Joe,
I play in an instrumental rock band in Utah.
Our band has learned through experience just
how difficult it is to build a local fan base.
It seems to us that instumental music is only
appreciated by a small group of people that
share our love for radical expressions of
musical creativity.
I imagine you're a very busy person, but I am
hoping that you can help us. We need your advice
and, if at all possible, some help. We have impressed
a lot of people here and ticked off a few as well (mostly other musicians), but we really want to take our guitar driven
music somewhere. What do we do? How do we promote ourselves so we can get in front of the right people? How do
we get the chance to impress people like yourself- people that have the experience and power to give us the direction that we need to succeed?
We are recording a CD that will include both studio work and
live performances. When it is finished, we would be honored if you will be kind enough to listen to it and possibly offer us feedback and advice.
We are traveling from Utah to Arizona to come see you play in your opening show of the G3 Tour. I am very excited to see you play as well as your other friends.
Thanks
Greg Page
