Oh, by the way everyone, incase you haven't heard (light smell of satire fills room) we're selecting the titles for the Talk2Joe Cd so everyone go to www.talk2joe.com, check out our list of possible choices, and email your top five to dave@talk2joe.com so we can narrow them down a little. (someone sprays Ozium and removes the faint smell formerly known as satire). Speaking of satire, a little Shakespeare quote. "Satire: Wit larded with malice." I told you those guys were cynical! No sense of humor at all. Probably would have hated Python. We should burn his books in protest!

Austin: No not yet I'm afraid, but I didn't order it the day it came out. It was over a week ago though, but I also live in the middle of nowhere so I'm sure it's on it's way. I plan to post a review the moment I listen to it.

Artanis I: No I haven't seen it but it sounds hilarious.
Dream Car? GT-40. Above all else. After that, perhaps a Type 57C Bugatti. More modern, probably a Calloway built Z06. The list goes on and on, but it definately doesn't include my truck.

r6rocker: Yeah we are all too cynical. And Shakepeare would have slapped 'em around a little for burning I'm sure. lol

Has everyone picked their Top Five Favorite Titles For The T2J CD Yet? If not, then you should, because it's a good thing. Worth at least 2 karmic points and more if one of you favorites ends up being the actual title.
I need some karmic points as I'm getting ready for another blind date of sorts. I should turn to my quotes for help for my apprehension. "Better to be despised for too anxious apprehensions, than to be ruined by too confident a security." Burke Hmmm. Not sure I can apply that one very well. How does one prepare for such a potential problem. Maybe I'll wear a helmet. Yeah, that might work. lol
Wish me luck.

death cube K: I'm on the case, ever hopeful.
plum loco: I can't excuse my country for a lot of what you said, but as far as the dope thing goes, they're probably scared we will all move up to Canada to smoke your dope! You guys had better have a big stash, and a lot of Doritos. I can see it now, "Oh dear, look out! The pot heads are coming, the pot heads are coming!" You guys have IHOP's up there right? I'm loading the truck now.

Awesome day outside, perfect for the race. There's only one time a year when Louisville's a pretty cool place to be and that's Derby time. A friend of mine owns a Limo service and he's booked all 87 Limo's this week. Not too shabby. We closed early today and were slamming. People love to ride on Derby weekend. Not sure why, way too much traffic and too many out of towners. Makes it a little more dangerous. I'll stick with four wheels this weekend I believe. A big derby tradition, incase you guys didn't know, is to go to www.talk2joe.com and pic your five favorite titles and email them to PhryDom. Well, it's not really big, and it's not really a tradition, but you should do it anyway. The horses will know you're thinking about them and I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

Anything to excess is bad. No matter what it is. Be it salt, beer, marijuana, relegion, whole wheat bread, twinkies, or vitamins. The secret of life is a balance of all things. Good and evil. Healthy on non-healthy. Birth and death. That's how it works. That's why my name is trutina.

Wow, this place has been dead for a couple of days. What's up with that?

OK, title selection suggestions are officially closed. A great big thank you to PhryDom for tracking the top fives. I've sent Jon the list of four possibilites for the poll (there was a four way tie for 5th) and hopefully in a few days he'll have the poll up for us. Thanks Jon. And thanks to everyone for their suggestions and lists.
Today, a quote about titles, but not those kinds of titles: "A fool, indeed, has great need of a title, it teaches men to call him count or duke, and to forget his proper name of fool." Crowne

alexandrecaetano: A big launch party would be awesome, I'd love to meet all of these guys but I think we're scattered too far apart. I think the closest contributor to me is Chris, and he's still 800 miles away. Good idea though.
Austin: Man, check out the awesome play by play reviews man. I would ask you to do one on a song of mine, but it would be like, "Well, after the first 10 seconds, the whole thing just goes to shit. There was an instant at 1:56 or so, where it actually sounded like you were in key. Other than that, total garbage." lol

michelle: That's too funny. You and Yamboy layin' it down like dat.
Artanis I: Thanks for putting that up, it's sure to waste many hours of precious time tomorrow at work lol
Austin: No dude, it's not "too much" it's great. Normally, and I'm just as guilty as anyone, says, "Hey, great song, liked it a lot." or whatever, but you make precise explanations about the most important thing: Why you like the song.

greg m: The coolest thing about Gilmour's main Strat is that the serial number is 00001! Fender doesn't run a sequential numbering system, but it's still damn cool.

Austin: Can't someone just remove that no talent little bitch's larynx? I mean it's not like she sings anyway, so why do we have to listen to her wonderful views of life and work when she talks? Her videos are great on mute though lol

Man, I'm really pumped on this project now. What a day! Poll's up, and a link in the news section, and I'm getting a new axe! A few days ago death cube K posted a link to a JS6 (thank you very much btw) on ebay that I just bought. Can't wait to get it here. Anyone else here have any hardtail JS's?

Happy 500 to me! I must talk too much and not nearly enough to the man himself so.....
Joe: You know, as a regular poster on this site, it's easy to get caught up in conversations and forget why we're all here. To pay tribute to you and the wonderous music you have given for us. We truly appreciate you having this website for us to come to and rant about all things music or not. There's a feeling of community here that I think is quite rare in most forums. All of us, brought together because of you. I think that spirit is going to be very well represented on the T2J CD. It's gonna rock. I can't wait for you to hear it. Thanks to you, we're gonna do a little good for the American Red Cross. Thanks man.
