SNKR: Well, first off, several people believe that God (or another supreme being) created everything, including evolution. Among the endorsers of this are Pope John Paul II. Secondly, evolution is not a means to explain the creation of the world. That's the Big Bang Theory and it's only relationship to evolution is that it's the beginning. Third, if somehow, science could completely, 100% prove that there is not God, this information would have no effect on people having free will or choice. Whether God is real or not, you can still choose to believe in him or not.

Time to catch up, just saw that and wanted to say something real quick.

Well, last night's attempts to catch up were foiled by something far more enjoyable, sorry for not returning as promised. Thanks for the all the welcoming back, and very sorry for the scare, it wasn't intentional.

Young Bernie: The whole of America is not religious, nor are we all arrogant. There is a very loud minority that you are hearing and complaining about. Please try to refrain from making broad statements like that since they, as a whole, aren't true. Not trying to offend or oppress your point of view, just someone that happens to American that doesn't necessarily fit into your description of us. Oh, and Joe does post every once in a while, but with the tour underway I wouldn't expect to see much of him excepting a possible "Wow this tour is fun thanks to you all for coming out" kinda message.

cuthbert1776: I've read somewhere (sorry can't remember where so no idea as to how accurate or reliable this is) that the Hebrew Bible referred to Mary conceiving a child that would become a prophet, but there was no mention of it being a virgin birth. I'm not sure if this is the same thing that Clarky is referring to or not, or like I said if this info is reliable at all in the first place. By the way, thanks for the link to the evolution article and debate that followed, interesting stuff. I'm not sure the article changed that many opinions after reading the debate that followed it though, but some interesting points of view and worth considering.

24fretmayhem: As cuthbert1776 suggested, it is good to talk to someone in person, but don't feel obligated to not share your feelings here (I'm sure this isn't what he was suggesting either). This is a very compassionate place and more of a family than a discussion group. A lot of times it's a dysfunctional family, but it's a family nonetheless and you are a part of it. Good luck to you.

Delphino Pie: A gizzard is an internal part of a chicken that is deep fried and eaten here regularly in the U.S. I don't care much for them, but some people do.

Austin: "Nah...it'll actually be something like: "...wow!!!...this is so much fun...thanks for coming to see us....more on this later!!....joe.." Come on, man...you've been here long enough to know about the "...more on this later!" thing...shame on you for forgetting it! ;-)" Ahh, fresh sarcasm, lmao.

bubbles: Congrats on no cigs for four days, keep it up! It's a long hard battle that is never finally won, but you'll make it thru fine. After three days the nicotine has left your body so now it's all a matter of mind and habit.

dragonchild: Sounds like an awesome evening you and Mari had, congrats to both of you. Nice review too, thanks for posting it.

Mick87: Happy birthday.

marimariSRV: I'm glad this trip is turning out so well for you, lots of great memories being made.

novjul: I agree with what you said about people seeing other's faults and not their own, very true. I disagree with it being disrespectful for posting bad reviews though. No one should like Fripp just because Joe says he's cool. Personally I like him, and from what I've been reading I would have enjoyed the shows very much, but I can understand how a lot of people wouldn't dig it. I also agree with your last statement, "Peace" so I guess two out of three isn't bad lol! lmao on "goldilocks size"

Narface: Hello again dude, where have you been hiding?

Ovation: I have a question for you that I've been meaning to ask for a long time. In Okinawa, what types of tools are available for you to purchase? I assuming there aren't any Snap-On or Matco tool trucks making weekly stops over there, so do you have to order stuff or is there a superior quality tool maker available there?

Delfino Pie: Some people are extremely narrow-minded in their tastes. Perhaps you can do something with your project to enlighten your professor (insert Satch here) lol

Sorry folks, haven't been here for a bit. I've been staying away from the computer some more. It would appear that I'm in the running to be the laziest person in the nation, which would rank be very high in the world wide standings. Last week I started playing this silly little online pool game and it just consumed me. I wasted many hours playing this damn thing and finally realized just how lazy I was. Playing computer games for hours isn't that bad of a thing, even if the particular game is aimed to duplicate a real life activity, like pool. However, spending hours upon hours playing online pool when you are less than thirty feet away from a REAL pool table is just wrong.

