r6rocker: Great story man, that guy was dedicated to the tune. I rode a new Kawasaki ZX636 recently and it's awesome. It's power comes on at a lot lower rpms than any 600 I've ever ridden. It's unreal, you'd swear you were on a 750.

Ovation: Oh yeah, gotta love the dental assistants. And by the way, I live about 20 minutes from the Early Times, Jim Beam and Maker's Mark distilleries (sp?) and I still drink Canadian Whiskey for some reason. Crown Royal is the nectar of the gods for me lol

Prog X: Holy shit man, long time no see! Come around here a little more often.

PhryDom: You wouldn't believe how spoiled my dog is. I have a room for him that separates my house from the garage that is is "dog house". He has a ceiling fan, a floor fan and a radiator for heat in winter. Not to mention his own swimming pool in the back yard. Every time I cook anything he gets hooked up too. He's a happy dog indeed.

Ovation: I used to work for a machine shop that sharpened the blades for one of the machines at the Early Times distillery. When you get about a mile away from their compound you can smell the most horrid odor. It's truly awful. I don't know how those people that work there can stand it. But it tastes good so I guess you gotta sacrifice.

OME: Thanks man, I'll try to find that cd somewhere, sounds interesting.

Alexandre: No probs man, it's cool. I look forward to hearing it.

Clarky: And all this time I thought you were Steve Vai and now you're Avarice? LOL It's ok, some of us here have faith in ya man.

Ovation: Yeah, the next time you enjoy a nice glass of bourbon, make a toast to the folks that have to smell that shit all day, they deserve it!

Clarky: Oh right, I forgot. Yayo is Steve Vai lol

My Les Paul is named Leslie. I know, I have no imagination.

Prog X: Cool man, it hasn't been the same without ya.

death cube K: Cool new links section, and on that Universe on ebay, it kinda makes me nervous that the guy didn't "notice" the extra string lol. He's gotta be kidding. Still sounds like a deal though.

Prog X: I'd probably call them "This One", "That One", and "The Other One", but I lack imagination.

Clarky, OME, Matt and Migupais: I still need your addresses, so send me an email with them when you get a chance. Also, All T2J CD Contributors: I'm still waiting on half of you for payment. Don't make me send out my collector Guido! lol

You guys all rock! Thanks for the support with getting Joe and Mick's attention. Keep it up, it just might work!

Quote of the day: "He that never changed any of his opinions never corrected any of his mistakes, and he who was never wise enough to find out any mistakes in himself will not be charitable enough to excuse what he reckons mistakes in others." I think I've used that one before, but it seemed fitting.

JOE: Have Mick contact me!!!!

PLEASE!!!!

Bahumit12: Great song, and no prob on the mix-up. With my nickname I've ran into that a lot. Trutina = balance.

OCPS470: Oh yes, everything is quite well down there. No recent departures lol.

r6rocker: That sucks man, first time buyers can be real skittish and want to bail on you. The right people will come along though, hang in there.

AVARICE: "....an asshole like a bullet wound." and "intrumental b-side." LMFAO! Those are instant classics man! Thanks, I needed a good laugh this morning.

Clarky: I completely see what you are saying about playing slower stuff with emotion. If you've heard my music, you know I don't really play fast, or at least not very often, but I never play really slow. Generally rolling along in the middle of the rpm range in third gear. Anyway, when I try to play slow, it give me too much time to fuck up I guess and it just sounds awful. Whenever I play faster, up to a certain glass ceiling, I don't get that problem.

speed noun; swiftness of motion; rate of progress; velocity Speed does not equal fast or slow, simply the measure of velocity to indicate either.

Quotes of the day, then and now:

"The firm, the enduring, the simple, and the modest are near to virtue." Confucius

"The meek shall inherit shit." David Lee Roth

JOE! Have Mick email, call, fax, send a letter or even stop on by my house soon please!!!!

Plum Loco: Man, I'm really digging that cover of Clouds Race Across the Sky. I've listened to it several times and like it more and more each listen. Great stuff, great tone. Very very nice.

SupaaDave: There's a possibility of me making up for that show, but I'm not sure at the moment. Hopefully all will work out and the three of us can hook up for a beer or two.

Clarky: Thanks for saying that about my playing. I do tend to go for the less is more routine rather than laying it all out there. I mean my playing vocabulary is quite limited so why use the whole thing up in 8 measures when I can spread it out some, right?

death cube K: I think Roth's new album is all covers. Was the song you heard Vegas style Dave or some other new abomination?

I wrote and recorded two new tunes today. One is called Recycled and has some ideas from previous songs and the other is called Mindless that I wrote in honor of the mindless debate. Unfortunately I can't upload them on my iuma yet because the servers are down. Maybe tomorrow. And if anyone listens to Mindless, please remember it was a joke.

Ovation: New tunes still aren't up yet, iuma's doing some sort of server maintenance so it's been down all weekend. I did another song today. Trying to improve my low-speed accuracy, it's getting a little better. This time I had a muse for the tune though, so maybe that's the difference. Anyway, I'll post a shameless plug when they're all up.

Clarky: I have a real hard time changing tempo with my picking hand when playing leads for some reason. It's hard for me to go back and forth between high and low speeds between measures for some reason. Some sort of mental block I think. Any suggestions?

Mr Nick: That beer quote is so true. For the most part anyways. If it isn't water, then it's piss. lol I'll leave the beer brewing to the Germans, Irish and English.

anibur: You keep finding the coolest interviews, thanks for posting them. Cool stuff.

