hey joe,thanks for years of killer licks.i am writing you for your opinion. i have a badass little jackson jjp,with a hot pickup,dr 10's.it's solid mohogany,and it screams. i would like your opinion on a tube preamp compressor or (something tube) to drive it with. i dont care about brand names,just performance.i like low end chunk,good sustain,wailing mid presence. i have tried modeling type effect gizmos,but i like a tubey growl.any suggestions? p.s. we'll be in vegas for G3 at the house of blues on the 10th of oct.so whatever you play live or on your next (best of) cd ,is good by me.play what you love,and they will come. thanks for taking time to read this. your caraudio madman,maddogdavel.

Hey Joe,I saw you the other night at the Greek.Great place for a show . Traveled all the way from utah.Just gotta say"THANKS".You have inspired me to play the guitar again,it's been about three years now.Slowly but surely, anyway ,in case you didn't already think about it,you and Steve pretty much made history with your duet on "smoke".It sent shivers down my spine,unbelievable,once in a lifetime,WOW!!! All of us that were sitting together had the biggest grins on our faces,we laughed for 20 min. Again I thank you for a most memorable experience.I hope we can catch you again in Dec at the house of blues,vegas or ventura theater.Have you ever played there before? Its a great spot for a show,one of my favorites. So ,on a little side note,If I wanted to learn to play some of your stuff,what song would you suggest I start with?
