much faster. Everything goes much smoother...! I can recommend it to everyone. Builds up a lot of strength in your fingers, as well as callus. Especially when you try to make the effects like overtones/harmonics, tapping etc., it goes really easy after practicing on a classical guitar (nylon strings!!!).

CHRISTMASS LIST: A big juicy kiss from my girlfriend and a bearhug. Plus a lot of babyclothes for our first child that will be born in May/June (I'm sooooo proud of that...). And my party on the 25th that I throw for my friends, whom I haven't seen in three years, to be a great succes! And, for the rest of the world to feel as happy as I do! That's all!

IT'S STU NOT BOO:Could you please explain to me what LOL means? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone... As you all must be ibanez lovers like me i got a grief i want to get off my chest! I bought a J-custom a while ago. It was pretty expensive as there's only one made. It has all the goodies that you want from a guitar. It's hand made, has serialnumber 001 and has a proof of authenticity. It is gold-amber-sunburst and very light with a prestige-neck. Now, i was promised that there was only one made, but to my akward surprise, i saw the same one in the same store I bought mine! Appearently, mine was made for the US-market, while the other one was made for the Asian market. At least, so they say. Both are demo guitars and not taken into production because of the high manufacturingcosts. Has anybody ever heard of something like this??? This kinda ruined my playing pleasure of this guitar and to be honest, I haven't been playing it since I found out about the other one...

Do the Stu: Thanks dude! You're right you know...but i felt kinda screwed because i worked very hard to be able to pay it. And mine is the only one with a certificate...

Jbblaze1: I have to say that it is a beautiful and powerful instrument. I just played it again and it really feels like controling a blazing fire with your hands... the prestige neck, the dimarzio pick-ups...

THANKS DUDES! (got my priorities straight again...)
