Hi Joe and everyone, this is my first post.

Just looking for a little advice on writing chord progressions. I am currently writing an album and have a few good songs on it and they all have simple major minor chords in them but they work and sound good.

However I am wanting to try and make some of the other songs more interesting and allow the listener to feel more for the song.

For instance I have a song called Friends with the lyrics written but can't find a way to write the feel good chords that should go with it, take your song with the same title as an example, that makes you feel great.

Or say for example your song I wish I could fly ahs amazing feel good chords and they are strange and more out the box than what i've been doing.

A lot of the time I find myself just copying other peoples chords, like yours but I hate doing that, it doesn't seem original.

Have you ever copied the chords from your favorite artists/

any advice from everyone would be helpful and thoughts on taking progressions from other songs, good or bad.

thanks

Hi there, was wondering if you could take the time to help out.

I am designing a new website for guitar players and I want you all to have a say as to what you would like in a guitar site.

It is mostly aimed at guitar players doing thier own instrumental music and will be a place to showcase your own songs/albums etc.

It will have the standard things such as a discussion forum and reviews and intervies etc.

I would love to hear feedback as to what you would like to see in a modern guitarists website or even criticism as to why you

don't think we need a new guitar site!

One last thing, feel free to recomend a domain name, preferably one not taken.

It would also be great if you could fill your answer in the form here and

put guitar site as the title.

This way it's easier to get everyone oppinions in one place, my email box.

P.S. I am posting this message in a lot of guitar forums that I am a member of but I don't want to be seen as spam as I am trying

to design something that's good for guitar players.

Thanks
