I ordered from Sony too - I haven't received it yet.
I went to the web site and it hasn't shipped yet.
When I ordered it - the site stated it would be shipped to arrive on the release date.

Joe & everyone else:
I used to play acoustic guitar years ago, and am looking to purchase a good / mid-priced electric guitar and amp.
What would you recommend for both.
Thanks

Prince is a great musician.
My wife just bought tickets for us to see him in Concert when he comes to the Chicago area in a few months.
She has been wanting to see him for years - and we kept missing out on tickets.

Tastey
the tickets were $89.90 each, plus all of those add ons that Ticketmaster applies.
They are not ground floor tickets - they are on the first level - about 12 rows back

Many concert prices are just plan nuts. Don't get me wrong, the Stones and McCartney would be great to see in concert, but well over a $100 is just wrong.
I saw Van Halen and Vince Neil about 9 years ago at an outside venue and paid $35 a ticket.

Van Halen it looks like will be with Sammy.
Sammy is opening another location of his cantina over a 3 day weekend. The last day he is scheduled to play with "his friends"

Ticket prices are nuts. Ticketmaster has all sorts of fees. Then you need to pay for parking when you get to the venue, not to mention what a beer costs.
I saw INXS 8 years ago in Chicago for $28 a ticket - a deal in comparison.

Question
What is Planet Us? I have heard/read that Joe was a part of it and no longer is.
What happened? It would have been one hell of a record with Haga, Michael Anthony and the guys from Journey.

Speaking of funeral songs, what is the value of a human life?
Here is an excerpt from the NY Times.
Economists for government agencies use formulas to determine the "cost" of a human life in monetary terms, employing a cost-benefit analysis to determine how much money should be spent on different government programs including everything from road improvements to the removal of arsenic from drinking water.
Life has become a formula taught in high school algebra class.

GODGUNSGUITARS
It is strange, if you die, through no fault of your own (auto accident, work accident, plane crash), an economist is brought in to figure out who much you are worth.
Then the Defendant hires their own economist to put forth a lower figure, since you aren't worth "that much!"

Got this today - thought it was amusing . . .
The Rolling Stones are getting a bit long in the tooth these days, although that hasn't stopped them from touring. However, now that Mick, Keith and Charlie are all in their 60s, they might want to consider changing the name of the band and re-tooling a few of their best songs....
The Top Songs by the Rolling Bones
5> You Can't Always Shit When You Want
4> Gimme Seltzer
3> Waiting on a Lung
2> Be a Burden
and the Number 1 Song by the Rolling Bones...
1> (I Can't Get No) Rascal Traction