PhryDom: We'll get it all sorted I'm sure lol

Wow! Only 47 posts since mine last night! No wonder Joe hasn't been coming around, this place has been a ghost town. Where the hell is everyone? Summer vacations? Yardwork? Home improvements? Scurvy from a lack of fresh fruit? In jail for talking shit to your food? Come on people, if we're gonna get Joe back in here we gotta get those hits up!

Quito: Not only is it scary that someone bought that, but that multiple people bid on it? What's the world coming to?

Narface: Run to another country, if it's close. If not, steal one of those Nissans you're always posting pics of and drive there lol

r6rocker: Blasphemy! Crown Royal Rules! I'll admit it's not hardcore like Jack Daniels (which tastes like the charcoal they use to filter it with if you ask me) but for me it's it and that's that lol

Master Yoda: Those beers can't be the best we have to offer. Life's too short to drink shitty beer. Actually, there are a few micro-breweries in my area that have some pretty damn good product. I've taken it upon myself to test them all and compare. It takes many visits though because I want to make sure they are consistant. I take my testing very seriously!

Matt: As long as you aren't running around with an anal probe all is fine with me.

Mr. Nick: I didn't realize that was from Python. You've really got me scratching my head now. I have the entire television series on dvd as well as all the films. Guess I need to do some research.

Tone Capone: The great thing about shine is that if you run out of gas, you can put it in your lawn mower (providing the engine's compression ratio is low enough). And not to worry, I haven't given up hope on the cd project. I'm still excited and ready to go. Just need a little info from the man and we'll be set. How's the GNX3? Starting to get it figured out yet? And those are some smokin deals on those guitars.

Clarky; Thanks man, I'll give it a shot. Sooner or later I'll get it done.

death cube K: "Candle Wax Erotica For The Elderly", I'm telling ya, you just have to go with that one. If it doesn't fit, write a song for it. If you don't I will lol

Gourrey: Joe says the Live in San Francisco dvd is the closest thing he'd do to an instructional video. I guess you'll just have to pause it a lot.

Gammamute: Pop Death Metal? That's pretty funny. Slayer isn't for everyone but I never thought I'd hear the word "pop" anywhere near the same sentence they were in without an "anti-" in there somewhere.

Master Yoda; Oh I see. I was clueless, I never watch t.v unless it's a race or a football game.

962 My sincerest condolences for you and your family.

Gammamute: I think you misread me or I mispoke myself, or a little of both. I'm not defending them, I'm not really into Slayer. I liked them back in the 80's some was I was quite a bit younger but that time has passed for me. I just found the expression funny. Kinda like Shred-Polka or something lol. It's all good.

ArtanisI: Where's the fun in speaking concisely? I never claimed to be a master of articulation lol

alexandre: Still no news I'm afraid. Not to worry though, we'll get it sorted.

The real song of the day: "99 Luftballoons" What were you guys thinking? lol

Mr. Nick: I'll have to drink a beer for you then. In retrospect of your undying dedication to keep this community Satch-like. I wasn't gonna drink, but now I feel I must. I hope you understand and appreciate the sacrifice I'm making for you in your honor.

Megaboyd: Who else was on that potential G3 list they were asking about at the signing?

r6rocker & Guitarcake: No we haven't hit a brick wall. We have a flat tire. Joe has the lug wrench. Mick is the lug wrench.

My vote for G3: Nobody. No one. Make it G2 and call it good. Longer sets of Joe and Steve. They could play ryhthm for each other's songs and just have one band. A two and a half hour jam. Problem solved.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Well actually I did forget, hence the second post. Anyway, since iuma is being uncooperative, I did a new site at mp3.com. It has a new tune I did over the weekend for a young lady I met at the party I had this weekend. She seems pretty nice. Anyway, it's a real mellow little slow tune that hopefully helps with my low speed accuracy and I'm getting a small hint of feeling out of myself as well. I'll get there eventually. Anyway, check it out. Over the next couple of days I'll probably be uploading at least a couple more tunes. I'll be sure to put up a shameless plug like this one when it's all a go

Had to fix that link again. I'm an idiot.

Plum Loco: I was going to try to get a pic of myself uploaded today, but Avarice has got me scared now. I had no idea there were 2 Stevie Wonder photography places. He'll bust me for sure lol

OCPS470 & r6rocker: I agree on the cd. I'm ready to make this happen. What's everyone else's opinions on this?

Megaboyd: I think we should kidnap Beck and Page and force them to do the G3 thing.

Nick: Oh you English and your extra little "u"s. And what's the deal with "tyres". Did our books get wet on the way over here or something lol.

Matt: You seem pretty sure about this Yngwie deal. Where did you get the info? You generally don't spead rumours (how's that Nick) so I'm curious on this.

Fusion: I see you still see music as a competition. That's cool if that's your thing, but not everyone is into that. The show could be pretty cool. Won't matter for me anyhow cause it won't be anywhere close to town.

I got my T2J shirt! Quality of print is pretty good. Kinda hard to tell from the artwork I chose (the swirled Satchurated pic). Good quality shirt, but the printing size on the front is kinda small in relation to the size of the shirt it seems.

Plum Loco: I know. I'll see if I can come up with a pic sometime soon. On the Yngwie thing, I can't see Joe setting Yngwie up like that. Not really his style to be mean like that you know. I'm sure the shows will spawn several debates with the fans though.

Lots of Yngwie controversy as expected. I think Yngwie will make a well rounded G3 show. Something for everyone. Kinda the other extreme of Eric Johnson. There's several other players I would have picked before him but it could have been much worse.

Plum Loco: Dude you need to run out right now and buy Beck's "You Had it Comin'" cd. Very cool stuff. Probably make you see him in a whole new light. He's got more than the old bag of tricks, check it out.