Ovation: I never would have guessed you had Snap-On and Matco trucks running around over there lol. Sorry about the metrics, I guess that is frustrating. I'm the opposite and haven't any American sizes in my tool box (with the exception of a Craftsman socket set) I'm a metric kinda guy. I'm completely lost in the hardware store too, say if I need a piece of PVC or something and the guy asks, "How big do you need?" I'll reply, "Oh, it's about 14mm or so. He'll reply with a blank stare lol.

Jazzy Boy: I just saw your comments on my IUMA site and wanted to say thanks! I hadn't been there in ages and was surprised to see some new comments. What tunes did you check out? The stuff on there is my older stuff and most of my newer tunes are up at soundlick.com Anyway, thanks for liking the original vibe of the tunes. You inspired me to listen to a bunch of my old songs and I've come to realize the more I learn and develop, the more I sound like everyone else. Time for a technique enema lol.

cuthbert1776: Yep, that's the one and "questionable" isn't the word for the computer player lol. A game like that shouldn't allow the computer to run the table on you.

slanshroom: A quick hello to you, take care and rest up.

Greck: On the north side of the river then?

There was a man who really took care of his body. He lifted weights and jogged 8 miles a day. One day, he took a look in the mirror and noticed that he was tanned all over except his "thingie." So he decided to do something about it. He went to the beach, completely undressed himself and buried himself in the sand, except for his "thingie" which he left sticking up. Two old ladies were strolling along the beach, one using a cane. Upon seeing the "thingie" sticking up over the sand, she began to move it around with her cane, remarking to the other lady, "There's no justice in the world." The other lady asked what she meant. She said, when I was 20, I was curious about it.
When I was 30, I enjoyed it.
When I was 40, I begged for it.
When I was 50, I paid for it.
When I was 60, I prayed for it.
When I was 70, I forgot about it.
Now, I am 80 and the damn things are growing wild on the beach and I'm too old to squat

I don’t really know how to start this. This is the umpteenth time I’ve sat down to write this and I’m just as clueless as ever on how to say this. I am writing this to apologize to everyone here. I have failed all of you miserably. I haven’t had internet access for over a year so that is the reason I haven’t said this much sooner. Over the past year and a half I have been in a very grim financial state. Being unable to work for such a long period of time finally drained me of every thing I had. I don’t want to bore any of you with details but one of the highlights was a near foreclosure on my house (I secured another mortgage thanks to my Dad and delivered a certified check to the foreclosure attorneys less than twenty hours before my home was to be auctioned off.) I had to sell my other property, all of my race stuff, bikes, trailer, gear and tools. Sold most of my guitar stuff (still can’t afford strings, still playing on the ones I put on a year ago), and of course eliminated all the extras like cable, telephone, cell phone and internet as well as occasionally doing without utilities for a week or so at a time. It hurts and embarrasses me to say this, but here goes: I used the money that I was supposed to produce the T2J CD with to buy food and keep the heat on last winter. Please don’t think I’m using my situation as an excuse, because in my opinion, what I’ve done is inexcusable. My problems don’t excuse my actions and I only mention them to offer an explanation, not to seek pity. I can’t tell you how sorry I am that I allowed this to happen. I don’t blame any or all of you if you are angry or upset with me, I would be too and believe me, I’m very angry with myself. I should have turned over control of the project long before things went this far and this is my greatest regret. I’m sorry for letting all of you guys down and I don’t even feel I’m worthy of forgiveness so I won’t ask for it. At this point I don’t know how I can go about paying this debt back, but somehow I will, little by little, I just need to figure out how. I miss you guys terribly and think of you daily. I’ve even written two songs about you guys but of course I have no way of getting them online and probably won’t for quite some time. I’m writing this at home on Word and will burn it to a disc and send it from my brother’s house next time I visit him. I hope to occasionally be able to use his computer so if anyone wants to contact me, email me at trutina2000@yahoo.com and I’ll eventually get back to you, but it might take several weeks or possibly even longer. My brother doesn’t live that close to me and with gas prices what they are I can’t visit near as often as I like. There’s so much more I want to say but I’ve taken up enough space, probably a bunch of newbies here that have no idea who I am anyway. Again, I’m sorry for failing you guys, failing Joe and failing myself. Words can’t describe how shallow and empty I’ve felt. Take care everyone, I hope all is well with all of you.
