Great new site! Can't wait to hear some sounds from the new album... I miss the option on the homepage to go directly to this talk to joe section, the pull down menu on the old site was very handy... And I'd love to see an update of Joe's guitars, the overview in the vault is hoplessly outdated...

I also think the site would look better and be easier to read if the 'JS' was removed... just a suggestion though.... looks great overall...

Hi Joe

I am thrilled to see that G3 hits Copenhagen, Denmark in june. I´ve already bought the tickets. You visited Denmark in the year 2000 but not since, Why??? Your music really makes me happy and makes a big (positive) influence in my everyday life, so couldn´t you arrange another show in Denmark shortly??

Jon you rock man! I like the site... it's definetly a good change. Have a good time in Holland.

Joe - The new album cover looks great as well! It's real cool to hear that ZZ plays a part on the cd as well!

SupaaDave - I refuse to believe that the devil is Irish!! lol...

Cube.ca - Im looking forward to it! Stern's one of my favorites...

Tastey - ya I just ordered a best of thing of Steve Miller's stuff. I think he's a good songwriter.

Shogun - heh, thanks man! Gotta love a blue Ovation... I'll let you know when I get the Stern cd. And didn't Billy Sheehan talk about eating a Jack Russell Terrier in China on the Steve Vai dvd? lol, hope not :-\... lmao at the King of the Shiznit!!

Matt King - haha, I like that techno tune. Very spacey.

Alexandre - How's your father doing? Hope his recovery is coming along nicely. Take care bro...

Do the Stu - I think darkening the JS would work.... like it in the background personally.

SIX DEGREES OF DEEP PURPLE?

After noticing that their were two former members of Alcatrazz on the new G3 cd, I got to thinking that there was also another connection between all 3 artists. They have all played in or with members of Deep Purple. Joe toured with Purple. Vai was in Whitesnake with David Coverdale who is a former singer of DP and also was in Trazz with Graham Bonnet who was in Rainbow with Ritchie Blackmore of DP. Finally, Malmsteen who was a member of Trazz and worked with Joe Lynne Turner who was a singer in both DP and Rainbow. Deep Purple can be tied to just about any artist or band in rock music. Zeppelin? A few years ago Page worked with Coverdale. Sabbath? on the Born Again album Ian Gillan was the singer. They have too many connections to list them all. Van Halen? kinda obvious. Vai was in David Lee Roths solo band. Mettalica? Well, Robert Trujillo was in Ozzy who was in Sabbath who have had members of DP.

I could go on forever here, and I am sure anyone actually reading this will feel I have already. So the crux of my thesis is that within a few bands or band members EVERYBODY leads back to Deep Purple and you know why? Cause they rocked.

AustiNitsuA the job found me... well it was kinda forced on me lol... it's a very stress-free admin bullcrap kinda job that I would probably have been very proud of when I was 16. At least it gets me off benefits (welfare to you! lol) even if the money works out to be about the same! D'oh!!! btw the JS is practically invisible to me when it has text over it... maybe it's Mozilla, either way it's easy to read for me! ;-)

in response to popular demand, i've slightly faded the "JS" part of the background image. let me know if it's better for those of you who were having some problems reading over it.

to answer someone's elses question-- the image is a table background so it can't be "fixed" with text scrolling across it since it's the whole table that is scrolling.

sound samples typically show up around the release date. more news as that gets closer :}

Cool new site, Joe & webmaster!!! Not been around for a while (new job) so I'm catching up with everything that's going on. I found out today that 2 of my old tracks were used on the Extreme Sports cable TV channel over here in the UK at the end of 2003 and beginning of 2004- I only found out cos I was doing a search on google after someone told me that a guy with my name was baing sued in Pennsylvania! (Incidentally, it's not me!!!). Wohoo! Fame at last! (just wish I'd seen it...)

Ah well, I'm sure it'll be repeated at some point, and maybe someone saw it???

Anyway, quick visit, but therres a new track on my website for you all to have a listen to, called "Snow Angel". Click here to visit my site

Looking forward to "Is there love in Space"...

Later! Kev
