Hi Everyone and Happy end of January! Question: Joe said he is coming out with his JSX amp and the new JS Guitar (red headstock). I tried looking for it everywhere (including Ibanez and Peavey websites) but cannot find anything. Any Idea. And what keyboard and effects did Eric use in recording EOC? And some one should hear Barrie Poole's cover of Starry Night. Its just Hilarious! It needs to be renamed Barrie Night! heres the link...... http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Barrie_Poole/

Dude, this guy rocks! His name is Barrie Poole. He adds a twist to Joe's songs by doing covers of them in his own style, His own keys and his own notes. He's bad ass. His greatest song of all time is RUM N COKE BLUES. This guy is the shizzle. Make sure a glass of water in front of you when you listen to his mp3's. I believe someday Joe Satriani will be the next Barrie Poole. lol. http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Barrie_Poole/

The news section here really sucks. Someone needs to update it. I had no clue that there is a Hendrix tribute concert coming up where Satriani is going to perform. I had to look it up elsewhere. NEWS? is that for decoration here or to give us some info? No pictures from NAMM 2004 either. For us poople not close to where all the action happens these little things matter. Thanks : (

Sorry Biela, We are all trying to get a chrome boy guitar ourselves. But you can take some aluminum foil and shape it like Joe's guitar. Add some elctronics and strings and play it. Thats chrome boy, isnt it?

Most of you all may have already gone to foreverjoe.com. It is a great website and I recommend watching Starry Night on the Beach. It is amazing, soothing and relaxing. Speaking of amazing stuff, when will Joe tour again. I'm still not happy about the news section being rarely updated. I had no idea that Joe would be playing at the Hendrix tribute. We need more news from whomever it concerns. Also, did you guys like Steve Vai's Live DVD? Steve can do better than that.

[b] GUITARNUT777 I dont think so he was trying to criticize Joe's playing. He was looking out for him from some source that he heard. I dont think we should call anyone "fool." Its just not nice in a place like this.

Do The Stu.....How often am I supposed to look at the tour page? If Joe posts a message, I won't expect it to be on the news page. But if he's playing a gig, I would like to see it on the news section, because its a big thing for me, maybe not for you. Sorry.

Anyone heard of the Joe Satriani Revival? Its a Joe Satriani cover band from some European country. They are pretty good and he's the only guitarist who comes close to playing Satch's music accurately (as far as I know). I encourage everyone to check it out, you can download their music from their website. Peace.

JS_JP_41 : Profanity is for cowards and uncivilised people. I hope you understand the word HUMOR??? Do you know what it means to joke??? A "Joke" is something I do to shame people who have no control over their tounge or discipline because I feel these people need to respect the fact that there are KIDS coming to this website and there is no place for HOMOPHOBES like you to post immature deragoratory messages in this website. If you need a counselor, get one before it gets too late. Heard of high blood pressure??? Get yourself some respect or get lost from here.

Do the STU: Sorry I did not see the next show on top of the website. I apologise for being a blind buffoon. Thanks!

Goncalo Periera dude is pretty good! He's a complete shredhead as far as the videos which I saw and is heavily impressive. I want to hear more of his stuff and see whether he slows down at all or not. Guitar playing is not all shred and we all know the reason why! Its Joe.

JS_JP_41: You are quiet the chicken. LOL. And hey, no one wants to be your friend? Well, we certainly wont. Using the F word on someone does not make you Zakk Wylde or doesnt make you any cooler, it just shows how unoriginal it makes you. "Does anyone know how to play Bark at the Moon?" "Uh......" I changed my nick is that why you gave me the F? Seriously, I pity you. I really pity you. And keep this website from becoming the trashcan for your uncontrollable mouth. Sincerely, your Master

JS_JP_41: Yeah, how great of you diss my parents. It seriously proves YOUR upbringing. I never could imagine dissing your parents. And learn to have a cool head. If you keep talking, I will. And hey, you posted here that you would'nt stop usinf the f word unless I stopped posting about your remarks? Well, you are most welcome to go ahead and say whatever you want to say. But keep in mind that swearing is for cowards. Also, as I mentioned earlier, try taking things with cool head. You are not only trying to offend me, but everyone else in the website with your uncivilised character. If you want to leave this website and cancel your account, go ahead. But I guarantee that you will come back, its just too good a place to be. Did I make any spelling mistakes? Show me whats wrong. I guess I will blame Joe for that. He never sings !

I guess I am going three in a row. Has anyone ever heard RBSH live? I am curious to know who plays the mandolin. And Joe, for the recording of starry night, what type of banjo was used? Banjo is seriously one of my least favorite instruments, but I was impressed with how you used it and I plan to buy one myself (a cheap one of course) and mess around. I recently bought EOC and am enjoyng it very much. In the song EOC, how was the intro created? Guitar or keyboards? or banjo?? When you played starry night in minneapolis (g3), I expected Galen to come out playin the banjo. Next time though, make him do it. Take care everyone. Happy February!

Ovation: The Mandolin is played right at the beginning of the song (If I am correct). I am quiet positive that I read it in the sleeve of The Extremist cd that a mandolin was used. If I am wrong, someone correct me. Actually, I believe it is used thoroughly throughout the track. Lets see if Joe appears in smoke to answer our question about his relation with traditional western instruments.

Something of interest for everyone. Check out this website where Zakk Wylde talks about how much he hates the Rolling Stone 100 greatest guitarists. No Joe or Yngwie in it??? Not even Marty Friedman? Its a real sell out magazine that, I personally believe sells mainly because its been in for a really long time and has had a good deal of word of mouth advertising. Tradition among music lovers, as they call it. Here's the website: http://www.sleazegrinder.com/jeffzakkwylde.htm Hmmmm, its got too much swearing. Just to let you guys know. Peace.

Devarshi_666: Sorry no one wants to make music with you. But I myself am a citizen of India and have visited several times. Rock music (as they call it) is overflowing everywhere. You find kids walking around in Metallica, Pearl Jam, Deep Purple, Joe Satriani t shirts.....Rock music has made a mark in India. And whats all that magic potion? I tell you guys, We dont drink any kind of magic potion in India (even if it's an abstract term). Peace.
