Does "Mountain Song" remind anyone else of STEVE MORSE?
I was wondering if JOE got some influence there from Steve while on tour??....But, it still has that unique "JOE" touch!!
"Oriental Melody" has got me mesmerised!!......."SBM" is great, and I'm getting ready to say it's better than "CP"!!!!....SOTD:

Hey Joe, I was reading some of the reviews from the first two concerts. I don't know if you plan on keeping the set list the same throughout the US tours as well but I'd really love it if you'd play Chords of Life for me. That is all I ask is for you to play that ONE song my man. Never the less the whole new cd kicks ass anyway so just jam out :) Keep rockin' buddy...........Adam

cool new site . Just wondered whether Joe would be up for contributing some of his wisdom to www.7string.co.uk ?
This is a non-profit educational site and the readers would be grateful indeed.

Hey Joe, what ya doin with that axe in your hand. Hey satch fans I was watching Tech TV's Screen
Savers last night and Leo Laporte mentioned Joe on TV! They were showing the different types of
shareware and when they were using WinMX, he searched for satriani stuff. After that that looked
up Metallica kind of as a joke. I was surprised when I found out that Leo knew that Satch taught
Kirk Hammett of Metallica. It was a rerun that was on a couple of weeks ago but I thought I would let
you all know. By the way Joe, it would be of great inlightenment if you were to play " Crazy" off Time
Machine when you go to Pittsburgh. Keep a rockin!!!

First things first. I would like to tell our illustrious webmaster that the new Talk To Joe on which we can edit our posts for spelling mistakes and what not after the fact is MONEY! Thanks a million, and thanks for making this page a little faster loading! I have a top-of-the-line computer now and even I was having trouble... :)
OMG, Joe Satriani!!! I just got up and decided to open the day with a listen to the "Oriental Melody" download. WOW!!! The ten-second preview did NOT do it justice! I mean, it starts out innocently enough, it almost has a Jesus Jones feel from the beginning of it, and I'm like, "Hmmm...unique, man, cool!" But halfway through, as soon as those Eastern sounding KEYBOARDS took over the melody I just about peed my pants!!! "What the... Holy... AAAAUUUGGHHH!!!!!! :)" An AMAZING piece of work there, man! Have you ever heard the Ozric Tentacles "Ashlandi Bol"? Amazing tune from the album "The Hidden Step", it employs a lot of the same keyboard tricks, I highly recommend it. Kudos on your great tune, Joe! That did it. I'm going out and pick up the album today...no more hesitation. If the rest of it sounds anything like that, I'm going to BLOW UP!!! Take care, all...a full review of Strange Beautiful Music is forthcoming!
To all...someone told me something interesting and I thought I might share it with you. Rachel, a fan of .click., one of the local bands' message boards that I frequent, recently came up to Baltimore all the way from Nerbraska to see this band. She acknowledged the fact that I was one of the most laid-back easy going people she had ever met from the boards, which totally surprised her because she said that she imagined me to be much different because sometimes I post on the board with the enthusiasm of an excited little kid! :) ??????? Do I really post like that? Maybe it's just my love for music manifesting itself in it's writing? You decide...

Michelle: I have seen many, many concerts. So many that I got tired of going.I haven't been to a large show in.....here it comes.....12 years....I saw Blue Oyster Cult a few months ago but it was a Biker rally & not too many people went so I don't really consider it to be a "Concert" you know what I mean...I stopped going because a Blockbuster went off right next to me & my girl.It was getting really bad in the 90's but Joe's fans aren't like that. They actually watch...lol...Yes,I do have the "Satch Tapes" which is totally awsome.I picked up L.I.S.F. Vhs & it broke windows.I am equally excited to see Dream Theater too.My seats aren't that great but I have a good pair of binoculars.I guess I'll get my chance to pee in the bathroom of a Joe Satriani concert!..lol...The cool thing is that my Roommate is in N.Y. for the fourth. When I moved here he had never heard "Raspberry Jam" or of Dream Theater. Now he loves it.What he doesn't know is I got a ticket for him too.Boy,he's in for a shock when he gets back..lol...Tickets were a little pricy but but worth every red cent:)$51.50 each.I am sooooo siked for this.I hope I win passes(hint, hint).I'd like to have Joe sign my Universe but my chances are pretty slim at best for that to happen.Anyhoo....yes,I am in for a super treat Michelle.O.K... you can have your snickers now..lol...Happy fourth of July Folks & remember...Joe loves you.....jblaze....A very happy jblaze:)
