Dear Joe Satriani,
My name is Duncan, I'm almost 16 and perhaps one of your biggest fans of my city in Canada. I've been playing guitar for five years, but to tell the truth, only with true goals and practicing every day for the past two years. I've read in some of your interviews that there was this one particular song by the great Jimmi Hendrix that inspired you to play guitar, and I can say that i've experienced much the same phenomenon. It was just over a year ago now that on my way to my city's "rock camp" concert, I put on a CD given to me by my uncle from Ontario, aptly titled Surfing with the Alien, and i played the title track. From that moment on, I was inspired, and continue to be even now, having just purchased the Satch Tapes, and your JS2000 guitar, after a solid year of working and saving.
I often frequent the touring section of your website, crossing my fingers that a Canadian show might appear, but often to my dismay, it's nonexistant. I've noticed that you tour to most every state in the US, but you have fans slightly north of border as well, and was wondering if you could someday make an appearance in Quebec, which is often as close as real concerts get to New Brunswick, that i might someday see the Virtuoso that is Joe Satriani, and haev one of my dreams fulfilled
Sincerely,
Duncan
