I am much more a Star Wars fan - but I also really like Star Trek. I liked the last series ok - some of the movies weren't that great though.

I hope the movie is good. It is movie 8, meaning, it is good right? Aren't the even numbered movies better?

Captain Steve

No running with scissors then - huh?

My mom always told me not to run with scissors, knives, other sharp objects.

Wouldn't want to cut yourself - or others, would you? Or, would you? (in Homer voice).

I must have not connected the 2 quizzes together. I just got the one I posted yesterday - didn't mean to cut in on your quiz. Sorry for the duplicate post.

Has anyone tried the new

COKE BLAK beverage on the market (in selected areas only)?

If so - any good?

It apparently is Coke's response to Red Bull.

It is about $5 for a 4 pack (the bottles are about 10 oz or so each)

Just wondering

Nintendo names new video game console

'Revolution' becomes 'Wii'

LOS ANGELES - Nintendo Co. Ltd on Thursday said it has named its new video game console “Wii, which it said is pronounced “we” to emphasize that the console is for everyone.

The console up until now has been known by its code-name ”Revolution.”

“While the code-name Revolution expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer,” said spokeswoman Perrin Kaplan.

Nintendo, best known for its Game Boy portable video players, aims to gain share in the $25 billion global video game market now dominated by Sony Corp.

Microsoft Corp. launched its next-generation Xbox 360 console late last year and Sony’s new PlayStation 3 is due in November. Wii also is expected to hit store shelves later this year.

While the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony boast more power and high-definition graphics, Nintendo’s goal is to roll out a machine that appeals to a broader audience than the young males who make up the traditional console gaming market.

A key feature of the Wii is its one-handed controller that looks like a television remote control and uses motion-detection sensors that allow players to control the game by wielding it like a sword, waving it like a conductor’s baton, or swinging it like a baseball bat.

The Nursing Home Police

Charleen was a bit of a demon in her wheelchair, and loved to charge around the nursing home, taking corners on one wheel and getting up to maximum speed on the long corridors.

Because the poor woman was one sandwich short of a picnic, the other residents tolerated her, and some of them actually joined in.

One day Charleen was speeding up one corridor when a door opened and Kooky Tom stepped out with his arm outstretched. "STOP!,"he shouted in a firm voice. "Have you got a license for that thing?"

Charleen fished around in her handbag and pulled out a Kit Kat wrapper and held it up to him. OK" he said, and away Charleen sped down the hall.

As she took the corner near the TV lounge on one wheel, Weird Harold popped out in front of her and shouted "STOP! Have you got proof of insurance?"

Charleen dug into her handbag, pulled out a drink coaster and held it up to him. Harold nodded and said "Carry on, ma'am."

As Charleen neared the final corridor before the front door, Crazy Ed stepped out in front of her, stark naked, holding his "you-know-what"in his hand.

Oh, good grief," yelled Charleen, "Not the breathalyzer test again!"

Barry only has 24 hours to live

Barry returned from a doctor's visit one day and told his wife Doreen that the doctor said he only had 24 hours to live. Wiping away her tears, he asked her to make love with him. Of course she agreed and they made passionate love.

Six hours later, Barry went to her again, and said, "Honey, now I only have 18 hours left to live. Maybe we could make love again?" Doreen agreed and again they made love.

Later, Barry was getting into bed when he realized he now had only eight hours of life left. He touched Doreen's shoulder and said, "Honey? Please? Just one more time before I die."

She agreed, then afterward she rolled over and fell asleep.

Barry, however, heard the clock ticking in his head, and he tossed and turned until he was down to only four more hours. He tapped his wife on the shoulder to wake her up. "Honey, I only have four hours left! Could we...?"

His wife sat up abruptly, turned to him and said, "Listen Barry, I have to get up in the morning! You don't."

Nikki Sixx To Get Divorced

(CBS) LOS ANGELES Donna D'Errico, Playboy's Miss September 1995 and a former "Baywatch" actress, has reportedly filed for divorce from husband Nikki Sixx, the bassist for Motley Crue.

The couple was married for little more than nine years. She recently turned 38-years-old and he is 48.

It is the most recent high-profile celebrity rock star marriage bust-up following on the heels of Heather Locklear filing for divorce from Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora. Loclear, of course, was also married to Tommy Lee, of Motley Crue fame.

D'Errico's other credits include the TV show "Reno 911!" as well as the movies "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and "Kiss the Bride."

The couple separated after four years of marriage but D'Errico returned to the rocker after he completed a stint in rehab.

I am not a big fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers - but a free stream is worth it.

Some songs pretty good - others don't

Haven't been able to really listen to it (been busy).

May or may not grow on me.
