webmaster - Thanks for the info. I guess I'll bug AOL about the mail problem.

peacefull76 - I've played some of the Need For Speed games, but not the third one. So I don't know what song you're talking about...sorry. The only thing in the last 45 seconds of RJDV that's really "different" from the rest of the song would be the bassline. Is that what you like?
JS Clone 1 - We have 1,300 posts between the two of us. That's crazy...LOL.
death cube k - Happy 500.
ollyno1uk - You're welcome. Let me know if you have any more questions...
crispin - Joe likes bootlegs...he collects his own. As long as you don't sell them, you should be okay.

...Austin...

Hi Joe! All good? I am Brazilian and I live in Rio De Janeiro. I was very happy in knowing that you it will come back here in April. Already I am inviting many people to go to the show. I was to the two shows that you made here. If it does not forget to play Rubina, Flying In A Blue Dream, Always With Me..., Tears In The Rain, Cryin, Love Thing, House Full of Bullets, Cool #9, The Extremist, The Crush Of Love, Starry Night, Mountain Song, The Journey, Slick.... If it will be able has taken a guitar that does not use more. I will go to ask for one to you, therefore they had stolen the only one that I could buy.

God bless you!

See you at Rio

After your pestering (j/k) i've gone to your site and downloaded, finally.

Blues Tribute Jam- I'm sure you're aware that the guitar isn't that easy to hear all the time (particularly when the drums are crashing away), but some nice ideas. I'm sure you were thinking of G3 jamming type solos. Some very nice work there.

Suspended Thought - a pretty good thought. Well recorded. I like the change in and out of 3/4. This is probably my favourite. I personally would have opted for richer harmony coming down after you go up a dminished chord. I mean, like at 53 seconds, but it sounds really good - it's just a matter of taste. I like this one.

Jazz Demo - I'd really try recording this a little more precisely, at some points the beat changes totally, or things slow down/up. I like the main theme a lot though. Also when recording you need to take a tad more care with levels to avoid nasty clipping. I do realise it's a demo though, not expecting the world from it. In summary : nice theme, could be superb when expanded on more, and recorded well.

Metal Demo - Nice and heavy. Would be great listened to from a moshpit. Again, expand on this to make something mindstormingly rocking.

Philaka Depends on why you bought a gripmaster - do you have weak hands/fingers? Do you struggle with bends? What are your expectations from buying one???

Crispin, so-called tape-traders are your best bet, but when you're starting out you often *have* to buy at least a couple of boots in order to be able to trade! I'm sure Joe'd be OK with that... but people making inordinate profits from boots should be avoided - I'd personally only expect to pay for the copying of the CD the printing of the sleeve (if there is one) and the postage. If the guy selling the boot on Ebay is in Turkey, he's a good guy. A little expensive, but his service is second to none and the quality, packaging, etc is excellent. Hope this helps you a little.

Philaka I have one in the car for those long same-gear journeys. Not sure if it helped, but it cetainly hasn't hindered (well, I don't *think* so.... LOL).

Later all... I got me a house full o' dawgs and a shedload of flat-packed boxes that need building so I can pack my crap (don't start that again guys!!! ROFL).... not to mention a physics course that I need to squeeze in somewhere.... looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking crack!!! (movie quote, Shirley I'm not serious, etc)

JOE: Here's to a great show tonight! I realize you may not have any way to read this today, but I wish you the best anyway!

The last time you came to Tucson, I had to play my guitar over the radio to get backstage..... Even though it was 11 or 12 years ago, I remember it very well. I was terrified! I never expected to be the one to be chosen from all of the other gifted players that were also on the air that night. I was partially relieved that the lesson didn't work out, 'cause at that point in my life I would've been way too nervous to play in front of you and would have been a complete basket case.

Thankyou SO much for sharing your gift with us. People like you are rare. It's refreshing to experience.

Gotta go..... See you tonight!

-Kell

Mowlie and Phrydom: I am not sure why I bought it. I have seen them for years but I never bought one... I guess I am hoping it will loosen up my hands to that point you get to after being warmed up. Got me... Maybe a mistake? What are they good for? One of you said bends...anything else? I have been playing with it for like 30 mins and my typing has gotten superfast! (No not really...I wish)

Zagori: Nice to see another Greek... Rock on and Zeto Hellas!

i've heard many people say they're pretty much useless (gripmaster type things) but possibly only cause they didn't sell them... i'd stay away from such things personally, when you might as well just do finger strength exercises on your guitar/bass/piano/whatever.
