Hi everyone!!!!

You can't even imagine how happy I am to be here! :)))) After one month of intensive studying I'm finally on holidays! :) Now I have time to play around with my new Ibanez acoustic-electric and to feel the sound of my JS again, and to come here and talk2talk2joers again! I waited so much for this feeling! :)

Trutina- Welcome back, man! :) I was a bit worried so I used this technologically advanced search engine and I found you! Glad your back, man! Keep jamming! :)

Dave- Some friends of mine put piri-piri on my dinner a few days ago and I thought "If Dave was here he'd eat this..." But I couldn't eat it... I hate spicy food... :p (I think I got some verbs wrong... I don't know... God, I can't even write in English now! Aaarrggg!)

Well, Alexandre told me today about Bill... so I had to come here to show all my support to him and Miranda... I know words have little meaning, and I know I'm not coming here often, so this was quite a shock and I don't really know what to say right now...

Trutina- I know you'll read this man! You have to! You were a fighter since we started the CD project! You fought for all of us to make it happen, man!! So now that you showed us that you can fight, we all know you'll keep fighting now! And you'll wake up and read our posts and start posting again! It's as simple as that! Man, I'm not much of a religious person myself as well, but I'll surely be praying for you! And if all our prayers get to Him, God won't dare to let you go like this! Not a person like you, man! See you soon!

Miranda- Thanks a lot for posting... I can't imagine how hard these moments must be for you... we're all hoping that everything will end up well and, if hoping can move mountains, we all here can surely move one!

Gee, man! You scared me a lot! So, you've been recharging, I can see! :) Well, you sure deserved some rest, but this time you took it too literally! SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK! Loved your first post! First I couldn't believe I was reading it, then it made me really happy, and then I couldn't stop laughing! lol! Man, I don't care if there's love in space, I just know Bill McKim is right here on earth and ready to rock!

So how're you doing with the "re-learning how to walk" thing? I've done that some times, cuz I seem to forget it everytime I drink too much... ;p

Just got the G3 DVD live in denver, The SV DVD Live in Astoria London and both Vai's and Satch's anthologies! I'm now extremely happy and also with no money left! :)

It was my 20th birthday on the 19th! I'm not a teen anymore... I'm getting old... now I've got white hairs appearing, hard beard and pubic hair...

Appart from that everything's normal! Next day I wrote my first song with my new acoustic-electric to a friend of mine who asked me to record something for a track 0 of his home-made hip-hop album. It's not a big thing (none of my songs is, actually...) but I really liked the sound of the guitar! It's an Ibanez Talman blue sunburst. BE-AU-TI-FUL! :) One day I'll post it on my IUMA, but I'll have to wait 'till my friend finishes the album, cause it's still a secret for most of my friends...

I finally got a few minutes to come here and say HI to everyone! :)

I've been studying biostatistics... I've got an exam on Wednesday... it sucks... and it's scary to study from a book that has so many pages you can hardly grab it with one hand... :( I JUST WANT TO BE A MARINE BIOLOGIST!!!!! (ok, I know I'll need statistics a lot... but it still sucks...)

I have two new tunes I did with my Ibanez Talman acoustic-electric (though 80% improvised...)... but IUMA is not accepting uploads... I'm really impressed on how it sounds for the money it costs! :)

JESUS I MISS THIS PLACE A LOT!

How's everybody? I just had an exam today, and it's just the first of my final exams this year... now it's nonstop 'till 6th of July... :(

I picked up my guitar this afternoon and I felt a bit sad... I miss having lessons and composing and coming here to ask for tips and hints... My playing is so poor... it lacks a load of salt and pepper... I NEED LESSONS!!! But I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THEM!!!! AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! My fingers are slow, I almost only improvise on the minor pentatonic and I can't make a decent chord progression! I suck!

Ok... now that I emptied all my bad feelings about me I shall continue...

trutina- Hi there! Thanks for asking for me! When Alexandre told me you asked for me I really wanted to come here and say hi to everyone... but...once again... no time... this isn't my computer, so I rarely have access to it... :( But finally today I have some time to rest! :) Tomorow I'll start studying for my next exam.... :( Any news? I practically don't have internet now, because my dad is on the computer 24/7... But now he is having dinner (and I will be late) so I thougt I'd come here and give you all a BIG HELLO!! I'm having a lot of trouble finding time to play guitar... I haven't composed anything in months... I'm really going down... I hope when I graduate I'll have more time... but that's more than a year from now... Once in a while I pick up my guitar and improvise some blues, cuz I find out that I've forgotten almost all of Joe's licks I knew....

But despite all this sadness, I'm really happy to post here again! :)

I just finished copying Steve Vai's 10 hour guitar workout (from guitar world magazine 1991) from a few dirty sheets to GuitarPro... It's time to get back into shape and clean some dust out of my JS900... I'll try and put it at mysongbook.com, if they allow me to (if I put it as a composition and not as an exercise, maybe, because of all the copyright issues...), so that no one else needs to spend an afternoon copying it note-by-note from a poor quality scan where you can't figure out some of the numbers in the tab...

Joe - after the show here in Lisbon, I'll pick you up at the back door, just for some beer drinking and guitar signing, ok? (hey! stop laughing! I can dream, can't I? I can't?! Oh... ok...)

GREAT CONCERT IN LISBON, JOE!!!

Finally I got to watch Joe live, and it was awesome! A dream come true! Wooooohoooo!!!

I'm glad you played "Always with me", with other bands like Mastodon, Stone sour or Metallica there, I was thinking you'd go for something heavier.

Of what I saw there on the crowd, everyone went crazy with the show and "Crowd Chant" really worked!

Alexandre - não nos encontrámos, infelizmente, a confusão lá à frente era muita... mas o Joe viu-nos lá de cima e sabe que estivemos lá a dar-lhe apoio. :p

At this moment you're probably playing "Crowd chant" in Oporto, and if they can match the Lisbon show (which I'm sure they can), you won't be listening to me with the massive sound of the good old portuguese hospitality, but THANK YOU, anyway.
