big bad moon 1889
Thanks for your 2 cents on the Vai album - I am old fashioned and like holding and reading the cd pages - you cannot do that with a download.

Delayed Coldplay Album Set for June Release
LONDON (Reuters) - Coldplay will release a long-awaited third album in June, the British rock band said on Tuesday as they announced plans to kick off their biggest world tour with U.K. gigs in London, Bolton and Glasgow.
The follow-up to the Grammy award winning "A Rush of Blood to the Head" will be welcome news to fans who have had to wait three years for the new album from a U.K. group that has also proved unusually popular in the United States.
"We've spent a long time in the studio and haven't played a gig for 18 months," guitarist Jonny Buckland said in a statement. "So we can't wait to get out on tour and play our new songs live."
The new album date will also be welcomed by investors in Coldplay's record label EMI which warned last month that sales in the year to March 31 would be lower than previously expected due to delayed releases from Coldplay and Gorillaz.

I read just about every cd i get - some more than once if I am a big fan or if there is something in it.
Years back, I would read along with the lyrics a few times so that I had each song down pat - now, I just don't have the time to do that.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and her actor husband John Stamos are officially divorced, according to court papers.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Harvey A. Silberman signed off on the family law judgment Thursday, nearly a year after the couple announced that they were seperating after five years of marriage. At the time, a publicist said the split was amicable.
The marriage is officially terminated as of Tuesday, according to the document. They have no children.

High Court Ends Death Penalty for Youths
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the Constitution forbids the execution of killers who were under 18 when they committed their crimes, ending a practice used in 19 states.
The 5-4 decision throws out the death sentences of about 70 juvenile murderers and bars states from seeking to execute minors for future crimes.
The executions, the court said, were unconstitutionally cruel.
It was the second major defeat at the high court in three years for supporters of the death penalty. Justices in 2002 banned the execution of the mentally retarded, also citing the Constitution's Eighth Amendment ban on cruel and unusual punishments.
The court had already outlawed executions for those who were 15 and younger when they committed their crimes.
Tuesday's ruling prevents states from making 16- and 17-year-olds eligible for execution.

There is a difference (praying with and praying over) - I must have misunderstood - either way it is all good - prayers are good.
I hope that you are doing at least a little better today?

Not so sure about Priest - I think it will be a while until it shows up in the discount bins.
Many fans wanted this to happen - and will support the new disc and tour.

Mr. Hanky - thechristmaspoo
Sounds interesting - more camera angles on music discs would be great - but would make it more expensive.
Looking forward to your review - good luck.

Part of the new U2 cd is pretty good, some of it really stinks - like the new Priest.
Will you give us a full review of the concert? Hope so !!
The first G3 dvd is really good - but I like the Denver one even better.

Report: Bryant, accuser reach settlement
FOXSports.com
According to an ABC News report, Kobe Bryant and the woman who accused him of sexual assault have agreed in principle to settle the civil lawsuit she filed against the Lakers star.
According to the report, Bryant and his accuser have agreed to a settlement for emotional and other injuries she said she sustained in connection with the alleged incident. Bryant has admitted having sex with the woman, but insisted it was consensual.
Sources told ABC News the two parties will meet this week to work out details of the settlement, which could then be signed as early as the end of the week.
Bryant had been scheduled to give a deposition in the case Friday, but it was postponed, leading to speculation that a settlement was in the works.
Prosecutors dropped the sexual assault charge against Bryant last September because, they say, the alleged victim had decided not to testify.
After the criminal charges were dropped, Bryant issued an apology where he said, "I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter."
