I finally got to hear your new CD ITLIS. Another incredible offering to your fans. I really had no idea what to expect when i first dropped it in the drive but it became clear after the first go around that this was something special. Track 6 "If I could Fly" is in my opinion a grammy nominee waiting to be nominated. #4 "Lifestyle" is a pleasant change of pace and the vocals well suited to the song. The title song is vintage Satch.
On virtually every CD I buy (yours included) there are always tunes that one could take or leave. Not poor stuff, just not as compelling to listen to as the favourites. On this one, however, there is not one tune that I did not get that "Satch feeling" from. EVERY tune made me want to hit the replay button. I may or may not be a typical Satriani fan but if I am typical, you have struck a complete winner with this release. It is your best stuff yet! That says alot considering how much I enjoy ALL the earlier stuff.
You should be damn proud of what you accomplished on this CD. A "mid career" milestone.
All we can do as loyal fans is to do our job. That is to listen and enjoy your work and encourage more production.
And PLEASE remember to include much of your new stuff on ANY tour you decide on including G3.
You NEED to come to Toronto again!!

Satriani.com needs to update the road section of the web site. There are several dates that are booked for Montreal, Calgary Vancouver, Edmonton, and a few more in the States for August and September. they do not show up as booked on your site.

OH,OH!! Always remember to use the refresh button. HOB did indeed change the headliner to exclude Joe. (really, they did) My link shows a few of you were right and DP, TL are touring without Joe.

Yahhhh Baby!! I have not missed a single Toronto show yet and I have my seats all ready for the April 12th date. Cannot wait to see Joe noodle it up with Eric Johnson again.
God luv ya man! Hopefully you will play some of those hypnotic ballads that demonstrate your "composition" talent so well like IF I COULD FLY fron "Is there love in space". Play some oldies to!!

WOW!! Super Colossal is another milestone in your expanding musical offerings. Outstanding and sophisticated is how I would describe it. Especially your ballads, “Ten Words” and “A Love Eternal”. “Just Like Lightnin” is another beauty.
While we missed you touring last year, it was obviously a small price to pay if it allowed you the time to compose the “Super Colossal” CD.
I have seen you every year you come to Toronto and this April will be the latest addition, however, if you need to take 2007 off to produce another gem like your latest CD, I don’t think you will get much argument from most of your fans.
By the way, if you played the entire new CD on tour this spring, most of your fans would walk away quite happy. An outstanding effort Joe!!

Got my tickets for the G3 show in Toronto at Massey Hall in April. YYYAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see all of you guys there. This will be my 9th time seeing you play Joe and this time should be as good as all the others. I am pumped and ready!! Yahoooooo!!
