It's good to finally see some update on the site. Of course with all of the concerts you give, we can forgive that. I was actually disappointed this september as you finally came back to Quebec area and were the opening act for Dream Theater. I don't have anything against them but let's just say that driving from Montreal to Quebec to see and hear the new music from the new album and finally seeing you play for an hour with only 2 songs from your new album kind of left me on my appetite. Oh well, hope you will be back someday and this time, just by yourself.

The live technique is quite simple. First you have to mute the note. This means, use your right hand (the pick hand) and hit any string between the two pick ups but while your thumb is slightly touching the string. This will create a harmonic sound. (You have to try a few areas between the pickups before you get comfortable with this). Once you get the harmonic, use your left hand to bring your whammy bar up (meaning, increase the note by a full 5-6 tones)

If anybody needs any information concerning the live tribute at the hard rock Cafe in Montreal, feel free to email me at hopeful@videotron.ca
Hope to see you there. (Its a good place to see a few cool JS guitars)
P.S., thanks Joe for the great inspiration you bring us.

Usually, the third string from the bottom and the second string right in the middle are the easiest and nicest sounding harmonics which gives you that screaming sound like in surfing with the alien. I have a JS1. It is basically like the JS1000 except for the multi radius neck and also, the JS1 has the edge system rather than the LO PRO edge system. With the edge system, you can actually go an extra 1-2 step up in the screaming. (Not to mistake with the JS100)

To all, if you are trying to get G3 tickets for very good seats, head to www.ebay.com and in the search, put in satriani and press search. Once the pages are up, check mark the "in title and description" and press search again. You will find that there are tons of G3 tickets for sale all over the states and Canada.

Hey everyone, has anyone actually gotten the platinum package. I know all shows are different but what can I expect? Do we get to go onstage for the sound check? Is there enough time to actually talk to Joe? Just wondering as I am meeting him April 13th and it would be good to know what to expect.
P.S., everyone in Montreal, don't forget, Steve Vai is at the Metropolis on April 1st. Get your tickets.

Hey Joe, great show in Montreal. By the way, there is more info about the business proposal. There are many more ideas that we haven't had the chance to discuss with you. Give us a buzz and I will be able to provide you all of the details.
Thanks
Jon and Martine

Well I thought the news was going to be the revealing of the new guitar but I guess this will do. A website update would probably be something to think about in the future. The flash animation was good for the welcome page but the main site needs to be changed. Anyways, great news and hope to be in the contest.....
