Airline Halts Plan For Lip-Shaped Urinals

marimariSRV - You can't buy tapes of past RNR HOF performances... I'm sure you can find a copy of just about any performance from fans on the internet if you know where to look, though.

weonlywonfiveone - I think Z.Z. is 11 or 12.
JS JS - Hmmm...I though it was required that you register with the Sony site (by giving them your email address) before you can order something from them. From what you've said, I guess that isn't true...so I don't know what's up.
Ethn Hayabusa - I haven't noticed any overdubs...can you mention a few specific spots during the Vai and Malmsteen portions?
The Prez - I like a few of Kiss songs. I have their Double Platinum album...most of the stuff there is pretty good.

They are SUCH a joke today though. Gene and Paul have destroyed the band.

There are no Satanic messages in Stairway To Heaven.

AFIAK, the only way to get an autographed cover is to buy ITLIS? online with a credit card.

trutina - ::sniffle:: What...? You don't love us? LOL...j/k. I don't blame ya...Miranda's pretty cool. ;-)

...Austin...

Clarky - Right. Where do i start. Well basically.....WHAT? I don't understand? root? V? Well i guess my knowledge is pretty dull. I checked up the net for some more info. I found that the German is:F#, Eb, C, Ab. Is that right?

Mikey Vai - Thanks again. What's Good Morning (in Japanese, before you try and be funny ;-p) Also, what makes you think i don't already have a girl.

marimariSRV - Your skywatch alert was really good but there is a slight ambiguity in it. You see not only will Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn be visible but they will be in an arc shape. On top of that the moon will start at Mercury as a crescent then make it's way up the planets and getting bigger. How awesome will this be? Go to nasa's homepage for more info.

Trutina - AAAAHHHHhh, sleeping with a woman. How amazing? And i find sleeping myself really great ;-p

mick87 - i've never touched one, so I couldn't really tell you, but from what others write, it's the feel that you have to try and get used to- it's a lot softer a touch than tapping on a bass/electric. once you're used to that and using right hand for chords/melody, the tuning's pretty locked into your brain...

artanis I - no, i haven't seen finding nemo! maybe that's why it's hard to get the name jellyman when signing up for stuff... very disgruntling... jellyman was my name in one form for about 2 years now... just trying to remember my older ones... i was "a local person" for a while... something before that too...

it was me who mentioned Jason Martin... probably not the guy next door to you, but still, might as well say - short hair, well built, plays drums well, likes prog rock and portnoy?

Austin-The synch seems of to me, but I only notice it on Vai and YJM's sets, Joe's is fine(aside from the flat bends in Mystical, but I'm sure that was because of monitor problems.)

The main part I noticed on Vai's set was when he was by himself "Improvising"(you know, like, the exact same notes he did at every show from that tour) the sweeping fit at the end is not synched up too well, methinks, so I suspected overdubs.

I have read some posts by others more informed about YJM than me, but according to them(bare in mind that they were actually YJM fans, unlike me) Yngwie has always done massive overdubs on live stuff.I noticed it only a little, mainly like when you can hear a divebomb, and his hands arent on the trem bar, or you hear a high note, when he is playing a low one.I honestly didn't pay much attention to YJM's set on the DVD or CD, because I think he blows.

Anyways, it would be funny to find out that all this stuff is just imaginations running wild, and there weren't overdubs.People claim that Vai did overdubs on the first G3 DVD, and I sure don't notice them, so whatever.

eta - you're right about the german 6th, except you'd have the Ab at the bottom (in the bass). That is the German 6th chord in the key of C. The next chord would normally be C major with a G at the bottom, or G major.

