HI JOE ! now that i´m a pretty fresh part of this community, i wanna tell you that my one and only concert with you in 1993, NEU-ISENBURG, GERMANY, is still present in my mind. not really because of your sonic performance which blew me away - no - i got some sort of mindprints concerning your FACIAL EXPRESSION while you were playing. even a DEAF guy would have been able to get a ticket in your sonic world. that was really amazing to watch your face as an optical converter. every power-chord, every fiddling, bending, each flageolet, glissando or what ever was visible in your face ! you´re really connected to each single tone.

what´s left to say ? hope you´re keep goin´with your excellent songwriting, your ideas and inspiration. and never be afraid to make a thing sound too SIMPLE!´cause even my son KORBINIAN, 3 1/2, is gettin´into it !! thanks for all you´ve done, volker.

A-GAIN TO JOE. what about a G3 with nuno and dweezil as a tribute to papa frank´s 10th day-of-death this year ???????? the ENSEMBLE MODERN, FRANKFURT, which were recording and performing YELLOW SHARK with frank and for which i´m working as an audio engineer, will perform in L.A. on dec.6th at the ZAPPA FESTIVAL !! the guys might love it - don´t you think & do so:-) ? well i don´t know how familiar you are with the two guys, but it definitely would be (not only) my favourite line up to gain for. O.K. - i admit - STEVE could be introduced as special guest this night to make an extraordinary G4-extension gig... so - any plans for the festival ??
