I got my first listen to some of the songs from the new album at this G3 tour, i really...REALLY REALLY like "I Like The Rain"...and "Searching" and "Up In Flames" and everything else in Joe's set...I wish I said more to him though, when I got to him he was with Galen and a fan, and they were talking about how birds being sucked into plane engines bring planes down lol.

I can remember he said something like: "We were on a plane and we just happen to look over to the wing and saw the engine burst into flames so we started yelling 'erm...the engines on fire...theres fire, fires not good', about a minute later the captain's voice came over the intercom saying 'as you may have noticed an engine has exploded not to worry, we will land quickly and then continue our journy'" lol I couldn't help but laugh at Joe's impression of the captain.

I got my pictures sent to me today of me and Joe, me and Sheehan, me and Vai and me and Jeff. They turned really well...apart from the one of me and Vai...some kind of ultra-flash made me partially a white silhouette...but ah well.

Ollie and the magical tour continues, I wish no one boo'd at the Birmingham one though...kinda ruined Fripp's set...maybe if he wasn't boo'd he would've done the aftershow thing...but ah well, I'm sure we'll see him again :-)

VFRocker Ah I see, I wish I could've met Fripp, I loved his set at the NIA, very inspirational and very thoughtful, its amazing how he remebers all of what he has written there seems so much to it than just playing the guitar and using some really cool effects (I could see him twiddling around with the box he had in front of him, obviously knew what he was doing cos' it sounded soooo gooooood, the backdrop of the stage was really cool and suited the music as well)

Wow thats really bad, I hope Sam gets well soon. No need to apologise for being a football fan though, not all football fans are assholes, just the minority of them that can't take their alcohol...(says someone who got drunk at a christmas party and wanted to look for the rest of a bottle of Malibu in a park at 1am)

Crushingday62 Joe was saying backstage on Saturday how he wished he got the G3 with Petrucci on DVD...oh well, if only there were time machines :-)

I finished college early again today because for some reason they expect a "personal statement" for university to take up 5+hrs....even though it has to be 47 lines long. (which is a really awkward number anyway...why cant it be 50...I'll tell ya why because they know stuff like that bugs me lol)

Anyway I can't complain really, I'm at home, I got my guitar, and I'm listening to a playlist I just made consisting of Vai, Weiner and ofcourse Mr. Joe Satriani...best play list I've ever had lol...and I've had a few. (I'm a playlist "slut" if you will)

Anywayz I'm making my own personal website and I'll be uploading my pictures of me and Joe, me and vai, me and jeff, me and sheehan, and me and weiner onto it before its finished....Damn I should've got a picture with Galen and Matt...ah well I'll get one next time I see them...hopefully in a year or so :-)

I stumbled and fell against one of my friends and nearly knocked him into a bush to which he said "Hey don't push me into the bumble bee" so I said "thats not a bee man, thats a bush"...apparently it was hilarious how I said it but I dunno I never listen to me lol

Nitefly_Rob Yea man I saw ya' lol, I got there about 6:30 and was wearing clothes that even if I told you what they were you'd probably have a hard time remembering since I blended in so well...apart from when I got stuck in a group of 15 year old guys in Korn, Slipknot and Nirvana hoodies...at that point I felt out of place lol.

I just got back from a university conference thing which held guest to many uni's all over the UK, and we had to attend atleast 1 lecture...so we got our prospectuses (or should that be prospecti?) and we went to a 3 minute lecture on student life...then left and spent 3 hrs....(thats right 3 hrs) in pizza hut....I payed for a drink...and ate hardly anything (what i did eat I didnt pay for)

Damn migrane...got me off college for today though...which can't be complained about.

Oh well back to work on my music :-)

If I finish a song in the summer, who would I have to consult if I wanted to ask if I could have it put on the next T2J cd?

I take it, that it would have to be to a very high standard just like DCK's, Clarky's etc...

Hmm I just ruined a song I was gonna' record by forgetting I was recording.

I was gonna record "Descending Angel" by the Misfits, and then re-create the drums for it in "Reason 2.5" however I forgot and sort of got distracted...adding an Yngwie style shred on the end of it lol.

Oh well back to work :-)

I just re-made all of the song I made yesterday/day the before because I found an adapter that makes the guitar sound quality A LOT better.

I have 33 seconds of a song that my friends seem to like at least (but still that could be out of "nice-ness" and not wanting me to feel too down if its a bag of doggy droppings) Anyway when I have about 2 minutes 30 seconds more of it, I will put it on my sound click...