michelle did you check out the madness animation on the site as well? actually you all would enjoy that and theres a little something for you star wars buffs too there.
Master Yoda : i checked out your music a few mins ago my mom was wailing! Don't worry she does that all the time, i thought it is pretty good sound wise but mabye the timing and the overall accuracy should be buttoned up. Not that i can play as well as you. Just what i thought of it as a listener and not a guitar player which i really need to do some work.
Just to mention whats happened in dubai sometime ago in jan, the philips jazz fest came back to dubai again! Billy cobham played with 4 sticks amazingplayed my fav things and Red Baron ! Toufic Farroukh and his absolute orkestra Aboslutely Unique! heheh the great Toots Thielemans what a pleasure it was to see him play! such a nice man to see perform 81 yrs old and still touring! Tania Maria Jamie Davis n Hal singer with Bobby Durham unbelievable!! and yes has anyone heard of the Les Tambours Du Bronx??? i can't believe they came to dubai! its like Death Metal Drums in a primal hypnotic vein arranged in a semicircle filled with 17 maniacs banging on 21 oils drums with some electronic musique in the background! Who Needs Amplification???. Oh so Verry primal! the Jazz festival that was filled with people and their reserve almost like going to see a performance of tchaikovksy.......... and after 20 mins of futile resisting it completely brokedown into a frenzied mosh of 50yrs olds to 14 yr olds but with no real moshing it was just plain hypnotic with those guys picking up the drums and dropping it in rhythm with the other oil drums. i recommend them for any JazzDeathMetal festival. Had Osibisa too n Absolute Earth Wind n Fire ( tribute ).
i got to see a little string quartet by the name of Quador Ludwig which was a first classical string performance for me and it was great and funny too. The theatrics! where one of them takes off and the other 3 are wondering what the hell is going on stop playing look over at his sheet of music and go " OHHHHH" turn a few pages of their books and play along with him. Zakir Hussein came down here too but i missed him. i saw him a few years ago with larry coryell and Chaurasia.
I listened to the excerpts of the new satch album and i hope its better than SBM which i found a little monotonous on a few tracks.
hmmmmm SOTD i thunk for me would be a tie between RAdioHead's Karma Police & Madonna's Power of Goodbye. Enjoy them soo much!
And someone mentioned Arch Enemy a while ago..... theyre not my fav group i used to like them about 3 years ago but got sick of the never ending ear pounding. A recommendation may be In flames - Jester Script Transfigured. to those metal fans and anyone with a interest in some nice melodic metal.
Has anyone played The Sega Genesis Megadrive or mabye the super Nintendo of the 90's fame? Joe i remember you like some game that inspired Motorcycle Driver If you guys have enjoyed the music from those games like i Know Matt king does check out the remixes on this site just great! OcRemix
Sorry for the long post just hope that someone found it interesting.

Joeman9 - There are two ways of playing the first chord: the way it shows you in the book (with the big stretch) and a way that you dont have to stretch at all (you move one finger). Unfortunately this only applies to the first chord so the others you will have to play as they are written in the book you have. This is how the first chord is probably written in your book:

(All Palm Muted. The numbers in brackets are the fingerings)
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------5(1)-----------------5------------
------------8(3)------8-----------8-----8--------- etc, etc
-------9(4)--------------9----9-------------9-----
-----------------------------------------------------
--7(2)----------------------7----------------------

I do play it the way written above but you can do this:

(Again, all Palm Muted)
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
------------8(2)--9(4)--8------------8---9---8------ etc, etc
-------9(3)-----------------9-----9---------------9---
---------------------------------------------------------
--7(1)-------------------------7------------------------
Barred

Because it is all Palm Muted you get away with doing the second example.

I hope that helped in some way. If you still have probs then email me and we will work on it.

alexandrecaetano - Thanks bro.........

eta - can you do barre chords? if so, just play C major, then Ab7 (which is another way of writing the German 6th chord), then C major again, but also play the bottom E string on the third fret (that's all for one chord)... then G major, then back to C major.

Shoot! Looks like I can't get the autographed cd, I'm going to try to call them. My mom's so afraid of putting the card on the net, she doesn't trust it, so if it's not that way, it's nothing. i'm going to see if there is another way by calling Sony.
