hey everyone. it's sugarbear's wife here. as you read, i had our baby on saturday morning at 1:06 am. it was...a painful yet beautiful experience and i'm left with a beautiful daughter to watch grow into a beautiful woman over the next couple of years. i don't know if you're able to post pictures on here, but if not, i'll put them on my website and you can see what she looks like if you want. well, talk to you all later, and by the way joe, you are an awesome guitar player and my husband and i had your song "always with you always with me" at our wedding as our bride and groom dance. i love that song and just wanted to let you know that i think you are amazing! :) later.

so what are everyone's favorite satriani songs? i like "flying in a blue dream" "tears in the rain" "always with you, always with me" "surfing with the alien" "summer song" and "crushing day."

it's always seemes weird to me that the titles of the songs always go with what the song makes you feel or picture in your head when you listen to it.

wow so i guess everyone pretty much likes all of his songs, right?

there's a few i don't hate but i'm not too fond of. like the ones that are really hard rock, i'm not too into that. i like most of his softer stuff..stuff that makes you think and feel a lot more than the rock stuff.

anyways keep on listening to joe, he's awesome. laters!

lgSTU89 phil keaggy is really good, basically the christian version of joe satriani. my dad has a bunch of his albums somewhere, i'm still searching the house for them, until i find them i must search kazaa...stupid hunk of crap search engine...

STU M my husband (sugarbear) has heard of the red album...but i have not...too bad for me i guess.

ClimbersFlash so i noticed you're from bremerton, wa...well i lived there in 1999...pretty sweet town. i liked the fact that i could see the puget sound from my window :) that and i lived about a block from the naval base. anyways, just thought i'd be random and bring that up. :)

oh, and does anyone know how old joe is? he looks pretty young but i know he's been making albums since the '80s...so anyone that would know...please spill the beans.

laters all!

hey did you know that the game "checkers" promotes gang violence!?.........

It's a race-related game (red vs. black) and you have to JUMP people to win!

man april 13th was SOOO awesome! joe was at tower records in ...where else but CONCORD, CA!? we (sugarbear and our baby) got to meet satch himself it was so cool! he called our baby an angel and said she had deep blue eyes. :) yay! i have pictures with him on my website now and man i am so pissed that i forgot to get something signed! (we got a cd and guitar signed for a girl that got bumped out of the line, but nothing of our own grrrr)

but anyways getting to meet joe was awesome. he's such a nice guy. i even told him about being in labor the night he played at the concord/chronicle pavillion in concord in october. he was like "whoah that's cool" :-D he even said that he missed having a baby that age (6 months) and said "z.z. won't let me hold him anymore...he's 11." hehe

GOD BLESS AND DON'T FORGET TO LISTEN TO SATCH!

jazzyboy posted: 1) America is a Secular Country. 2) No one here "hates" the followers of God. We hate stupid people. They are found in all walks of life, including T2J. Some of us found you stupid. 3) Your mention about "minorities" is a very sensitive subject. I am not touching it...but minorities being protected is bothering you so much? hmmm.... 4) People can pray anywhere because God is everywhere. You dont need to flaunt your beliefs on others. If you are not being allowed to talk about God, then go to a Jesuit or Catholic school. Why the hell are you so pissed? 5) Why should you bother if other people dont like your religion? You must be doing something to force it on them or something or simply pissing them off with your Amish tendencies. To be brave is to be misunderstood.....but you are probably some pencildick. 6) Again, forcing your beliefs on others by force is Nazism. Get a life, Joeman9. This place is not for discussing these topics....but I had to. Jesus....

America is NOT a secular country..It was not founded to be such, nor is it today, despite all of the hypocrisy and immoral conduct.

As long as there are still CHRISTIANS living in america, it will not be a secular country...Sorry if we get a little offended that we can't PRAY or talk about GOD in school, but the students can form a Gay/Straight Alliance Club at school! And no, we don't need to go to a Jesuit or Catholic school....Sorry but those aren't Christian schools!

And yes, it's true that we can pray to God anywhere, because He is anywhere and everywhere, but when they reprimand us for talking about Him in school, blatantly telling us that it is not an "appropriate conversation topic" (this has happened to me in the past) what do you think I'm going to do? Just shut up? Uh....THINK AGAIN! I'm going to be more adamant about my Lord and Savior!

Sorry, but it just aggravates me a little because my friend works at an after-school program at a public school here in the bay area...and well...there's a Jehovah's Witness child in her class...Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate holidays I'm told. She had to change all of her 'Easter' stuff to say 'Spring Holiday'...What's up with that? It's amazing how it's alright for other religions to press their beliefs on everyone and it's considered "O.K." but when Christians, who worship the ONE TRUE GOD want to say something about it to others...people complain that we're forcing things on them! We are being persecuted in America! What next!? Oh wait, I know what next! We will have to get the MARK on our hand or we won't be able to buy anything and be KILLED for refusing it!

JoeMan9...GOD BLESS YOU!!!

michelle that ebay wedding dress guy was hilarious! thanx for the link! :-)

JonRobertQuinn your music is amazing! i really liked the song "Journeys" do you know how much your cd sells for at tower records? i'd like to pick it up sometime...;-)
Artanis I posted: A Christian is not someone who merely believes that God exists, nor that the Bible is true, nor that Jesus Christ is God and was sacrificed to pay everyone's debts. A Christian is someone who in addition to the above is thankful for this FREE GIFT of eternal grace and as a result decides to let God be in charge of their life and live in a way that pleases, honours and interacts with Him. Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour, instead of you being your Lord.

I couldn't agree more, but in addition to that...having Christ as your Lord and Saviour doesn't mean just giving him lip service. You can tell him that you love him and worship him all you want, but unless you mean it from your heart it is meaningless...And also, it's not that you need 'religion' you need a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. He needs to be your best friend, the person you go to to talk about things that are going on in your life...the ups and downs...the successes and failures...everything!

zinc master that was hilarious! i needed the laugh!
and to end this...GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

JonRobertQuinn It would be really awesome if you could come play a show in the Bay...And no I don't think we met at the show on the 13th...
juju808 Yeah, ACDC's "big balls" always cracks me up! No matter how bad of a mood I'm in, if I hear that song I always laugh...
Artanis I Thanks for the reply on the whole "relationship" thing. I know I've heard it about a zillion times myself, but it makes God seem like a friend, rather than someone to be afraid of.
