Oh yeah, currently in the CD player is LISF disc 1, on pause for the last 2.5 hours or so because for some reason if I stop it, it won't start again until I'm blue in the face with bleeding knuckles from frustration. (Slight exaggeration...)
Michelle, car incidents are a natural part of living in a world full of psycho drivers. Just try not to kill anyone...(or total your parent's car)
PS look out for pedestrians!

ok has anyone else noticed that on STRANGE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC that the time doesn't add up.I did some math and came up with a phone number, nothing that has the same area code as Mr Satriani, or is it just an error on the editing part, I don't think joe would do that. has anyone else found this to be a little odd, let me know what you all find out.

hi Mr. JOE, this might sound crazy but ineed to ask you this... when are you going to make another album (i mean pure blues or jazz)? i have this album of yours "joe satriani" and it sounds so cool!!! i just hope you'll make another one that sounds just like that. or maybe a jazz!!! well, its your choice, you're the boss! right? but i think another blues and jazz will make a lot more different... just giving my opinion, hope you understand!!!! thanks!!!! your music really motivates me!!!! again thanks a lot!!!!! ciao!!!!

>Michelle, i'm happy you're OK
now I think we can drink this cup of champagne???
life just seems to be more fragile but also so precious!
where are my strange beautiful poetry of this new day?
but chhhhhhhhhhhhhh, lil' Joe is dreamin' about neverheard phrasing... just havin' a talk with his chrome boy, good dad'!
just One question Joe or Jon : in the archive board, is the "the new album title" contest always available for the next album or was it for SBM release?
anyway, if Joe could paint his music...
would he be Gaugain? Picasso? Van Gogh? or John Howe (the illustrator)?
would he be an impressionist? an hyperrealist? a figuratif?
a outher-space style?
what's your opinion brothers?

Ugh! The suspense is killing me. I'm staying up late waiting to see who the winners are for the 8/11 show. It's 1:21 right now and I'm still waiting for the names to show up...LOL.
For Adun - I'd go ahead and import a copy of SBM, as long as it isn't too expensive. Although now that I say that, 4 months from now I bet the Aussie version of SBM will have Slick on it...LOL.
michelle - Did I understand you correctly? You were in a line with about 8 cars and the idiot still almost hit you?
eebysubb - The album title thing was only for SBM. However, Joe has asked for title suggestions from us for the past few albums, so I'm sure he'll let us know when he wants us to give him more ideas.
...Austin...

Twice Yayo!!....You gotta be good to break up a three peat, and you couldn't ask for a better guy (gals ncluded) to break it up....lol :-)....BTW Austin....That must be part of JOE's alien sense that allow's him to do that ;-)....And good luck on the aftershow draw!!
Hey Quantum: I agree about the Kurt issue....He will be more remembered for his lyrical skills than anything else...I think the people who voted F'd up or just wanted to see his name up there....Sorry, but they didn't have anything positive to say or play in their music......BTW....Got SBM in every day as well as a newly bought "Mother Heads Family Reunion" (Kotzen)..My boy has got some talent there....I can almost sing like him...."A Woman & A Man" is simply beautiful......Can't play like him though....believe me, I'm practicing :-0
Go easy on ELPP guy's....He's been here a long time and is a bonifide friend!! He hooked me up with a great Satch gift that I will cherish!!....As you know, somethimes what you write online doesn't come out the way you mean :-}....Go with the flow....
Michelle: Thank God your O.K.!!!! It wasn't you time girl, and I'm sure you we're like "F-No, this guy aint gonna hit me!!!" I've had those situations before, and it just stops your heart!!! Please don't scare us anymore ;-)
As soon as I get a chance I will be checking out your stuff Colin...and your new stuff Pete :-)
Guitar's, Guitar's, Guitar's....They rule my life, besides my wife!! (and there's no other way I would have it!!) lol, did that rhyme?? ;-)
Peace all in SatchLand../\/\ike

Yoda - I got news from the custom shop... they won't be shipping my new girlie until 2nd of Sept.... so I won't have it for the tour...... totally gutted.... because I have no 2nd 7-string I can't risk going on stage with only one... I've had to drop tune two of my guitars to B so that I can play the set... There are a few problems with this...
All the lead parts are in different positions so I have to relearn a whoe bunch of solos...
I lose some of the really high notes so I've have to rewrite some of my solos to accomodate this..
50% of the set requires a 'sub-E' guitar so I have to change guitars throughout the gig and pretty often.
I now have a pair of guitars tuned at concert and a pair in B.. this means different string guages, truss rod settings, bridge / spring settings... which is such a pain in the butt. I also now have to take four guitars and I only intended to take two 7's...
The strings are floppy even though I've up-guaged to Ernie Ball [skinny top / heavy bottoms] which are a 10 / 11 guage hybrid.
And worst of all... I don't get to show off my new toy on stage..... waaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Richard: No Info on the jem site? Ibanez custom shop site? I still have a Yamaha rgx 211 in parts in my studio. Have been having to much fun with my new Jacson DXMG. I wish I could be more of a help to you, but fear i would give bad advice. Good luck with it. Maybe the Satch family will give a good word on the subject that will make all the difference.
Have my fingers crossed on the bone yard contest! Maybe I can have a private concert from Joe! They decide on my b-day. I will be listening. Joe:Thanks for taking all the suggestions we give and making any of them come true!
Question: If you could play YOUR Favorite song>>>>>What would that song be?

I can't believe that I have missed your tour Joe ... bad personal things have been happening recently... mostly in the area of work so I took my eye off the ball looking for tour dates...is there any chance of you coming back to the UK? Personally I'd travel anywhere in the UK to see you live (having seen you three times previously)...
Any ideas on how we can see you apart from flying to the US?
Desperate dude from Birmingham, UK
P.S. Just got your new album ... excited but nt had a chance to listen
