Hey Gang... I just finished recording a little melody.... It's a bit of a tribute to Eddie... once you hear it, you'll know why (at least, I hope so) ... it's my favourite Van Halen tone that he produces...
give it a try...entitled "Ode To Edward"... http://barriepoole.iuma.com Oh and feel free to download any of my other tunes... please.
Hope I don't disappoint you diehard shredders out there...
Peace!

Here's part 7...
New Last Jam - This is another favorite. It's very catchy...I love the drumming. I don't really know what else to say about it, other than I think it's classic Satch. The whole thing rocks...there aren't any low points in this song. The solo is unbelievable, but my favorite part of the song is actually the part leading up to it, from 1:20-1:43.
Any comments?
...Austin...

for those who don't read the news, i've just finished making modifications to the T2J section here so it will load quicker than before. it's somewhat expotential depending on how many pages you have to read. ie, if you go to read ALL messages, it will be a *lot* faster now.
i also made it so hopping around a large number of pages is a bit nicer instead of it just spewing out 200 page links, you only see 20 at a time and can skip forward/backward another 20 by using the >> and <<

is doing the greatest guitarist ever issue. They are asking people to email them or postcard them about their 5 favs and why #1 is #1.
Well, there is only one guitarist right? Write in about Satch and get him in the magazine as #1. By July 12th.

Hi, Joe! I just wanted to say that I watched your show in Sofia and I really enjoyed it. And so did the rest of the Bulgarian audience, you can be sure of that! Your performance was highly praised on the media aswell, and I think it meant a lot to all your fans here, to whom you have been an example and an inspiration for many years. Me myself, I had great fun at the concert, only I was a little bit dissatisfied with the fact that the rest of those excellent musicians (i.e. the bass player, the drummer and the support guitarist) were somewhat in the shadow, and I think an interaction with you during the concert and some more solos on their side would have been nice, and would have made a great show. Thank you for finding time to visit our country, I think your fans here deserved it, and I hope you enjoyed your show here as much as we did.

I was wondering if JOE got some influence there from Steve while on tour??....But, it still has that unique "JOE" touch!!
"Oriental Melody" has got me mesmerised!!......."SBM" is great, and I'm getting ready to say it's better than "CP"!!!!....SOTD:

Hey Joe, I was reading some of the reviews from the first two concerts. I don't know if you plan on keeping the set list the same throughout the US tours as well but I'd really love it if you'd play Chords of Life for me. That is all I ask is for you to play that ONE song my man. Never the less the whole new cd kicks ass anyway so just jam out :) Keep rockin' buddy...........Adam
