First of all, The new site layout is great. Well done. Now, the important question...Joe, I checked out hte band lineup and just wanted to know one thing. WHERE'S STUUUU?!?!?!?!? Before anyone says anything, I have nothing against Matt - I saw him with DLR in '88 and on the Extremist tour and he was great. I was just wondering why the change? --Rich

Joe,
First, my Expert review....WHOA DUDE, COOOOL!!!! SBM is excellent.
I'm in the middle of listen #3 and I keep hearing different little nuances each time. I love the sound, tone and feel of it. It sounds to me like you took a little edge off the distortion and went for a warmer more natural sound from the guitar (but what do I know - I can't even play). Great job on the production, too. It sounds well produced rather than overproduced like 90% of todays music.
AND, not only did we get the latest masterpiece today, but an official on sale date for Atlanta. Not a bad day IMHO. I've got my plastic waiting for the pre-sale as we speak!
Later,
Rich

What happened at the Atlanta show? I know you didn't feel very good, and one of your main guitars is MIA, but I was wondering why the set was so short. There was so much that you didn't play, like Surfing and Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness. It almost seemed like you ran out of time or they called curfew on the show. What was it?
Just curious,
Rich

It is Stu not boo-- 90Minutes would have been nice. The Tabernacle show was just over an hour. Joe took the stage at about 10:40 and the crew started taking apart Jeff's kit at about 11:45-- with the purple stage lighting STILL ON. The crew was all over the stage before the house lights even came up. That's why it seemed like they must have hit curfew. I guess I'm just holding out for the 2 set "evening with Joe" shows that never seem to happen in Atlanta - and Joe, please consider that for the entire next tour.

Joe, can't wait for Oct 29 at the Tabernacle. This time I hope the set doesn't get cut short like last time. My nephew is due sometime that week -- my sister has strict instructions NOT to go into labor that night!

I just got home from the Atlanta show - Opening night of the "Evening With" tour. Don't miss this one! Joe was unbeleivable.
Joe, I do have a question. Where was the flame guitar??? I took a girl who LOVES flames, and has a picture of you with that guitar on her wall, and told her you'd probably play it, and every time you switched guitars, she gave me a look of disappointment. So, where are the flames??
Thanks,
Rich
