Felix the cat? I think I heard of your cat before somewhere ;)

I had 3 cats until recently. had them since they were a few months old. I gave them away a few weeks ago.

Yoda - nice one bro.... sounds like you had a blast... lol...

did I ever tell you about my lil' potion... Red Witch...

drink the top out of a pint of 1664 and throw in a double pernod and black

it's a cure for not being stupid

ha... you are proving to be a fine apprentice... makes me feel so proud.. lmao..

962 - the harmonics are easy to find... they leap out at yer.... they scream too... but are never shrill...

a little like an Evo but with the top turned down a little..

the Breed is not a twangy pickup... it's almost as hot as an Evo but it has much more body and is not as cutting
I guess that's because they are all bass and mid...

something unusual though... they are quite sensitive to veloictiy like a AF PRO.. much more so than the Evo which makes everything sit at one level..
so the Breed actually starts to clean up a little when you pick gently.. and then produce a tone of gain when you dig in.. very versatile.. so it's not as single minded as the Evo.. but it's no light-weight either...

clean is not as 'plinky' as a PAF - nice for those metal arpeggiated intro's....
dirty riffs thump... great definition...
solo's are warm and smooth with just enough bite...

I really like it....

tastey - you are one lucky girlie... lol.... nice one...

I'm sooooooo envious...

guitarmeister - jeez... all these passes coming out of the woodwork..... jealous of you tooo.... lol..
steveT - yup... I have a left hand RG470 that is Jewel Blue... my mate Barry got it for me as a present... it's the only one I've ever seen [they're almost always black]...
it's an amazing colour.. depending upon the light it looks dark blue, cobalt blue, almost sky blue... and sometimes violet... it really is lovely....

I am new to this board, although I have been on this site several times in the past. I am a HUGE Satriani Fan! and I also play guitar. Anyone else out there like to 'play' his songs as well? If so, what songs do you like? Peace...

Jazzy: What? You never got a welcome? Well, here it goes..... Welcome to T2J!! You're NOT a flaming turd of a post whore!! Kidding of course.

962: So you're going to record your T2J2CD with the podII instead of the Legacy? For the price of the pod you could have bought an interface that would let you record the legacy silently direct to PC or mixer. It'll sound great regardless, it'd just be cool to hear the legacy.

Clarky: So when are you going to try the AirNorton (neck) AirZone (bridge) combo? No pressure haha!

It doesn't work....go here:

to find two links to some Lukather videos.

Steve T - this goes back awhile... My guit. instructor played with Greg once and noticed that Greg's amp was turned away from the audience. So he asked why. Greg response was :" I have to turned up to get the tone I want". He played LOUD.

good evening satchland from the cold white north called Canada. hope everyone is well. I am going ballistic with concerts that I will be attending. Steve Vai is playing in Toronto April 2nd so I think I might go although its 3 days after The Eagles are in Toronto which I am going to as well. I will be attending another Deep Purple concert this summer without Joe :( but with April Wine, Mountain and Tricky Woo. I am not familiar with mountain and tricky woo but meh they are on early so I just wont watch their sets.

Hey All.......WOW so many newbies here....very cool! Welcome one and all! This is a great place to be..... I got my ticket for Joe in Las Vegas at the HOB and I'm working on the rest of my travel plans. Who's going to that show? I don't recognize any names that are registered for that show.

Jamming now with SRV Live at Montreux 1985......"Mary had a Little Lamb" just love the way Stevie says " 'spress myself" He's the real deal.......

Michelle ans SteveeT: I guess I didn't word it right. I got screwed out of aftershow passes for Vai "because" I had the Flu and missed the deadline that was a month in advance. Last year it was 2 weeks if that. I'm happy to say I'm not sick and I hope I'm not for a very, very long time to come. ;))) hehe!!

Jazzy: Hi Jazzy! good luck with the tough week coming up. "Owning your own power" as Oprah says....hope that helps you to stay focused! If it's to be, it's up to me...... ;))) You can do it Jason.

Steven Wilde: Hi Steven!! How are you doing today? I had to go to the store today as well, after the gym and the dentist. I'm ready to go to sleep very soon. I hope you are feeling well. I just LOVE your poems/ lyrics that you've posted here. You are very talented and a gifted writer. Don't ever forget that!

962: I agree....there is no EVH in EJ......lots of the influences you mentioned. He was very good friends with SRV.....SRV is on Ah Via Musicom. Steves Boogie also on that CD is for Steve Morse, another of EJ's friends. EJ is such a nice guy. He surrounds himself with great people!

Guitarmeister: Congrats on the aftershow passes!! Is the 2nd pass spoken for? I'll be going to that show....hint, hint! I missed the deadline to register because I had the Flu. Bummer! I had won aftershow passes for Joe when I saw him in Sweden and I gave my 2nd pass to Tetova from the site here. If it is spoken for I'd still like to meet you and say hello! Hopefully I'll be shooting the show.....fingers crossed!

Tastey: Congrats on the aftershow passes!! You are such a lucky lady!! Have a great time at the show!! It's going to be amazing.....;))

Mari
