Nitefly_Rob I'm trying to stop shredding lol, I seem to Yngwiefy stuff too much that doesn't need Yngwiefying. I've hit some difficulties with my track now too, this morning I re-wrote the whole thing only to find I hated the middle part that took me the longest to come up with, now I have the original riff, and a heavy powerchord progression. I'm gonna try to come up with a nice melody to be the verse part, maybe an arpeggio...hmmm *ponders off*

962 I got STSA at the G3 I went to, and I have listened to it everyday since (granted thats only about a week) but its a really good album. Plus I got it signed so I'm happy about that I can't wait for a Weiner UK tour, but I don't see that happening for a while yet sadly.

Icezer This may sound like a dumb question...but whats a loopstation? I seriously have never heard of that before lol.

I usually practice chromatics for speed as well as doing what Dave Weiner told me to do and to write my own runs and encorporate loads of aspects of guitar playing into it such as tapping, slides, legato, sweeps etc...

I also spend some time reading books on theory, but I don't think I spend enough time on theory as should do.

Ollieno1uk Thanks for listening to it :-) I kept changing it after the first chord progression, I cudn't get it to sound "right". I feel that way again about the last melody in it, I'm not sure I like it.

I have no idea where I'm going to take it lol, I guess I should really sit down and think of what I am trying to do, and what the song is going to create the image of.

Do The Stu I Like to listen to a cd from front to back, and as it has been said before, if its a Joe CD I listen to it about 2-3 times, because theres just so you miss on the first or second listen.

When I'm learning a song I usually have the song on in the background on repeat for about an hour as well.

mcdonalds...more "food" for your money, with burger king you spend like £4 on a burger half the size of the palm of my hand...

In fact screw burgers...screw them good...KFC is the way to go!

I've almost decided on my next guitar...almost lol. I'm torn between SA1260, the RG1527, RG2570EX or the RG370DX...they all appeal to me because of standard finishes, necks and bridges. Plus they are within my hopeful price range lol.

What do you guys think of these models?
