Whats the craic Joe?! Paul Gallagher from Ireland here( No relation to the guy that plays guitar in that band Oasis but from the same county as that blues wizard Rory!! and may he rest in peace.) I,ve only started listening to your music in the past month but what ive heard has inspired me to achieve another level in my own playing. I've only got the live at San Fran dvd but its so brilliant even my grilfriend watches it! My favourite tune is the beatiful "Love Thing" I've almost got it all learned which it amazing for a mortal like me! Anyway, thanks for your amazing music and please tell me you will be coming to Ireland to play because im a student and can't afford to fly to the states to see you!! All the best Joe, Paul Gallagher P.S. How much are you charging for lessons these days? Kirt and steve tell me the price is very reasonable!! Ha, Ha!

What is all this stuff about Vai being the best and Yngwie saying Joe was bland? Are this three guys not after doing a tour together? Joe saying that himself and Vai reached another level of understanding when it came to playing on stage together! Vai has been quoted as saying Joe has an ability to produce melodies that he never will as its something you cannot practice! Vai is technically the best player in the world but maybe not the most pleasing to listen to every day ( Yes I can listen to Joe all day everyday but Joe is still not as techincally brilliant as Vai ). Yngwie once said of Joe it was "REFRESHING" to hear a guitar player that didnt sound like him! Hadly suggesting bland there was he?! Just in case you lads forgot, there is no such thing as the best guitar because it is something that cannot be defined! Maybe your just expressing your opinion and if so try doing it more carefully so then nobody gets offended. Don't mean to sound like a teacher but the reason your probably on this website is because Joe's music inspired you so let that inspiration shine through instead of negative crap that does nobody anygood.

Hows it goin there Gary from scotland? Is Paisley not in Glasgow? Reason I say that is I've a cousin living there(Paisley, Glasgow) called Micheal Coll who is supposed to be a good player. Ever heard of the guy? Don't konow much about the swedish man's character but your right with the rest and that includes calling that guy a *****!

Dont get me wrong there Gary I know from a few fellow players that Joe and Vai will always come first in "MOST PEOPLE'S OPINIONS" (just in case any fannys out there get the wrong idea). Most find out from my parents more about my cousin to see if he is up to that sickening standard! I play an American Fender strat but when trying some really flash stuff it can be more difficult than if you were using a chrome boy or a Vai machine. What is ure own weapon of choice?

Glad to hear you got a laugh out of that DelfinoPie!

I would spend the entire day here trying to make conversion with all you interesting guys but that would mean neglecting my college work!! That would be just really terrible..... NOT!!!!! But I will also be neglect practicing my beloved guitar and never be able to play one of Joe's mighty tunes!

I just new to you lot but i'll be around a lot more in the future (And i don't mean 2020!!). Anyway good luck flokes and keep the tips of those fingers hard!

Hello there DelfinoPie! You have a good life man!! I was up at 9am to go to college and listen to some really boring crap about the environment, but it should provide me with a job that will help me buy a Marshall stack and a cool Ibanez Chrome Boy. " LOADS OF FUCKING SUSTAIN!!!"

Does not seem to be many people from Ireland on this chat room, or I'm I totally wrong???

Anyone got any cool stories for the Emerald isle?
