It's 1am...well near enough (1 minute to...oh not now its not...it is actually 1am now... ANYWAY)

My legs hurt so much right now...I went to play football today (soccer to y'all over the great shark-filled pond) and to be honest its the best I've played ever...even if it was just a mess around that resulted in one of my friends recieving a pretty hard shot in the proverbial family jewels...followed by a ball which he stopped with the tip of his foot, which proceeded into rolling up leg and into his family jewels once again lol...

Not only this, but my jaw hurts...so does my neck, my left shoulder and both of my eyes...I'm falling apart lol.

I'm still writing my mini-album at the moment and so far its turning out ok methinks. I'm working on a track called "Sea of Japan"...its not very guitar orientated but it feels all mysterious at the same time as having a really cool drum beat...if I do say so myself. :-P

Friday night is drunken celebration night, if anyone else lives in Birmingham you will have definitly heard of Broad Street...2 miles of multiple bars, clubs, snazzy restaurants and so on...and friday is usually the night you get the girlies in mini-skirts...and also the drunken hen nights that always seem to flash us out of limosine windows (not complaining or anything...just wish they were stationary)

I should really stop treating this place as an online diary lol...I hope you're all ok and had an excellent easter.

Joe Nice to see you, on a scale of 1-9 (to eliminate bias) what are the odds of a G3 with Buckethead? His immense array of styles would be very interesting to see during a G3 jam as well as his choice of his own songs to play during his set.

Take care everyone and remember, 6 pints of water a day, 5 pieces of fruit and 4 hours of cartoons is the most healthy way to live.

Steve Wilde I'm glad your necks feeling better, even if its only slightly :-).

Tomorrow is going to be one long ass day of doing some ICT work and if I finish a decent proportion of it then I am going to continue working on my guitar, not long now till I get to respray it, then after that all I have to do is put my crazy panda transfer on it, followed closely by laquering it up...then I just have to re-assemble, restring and get some more practice in. :-)

Take care everyone,

Steven Wilde I spent most of today listening to Joe, however the past week or so has been mostly Buckethead orientated. I just can't get enough of Buckethead's music it is so amazing especially the population override album its just incredible all the grooves on it.

What has everyone been listening to recently? :-)

Suzie Ooo, I've never heard the Dimebag tribute, however I have heard the ODB tribute and that was very cool considering it was made within the two days after ODB passed.

Take care

Today I had myself an early start and got my picture taken for my drivers licence...am I currently planning to learn how to drive?...Well maybe in the near future...but the real reason is that I need something 'official' to use as ID when I go to the clubs in Blackpool as I am cursed with a fat head which makes me look like a baby.

Tastey LMAO...noice!

Michelle that was the first Pantera video I ever saw...back in the day when I was going through my "Hey...whats this music stuff?...I hear theres lots of flavours, I've never noticed it before, I'll have a taste"...period...I liked it :-)

I never really got into Pantera though to be honest, I never heard a lot of their stuff and I was really stubborn in what I listened to ( I guess I still kinda' am)...maybe now is the time to get out there and buy some of there stuff ( I say 'now' but I mean after the two big parties I'm going to and once I have acquired some more money)...anyhoo...Pantera are one of many musicians whose CD's I plan to buy, right up there with Muddy Waters and Eric Johnson :-)

I've decided I hate other messageboards. When someone new joins here they get given an equal amount of respect as given to those who have been here for aeons. But everywhere else I go I feel condescended to and a target for people's sarcasm...this is probably the only board I will ever be a dedicated member to.

So thanks guys for making this board what it is.

Tastey LOL...nice one...

Michelle I'm not proud of my fat baby head lol...I was playing football at the tennis courts by my house the other day, when I sat on a grassy bank to rest a friend took a picture of me...I look like the typical post-card shot of a gorilla at the zoo who looks like his wife has just told him "not tonight honey, I've got a headache".

