Still getting used to the new CD Joe. It has really lifted my spirits lately. I'm glad I have your music to make me smile when it seems that is the last thing I'd want to do. Can't wait to see you! --Sheila

[Clarky,]

I've always been here, just not so vocal:) hahaha! I know, strange for the "bubbly one." Thanks for the congrats! Help me find a guitarist to play at my wedding! I thought about asking Matt, he lives down in capo Beach, I think. I'll be getting married in San Clemente. Who knows....Calgon, take me away!

Fretslayer, thanks for the info! I'll totally check the guy out. Yes, I am serious and in fact, having a guitarist play, is one thing about my wedding day that I will not compromise on. Thank God I'm marrying someone who loves Joe's music and understands how important this is to me. I think I can get away with a compilation of Joe's slow songs on a burned cd so that our guests can hear his wonderful and amazing music while they are being seated. So many details, but this will be awesome!

Ah yes, now I remember why I don't come in here that often anymore. Just like the old times way back when this website started up.

Kell: thanks for the info, I will definately check him out.

I'm thinking about doing something totally different though...at the chaple where I'll be getting married is a kick ass sound system and huge screen at the front. I'm thinking of getting a video of Joe playing Always With Me, Always With you, and have that playing as I walk down the aisle. After all, there is no way that Joe can be there himself to play, so this is the best deal!

It would be cool though, to have a video of Joe playing that wasn't live. I have the LISF but I don't want all us fans screaming in the background. However, that would be funny! hahaha!

Any suggestions anyone? I'm up for it.....and CLARKY.....lego my ego dude!

JS_JS: Godfather 1.....yea........you must be a Reservoir Dogs fan too, I'm guessing? "Are you cool? I am cool"

Good Morning T2J!

ovation1: Thanks for the info, I totally appreciate it!

JS_JS: Well, I got my nickname from my dad. He was the kind of man that had a nickname for everyone he met. He never nicknamed anyone in a negative way. When I was a baby, I used to blow spit bubbles. I know, gross, but it's what I did. Therefore, he named me Bubbles. The name has stuck with me ever since. I remember going to my first dance in Jr. High and him chaperoning, and at one point yelled across the dance floor, "hey Bubbles!" I'll never forget that...at the time, it truly mortified me, but as time went by, I loved him for that. Especially now, that he is gone.

I do play laser tag with my kids, but I doubt it was me, I'm out here in AZ.

Alright JS_JS, as for Reservoir Dogs, you gotta check it out! Here's a little run down of what it's all about: "Four perfect killers. One perfect crime. Critically acclaimed for its raw power and breathtaking ferocity, it's the brilliant (an understatement in my opinion) American gangster movie classic from writer-director Quentin Tarantino. They were perfect strangers, assembled to pull off the perfect crime. Then their simple robbery explodes into a bloody ambush, and the ruthless killers realize one of them is a police informer. But which one?" the wonderfully talented Steve Buscemi stars as Mr. Pink, my favorite character by far. One of my favorite parts is when he explains his beliefs behind what he feels is the archiac practice of tipping waitresses! It's classic! Others that star in the film are: Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Lawrence Tierney and Michael Madsen.

"I need you cool.......Are you cool?...........Mr. Pink: I am Cool!

Have fun and let me know when you see it! I recommend the 10th Anniversary Special Edition DVD 2-Disc Set. The special features that this DVD set has to offer are any fans dream!

Alright, now that I KNOW I am in the wrong business! HA! (Should have gone into marketing for crime) just kidding....

Have a great day everyone! 9 more days till my birthday!!!!

-II'll take a cheeseburger Royal... Sheila

Ahhhh Clarky, I couldn't agree with you more, the good ol' days! The days of "Danny" right? hahaha!

Alright, who's getting sarcastic about Eric Sardinas? That guy rocks.....however, his latest CD, in my humble opinion, is not as good as the first two.

Joe....I almost made a big boo-boo with Johnette from Concrete Blonde and it involved you! hahaha!

Bring back the good ol' days for G-3!

---Sheila oh yea, one more thing... happy day after my birthday to me! Whoa!

Retail slut is another great place and they have killer deals! I remember when my sister and I along with my two little girls went into that place and the guy behind the counter gave my little ones "Retail Slut" stickers. Had to explain that word....

Oh yea and then there's Barclay's Hope...."Items for a Princess" hahaah!

