Do The Stu I love the single player on "Halo"...I deliberatly wiped the data off my xbox so I would HAVE to do it again, I'm near the end but its getting to the tough bits :-)...best of luck with it, there are some real gems when it comes to level design on that game....

962 I just finished Halo 2 with my friend...its good that you can't skip the end credits because the music by Vai at the end is just...well...its great.

Michelle Brutes are great lol...Everytime comes into view the phrase "Well hello Mr. Fuzzy-Britches" comes to mind...
I think all the characters in it are really well animated, but the Brutes have got a really cool run...its like a Gorilla running...mixed with a Rhino charging.
I got another picture of my fat cat...this time its of her sleeping in her actual bed...I'll post a link in my edit...

962 I'm going back through it on heroic now...I didn't bother with "Easy" mode lol...My jaw is still thoroughly dropped at the scenery, I think theres a bit not far from where you are now where theres a massive (and I mean massive) battle and Vai plays a nice few minutes during it...tapping and everything :-)
I think I'm going to watch all my music DVD's today...LISF, G3-2003, Live Scenes From New York, Battle for Mexico City, and the self-titled "Rage Against The Machine"....
COuld do with "Live At The Astoria" really couldn't I....

hmmm...just sprayed the lizard onto my guitar...only to find out that after millions of practice sprays on random pieces of wood...that the spray-mount i was using, that specifically said it doesn't react with auto paint,....DOES react with auto-paint...so now I've got a massive mark where the bastard spray-mount reacted...
Looks like I'm gonna have to either sand it all down and start again...or...................................................any suggestions?!

962 Sorry man you're gonna have to remind me what it was again lol...I completed it on Co-op so I was talking to my friend most of the way through it and missed about 3/4 of the story line....
Is it like a robotic orb type thing? If so you've got to press 'X' to board it when it flies near you, then keep hammering 'B' to smack the shit out of it...it will eventually explode...if thats not it then you're gonna have to remind me what it is lol...

It sucks everyone is coming down with either tonsilitus or some kind of virus...in my normal group of around 11 at college there was only 3 of us....

Thats ok guys...I wouldn't give it me either lol.
Today the odds have been against me, I get home turn on my amp and get guitarring...5 minutes into warming up and there's a power surge...when my power eventually came back on about 4 hrs later my amp was completely screwed up...and my effects processor...
Then to cap the whole damn thing off I find a Ibanez RG-7 string on Ebay with hardcase, strap, etc...for £275 with no previous bids and 2 days to go :-(...
It just hasn't been my day...

Has Joe ever done a song called "Heavy Metal Christmas"? My friend just told me about it, usually I don't allow people to send me music files over msn, but I really wanted to hear this and see if it was our good friend Joe.
Obviously I'm listening for Joe's tell tale tone, and I have to say it sounds a lot like Joe's writing style...
Just wondering if anyone has ever heard it, or heard of it before?

Do The Stu Yeah I think that the song I was talking about was the one you said it was, it with "Silent Night"...I couldn't quite put my finger on where it was from at first but after you mentioned it I listened through and sure enough it was...ta, I can now sleep again at night :-)

Flagg Yeah, its a shame, Cacophony were the reason I got into Vai, I was told "Speed Metal Symphony" was by Vai...when it actually wasn't, I think it was Do The Stu that revealed that to me...

Wish I was an Australia...
962 Recommendation: Play Halo 2 on system link up with mates...me and my mate set up two tv's yesterday, borrowed another mates hub, linked our two xboxs together and today we got round to playing Halo 2 on deathmatch.
Its excellent, if you turn the radar thing off then its so much fairer and it rocks loads.
Now I've got a massive table in the centre of my conservatory, a 3 seater couch one side, and a 2 seater on the other, with a relatively large TV on each end of the table....I got 5 mates coming round tonight as well to get it really going lol....

I can't say that really suprised me, I know that to us "guitar-geeks" (meant in the most positive way) it is a massive deal and hearing it was great news. But to "normal" people it probably doesn't matter that much. I was however suprised that in the "making of:" dvd they didnt have a mention of him in the "audio" chapter.

962 My xbox night went well...the majority was spent playing Halo 2 on team deathmatch...
Theres nothing more satisfying than getting like 10 head shots in a row with a sniper rifle and hear the other team say "Arg, where the fuck is he?!" lol....
It got really competitive, and it ended up that my team (3vs3) won nearly all the matches, excluding 2 or 3 rounds of deathmatch.
It rocked ass though...