Damn my overwieght cranium...and body lol. :-)

So...someone broke Satriani.com today and had me visiting other forums...well...not musician forums so technically I wasn't being unfaithful...I was just on the Horror.com forum discussing films :-)

I've just spent the last 2hrs drawing out a map of the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham, and doing a floor plan...that was fun, HOWEVER the hard part is I have to label every shop inside it and where they are. Theres over 60 on the top floor alone...this is going to be one long ass day lol....

Anywayz, how is everyone today?

Congratulations on winning quote of the day :-)

Any suggestions on what I should eat on my diet? I need to lose some chins so diet and excercise is in order...

I mean lettuce is nice and all but I'm not a f'ckin rabbit.

Brainzor Ooo yes Moroccan sunset indeed is a brilliant song I was listening to it last night in bed lol.

Michelle Snot Salad?...How many calories is that? lol

Also, my head is smaller than that gorillas...but I found a special skill last night I can perform with my fat head and extra chin...I can hide guitar picks under my extra chin :-)

IT HAS TO GO!

Mikesb Im curious now to what these extra super powers may be with this celery diet...However, it sounds like a plan (although I hate the taste of celery) lol.

New Track

As a few of you are aware I have been swamped with coursework as of late...but I finished a song today that I have been working on for a week or two (on and off due to work).

My friend is using it in his skateboarding DVD over the top of his skate section...I hope you all like it.

[edit] BTW the song is called "Sea Of Japan" :-)

Steven Wilde Thankyou very much :-)

BigBunny Nice analogy with the frogs/ salamanders thing...however we may see the difference as something that big but this guy may not...he may see it more like frogs and toads...they look the same but there are only small differences between them, most of them being to do with appearance...however frogs and toads sound very similar to the untrained ear.

But yeah, by using salamanders the guy will listen to them both again and hopefully notice the difference that we see as blatent.

Please keep us informed of their response to your letter :-)

P.S those paintings of the frogs you did are very inspirational, keep up the good work.

"Dream Theater, music theory (Courtesy of Clarky and a few other T2J artists), jokes of the days, and the random jabs at Yngwie even though he's a pretty cool shredder (Though I am not a personal fan - I just figured that this might stir a giggle in some who remember that phase of T2J).

Ah yes...that was about when i joined and thats when I was first mentally disturbed by the picture of yngwie in the santa hat and under pants lol *shudder*

Hind

"i heard tis site is comming off by april 15 because all the assholes fighting and talking about nothing that has to do with music.that sucks for us who take our musuc seriously,i hope some people open there eyes and start appreciateing this country we live in and stop abusing what it has to offer, and joe, it was good while it lasted thanks"

As the synopsis says before you enter the board

"This section is sort of a free-for-all stream of consciousness that all registered members can post to"

Therefore it would not shut down due to the subject of conversation not being specifically music orientated.

Either way man its nothing to worry about, it was an april fools joke...I nearly fell for it, but then wondered why the whole text was a link lol

Michelle Not more than a chinese phone book lol...just enough to hold a guitar pick in :-P
mjs99

"THURSDAY: Today Bob asked for salad again. I tried a new recipe. It said prepare ingredients, then toss on a bed of lettuce one hour before serving.

Connotations of that in England are sooooo much worse lmao

P.S no one here is an asshole.

"does anyone have the remotest clue about trutina (Bil McKim)? "

I been wondering how Bill is over the last few weeks, two more months and it will have been a year since he posted...I remember because I wanted to report back to him about the G3 I went to.

Mikesb My friend used my song in his skateboarding video (as I said yesterday methinks) and he also sent me his skate section of the DVD...it goes really well, AND...the majority of where he is skating is in Selly Oak...can you remember much about Selly Oak since 1985? lol

Lyz Nice work on the game theme it reminds me of Final Fantasy a bit...good times from a childhood spent playing computer games :-)

AussieRGman Nice website and tunes, keep up the good work :-)

Michelle lmao...I have two cats that do that, they crave attention so they walk straight in front of my moniter and just generally make it so they can't be ignored lol.

But my fattest and most loveliest cat guards my bedroom by sitting outside my door all day...but doesn't guard it very well because she has been known to fall asleep standing up and then falls over without walking up.

take care y'all
