I fully agree with Cartboy who really was imposed by Joe's latest album, not that the older ones were not good, far from that, but i want to congratulate Joe on his newest album(peace of art!), even if it s not that new no more(i just discovered the site). And congratulations for being one of the best guitar players ever! As a guitar player myself i think there are so many virtuosos out there, but Joe still manages to stand out after all his years at the top and still improves his teqnique and sound! Keep on going you and thanks for the G3 thing, it s wonderfull to see some guitar gods playing at the same time, shame you don't tour in Europe with them! Keep on picking!

I wanted to ask if anybody knows what guitar Joe played before he got the JS-models? Was it an S-model modified or do i have it wrong? I don't have an idea, but as a guitar-player and customiser i am truelly intrested in that... Do you know what pick-ups where in that guitar? The same as in the JS? And what did he use as a bridge pick-up before the DiMarzio FRED? Thanks in advance to any repliers!

Thanks for the guitar info guys! I appreciate it a lot! Indeed it was the 540 Radius,a model whe never had in my country, and i suppose you guys might be right about a Paf PRO in as well the neck as the bridge in his old model(before the FRED). Thanks for the replies!

I know there is no chance in actually seeing it realised, but i hope Joe will work with one of my other guitar heros on a next G3-tour... Yngwie Johann Malmsteen. Would be ace to see them both in a G3 tour as we have seen Vai, Johnson, Petrucci, Rondat... I know Malmsteen has a completely different style than Joe, but Johnson has differed a lot as well and he was brilliant! What would you guys think about inserting Yngwie in a G3 Tour?? I would simply love it!! Keep on picking by the way Joe!

Hi Joe, I don't know if you can actually change something about it, but i really think that the Ibanez JS100 should come with DiMarzio PAF PRO and FRED instead of the Ibanez pick-ups. I know these pups are more expensive, but i would agree with a small raise in price as well for the JS100 if it comes with DiMarzio's. Otherwise the guitar is very good for the price, just a shame that "the real deal" in pick-ups is missing!! So please people at Ibanez, put some DiMarzio's in the JS100 and i really won't complain then about a price raise(small). Maybe something for 2004????? Keep on picking!

I really think this "Talk to Joe" forum should change a bit. I think it would be much better if there were some subjects were you can choose from and then post or read any messages. An example:a questions to Joe section, a section were you can talk tech stuff about guitars and pups,...a section were people can discuss musical stuff and so on. It would really make the site better i think because all is a bit mixed up at the moment and all subjects are displayed at the same time. What do you guys think about it???

People, i would like to ask who you guys really would like to see on a G3-tour with Joe... Personally i still think Yngwie J.Malmsteen could make a good choice even if the most people don't like him here, i think it could give a nice result... But leaving Malmsteen aside, i would really really like to see Patrick Rondat going on a G3 tour with Joe! He s not that known i know, but this ex-JM Jarre Guitarist sure can play big time!! I don't know how you guys wuld feel about taking Patrick Rondat in for a G3 tour???? I would really love it!!!

Suggestiopn for the new G3 -tour: please take Patrick Rondat!!!! He would fit in great i think! He played in France in 1998 with Joe and Michael Schenker. I know he is not that famous, he just was the ex-guitarist from JM Jarre, and did some great solo work wich is to unknown to my taste.... So please Joe , you must know he s great and fits in just great, so please please, take Patrick Rondat with you!!!What so you people think from taking him on a G3 tour??Would you all like that as much as i would?????Let me know....

If it's really Yngwie who is going on the next G3-tour i can really live with that, personally i would loved PAtrick Rondat as the thirth man, but Yngwie was about my second choice,(second, not because he plays not as good as Rondat, but because Rondat's style fitted in better for a G23-tour) . So it's Yngwie, i ll bet it ll give some nice results you ll see! I know he plays in a different sryle(neo-classical arpeggio stuff) but it ll turn out just great i think, and don't forget the nicce show you ll get from him (swinging guitars around the neck, throwing them way up in the air, playning behind the neck, playing with teeth and so on...)Personally i like all three guitar players and i am glad with that choice!Hope it ll turn out OK....