I love Hollywood!

Flagg: I remember the day KNAC went off the air! I was in my car driving to God knows where and heard the last words of was what was in my opinion, the best radio station of all! I cried. And then I remember, as soon as the moment of silence was over on came this mariachi mexican type of music! Freaked me out! I don't think I have been the same ever since. HA! KLOS tried to make up for KNAC going off the air by adding some heavier stuff to their "classic rock." that didn't last too long. "Where have all the good times gone?" J. Elton.

Fretslayer: Bad ass songs. :)

Kell: Yea! We will be there tonight. We are driving from up here in Tempe right after my middle schooler gets out of school! The only bummer is that by the time I called the guitar Shop the list was already filled up for the autograph meet and greet, so we will not be able to get inside. We are still coming down though.....Joe will be playing out in the parking lot at around 7pm. I figure that I'll make a picnic dinner with some subs and stuff and we'll sit out on the bed of Carl's (my fiance's) Chevy truck and eat and listen! Chelsea, my middle schooler, is bummed that we won't be able to get her in to get her other guitar signed, but we are gonna bring it anyways and hope for the best:) Maybe we'll see ya there! I take it you got on the list? We were told that most people who went into the shop got on the list and that the list was limited to only 250. You must have been one of the lucky 250????? Congrats to you, if you were!

Just got done listening to Joe on the air with KDKB! Great interview! I love listening to interviews where the host actually KNOWS about Joe and his music and it's not rehearsed! Joe played (not in order) If I Could Fly, Hands in the Air, Satch Boogie and Aways With Me, Always With You. I especially liked the the little "off the top of Joe's head" sounds of Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Rolling Stones and N'Sync! Dude.....all Joe did for the N'Sync thingy was a big long ol' "Waaaaaaaaaah." PERFECT! hahahahaha! Joe also said that in his CD player lately has been Incubus and The Deftones. The one CD that most would be surprised to find out that he listens to was, "Cold Play." The last 2 CD's especially. He said that he switches back and forth from Deftones to Cold Play. Interesting. :) Well there you have it folks, Sheila's little review of the radio interview here in Phoenix. There was more.....I'm just DONE. hahahahaha!

Kell: I'll tell ya something girlie...my two daughters (10 and 11) have both been listening to Joe's music since they were in the womb! I kid you not when I say that! I had Joe's music in the room with me in Germany while giving birth to Chelsea and then 11 months later when I gave birth to Stephanie. they have grown up listening to Joe all their lives and it's had a great impact on them. they love other music too.....but you'll find no N'Sync or Brittany here.....only because they appreciate more of a "musician" style. It's WONDERFUL that your son knows Joe's music when he hears it. You know, instead of sending my girls into dreamland with nursery rhymes and such, I compiled a tape and then later a CD of all of Joe's slower stuff for them to go off into dreamland listening to. Now, they can spot his music (and AC/DC....hahahahaha) a mile away. you should have seen them at the G-3 show last year.....they were pissed they couldn't see Joe well enough and we were in the 3rd row!

Fretslayer: It was great!!!!! you know, Joe said that was the first time they played it live and it was awesome! I swear....If I Could Fly is, in my opinion, the "Summer Song" of 2004!!!!

Satchblues: Thanks for the review man! I'll be looking for the iPod on EBAY! Just kidding! I bet you'll never get rid of it!

Hey everyone, hi Joe!

Well it's been 4 whole days and not one cigarette....I'm dyin' over here. I'd be interested in any advice (other than some f*ckin' 12 step program) from anyone who is in the same boat or understands. I started smoking in 7th grade and then quit when I had my kids (11 and 12 years ago) and have been smoking close to a pack a day ever since 1995. The cravings come and go, but the nights are what kill me....I can't sleep. Joe's music has helped the anxiety......but I'm still going through it.....talked to the doctor today and he gasped when I told him I quit over the weekend! hahaha! Said...."Sheila, you need to gradually stop." I said......naw, I'm a black and white kinda person, I just quit! hahaha! Now he's suggesting me to take puffs every so often if I need them.

Soooooooo, anyone have any advice to give? The kind of advice where you know what you are talking about? Thanks!

Oh yea, one more thing.......I didn't get a chance to rad all the posts since my last visit......but Religion sux! It's all about personal relationship. That's all:) Peace and have a great day!

Sheila
