Hey Joe I just wanted to know if you planned on adding any more lessons to your Guitar World lessons page? Those lessons really helped me to break through my weak understanding of modes and how they work. Thanks for putting your time into it, and please add somemore. Any Satch fans needing some guitar lessons or theory should head over to Guitar World and check it out.

Hey everybody if you are at all into Frank Zappa or even not, you gotta check out this video I found on Shareaza. It's a video of Zappa playing Montana in the early 1970's. The guitar is awesome and has enough funk to get Nancy Reagan groovin. I've never heard to much Zappa before a couple of months ago, and I have to say that I absolutely love this performance of Montana. He's got the fro going on and the whole band was feelin it. Yoo might find it on Kazaa, but I dont know because I stopped using Kazaa after it crashed my computer a couple of times. There's also a couple of other Frank Zappa videos on Shareaza but you'll watch this one hundreds of times. The truth is I never really heard any of Joe Satrianis or Steve Vais music until just a couple of months ago. I had heard of them Steve more so than Joe, but had never really listened to them. I dont know what planet I've been on but thank God I came back to earth. The first time I heard either one of them was on "My guitar wants to kill your mama" from the G3 tour. And I admit I have never been so impressed with what those guys did with a guitar since Jimi Hendrix. I am a Hendrix fan to the utmost and I never thought I would hear anything that was on or even near the same level as him, but after hearing that I immediately began listening to Satch and Steve's music from the past 10 to 12 years. Damn I wish I would have known sooner. I wish Jimi could have heard some of their music, he would have loved it, and imagine if Jimi were alive how phat that G3 tour would be!! Sorry for taking up so much space but thanks to my new discovery my mind has opened to even more possibiliites, and I've started practicing nearly 6 hours a day. I get a good Hendrix vibe from Joe and thats why he's my favorite guitarist next to Jimi, which makes him the best guitarist alive as far as I have heard. Hopefully I can get to know some of you guys in this chat better cause I could always use the help and encouragement you guys offer on this site. I've looked through about 50 pages and can tell you guys are pretty tight. Well it's been fun, and don't forget to check out that Frank Zappa song on Shareaza it will have you trippin. Peace

I just got the John Petrucci Rock Discipline Dvd a couple of days ago, and I have to say it's pretty good. It's full of good warmups and speed exercises. Have to admit though its pretty tough, well for me anyway. Some of those stretches are pretty hard to start off with. I've already got a little faster, and accurate in just a few days!

Guys this post is in regards to T2J cd covers everybodies voting on. My opinion is somebody needs to throw in some more flavor on the back covers. Some of the fronts are really good , but the back covers really need some love. need to throw in alot of blue and silver metallic colors. Satchurate the colors together and give it a feedback kinda feel, like the title. Also whoever did the front artwork with the chromeboy guitar with the music text coming out of it, that looks like a winner. Giving the text coming out of the guitar a more electrical and wavy feel like feedback would put the icing on the cake. These are just my opinions. Great work on alot of those front covers peoples. Peace

To Quito I dont know all the specs on the Buzz Feiteng tuning system except that they do something special with the nut. It's supposed to keep your guitar 98% in tune. Cost you a couple hundred bucks though. I don't know anybody who has it but I'm in Alabama, and most of the people with the credentials(certificate) live on the West Coast, and a few on the east coast. I think it cost about $5,000 to get the certificate to do this work. Peace

To anybody

What are some right hand exercises I can do without having to use my left hand at all? Mt left arm is a little sore after 6-10 hours of practice a day for a couple of weeks. I need to rest up my left arm for at least a day but would like to work on my right if there is anything I can do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

[b/ To GuitarCake and anybody else who cares[/b]. The stool Jimi sat on when he recorded that video for Hear My Train .. on the 12 string guitar, is currently being sold on ebay. Sorry I don't know how to make the link appear hear, but go to ebay Type in Hendrix and then click highest price. It's going for around $12,500. It's about the coolest item I've ever seen on ebay. Damn I wish I had that kind of money. Hendrix is #1 on my list. Peace

Hey guys in the options menu there ought to be a page or something that just has all the music sumitted by T2J members. It should be in alphabetical order according to member name's. I've looked at a few of you guys music links, but I get tired of searching through all the posts just to find a link. I wonder how difficult it would be to add this feature. Ride the Breeze

By the way is it to late to submit any new songs? I still havn't got that Digitech GnX 3 yet. I think I'm gonna have to ssale my Taylor Big Baby so I can get one. Ever since I started practicing so much again I'm coming up with 1-3 songs a day. I need to be able to record before I forget the melodies. If anybody wants to buy the Taylor let me know. I personally picked this one out of about 20 different baby's This one had the best sound, and least amount of miscuts, etc, small flaws that happen when using machines. Ben well played and is in mint condition besides rhe strings. No scratches dents anything, and I've had it a couple of years. Somebody here needs to get up on this one. anybody interested?

To Miguel Pais Lessons on Modes

Hey man if you're looking for an easy way to learn modes or at least understand them, try GuitarWorld.com. Go to the lesson index. There you will find a wealth of lessons from plenty of today's best guitarist. I personally learned plenty from Joe's section, he broke it down so easy. I really gained a good understanding, just need to practice. Steve Vai's lessons are also very easy to understand. But I think the way Joe brings it will be very easy to understand and apply. Good Luck .

Anybody want to buy my Taylor Big Baby? See my previous post on the subject. Get a great Acoustic, and help me get a Digitech gnx3 to record on. We both win. Peace
