Get a Loaf: I am really speechless!......Thank you soooo much for the vote of trust & confidence:)....I really would love to do that for JOE.Right now I still don't have work & am getting quite desperate.Plus,I have no ties to keep me from doing that sort of work.No wife or kids.No particular career to look forward to.It would be the best thing that ever happened to me by a long shot.I was hoping that JOE would consider it seriously. Not too many people are in the position I am in now to up & go on a moments notice to do this.I can leave tommorow if I had to.Maybe we can do the Major Tom thing & hold a vote?...lol...Come on everybody!....Vote for jblaze1 to guard such priceless treasures...............Please JOE!!!!! You won't be sorry:) jblaze1

hey all. and joe. its my 19th birthday today. ive been a faithfull satchfan since 1999! ever since i heard (TMPHGT) it changed the way i thought about the guitar. it was instant... i never knew you could do things like that. i thought it was impossible to play metallica...haha, now my horizion has expanded exponentially. thanks joe for three great years of listening, feeling and truely enjoying. i hope to be a fan for many to come and to teach my children and their children about real music. - curtis smith (thegoose)

JBLAZE1: you are one determined dude for that job ,we all see that, i would have you watch my @#$% if i were in joes shoes, but dude consider one thing, who is it that handles things for joe now, and is he a very reliable person, you know how @#$% happens, that fast even. wonder if you sent joe a registered letter stating what it is you want to do for him & your situation, maybe he would appreciate the fact you have went this route as to not put him on the spot about security with him. just a thought dude. you have my vote!!!

Well, I'm going to see RDG tonight at the Whisky in Hollywood. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it was.
Schiacciatore - I've been meaning to make a few JS collage desktops, but I've never gotten around to it. Oh, and I love Up In The Sky.
kinger - The first place I heard Joe would've been in the movie Problem Child 2. I think Satch Boogie is the song that's in the movie. However, I didn't know it was Joe at the time. I became an Eric Johnson fan through a friend of mine, and ended up buying the G3 CD. So those were the first songs that I heard. My favorite was Summer Song.
thegoose - Happy Birthday!
...Austin...

hey all
Just thought I'd pop in and say a few words.
No longer doing music in school, it's a long sad story, but somewhere along the lines a door got closed on me and my only option was to do physics instead of music. - my hands are tied!! :(
anyway - yeah, I'm pretty bummed about that but I still have joe and steve and what better music techer are there right? :)

Joe, I just saw you play in San Diego at Humphrey's with Dream Theater and King's X... I got to meet you, but I didn't take a camera :-(! Anyway, my question is: Is there any chance that you might be coming back next year? It was a wonderful experience... specially because it was my b-day :) Regards, ciao!!!!

Is there a general poor vibe amongst some of the guitars in here regarding modes??????? If you wish... we can pull 'em appart and explain them in little bits at a time.... If there are folks in here that want to do this then just yell......
