To Pete Mulas, Phrygian Dominant, & Stu Not Boo thank you for listening & thank you for your comments. There's more to come in the next couple of weeks. Phrygian Dominant I checked out your site www.sharpfour.com, there's some pretty cool stuff there. I'd buy a disc but master card doesn't like me very much right now. That's all for now folks, have a great day T2Jer's Danny K p.s. check out http://dannyk.iuma.com

Help! I listen to too much of your music Joe! I love it, but I'm starting to sound like you. Not a bad thing....but I have to be me! My playing is really getting good, and my friends say.."...sounds like Joe Satriani dude!" I love the compliments...I guess it's that modal thing.....

Bonetrain --- I have the same problem - If u can call it a
problem?? - When i play I'm not trying to sound like Joe, or
play like Joe, I guess after hearing every Joe album 38 gazillion times it must be imbedded in m subconcous-
almost every little tune iv'e ever wrote sounds Joeish...

I usually get - what Vai album is that song off. Sometimes I take it as a compliment & sometimes it pisses me off because we just try to play with our own voice.

Joe. You rule! I was at the show you did with Dream Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland. Awesome show! I remember at one point in the concert I was dancing in place (rockin the head and all that), and I was the only one in my area dancing, and you pointed right at me with a nod of the head like you do. I don't know if it was directed at me, but I sure felt like we connected! By the way, you guys did a great extended version of Friends as the last song!

Hi to everyone who makes Joe's band tick! I am from Charlotte, NC and would dearly love to see Joe and his band live and in person! Do you think you guys will be anywhere near me on the east coast to do a show or tour stop in the next year? I love the music, keep up the good work! Thanks , and I hope to see you soon. Kirby

Joe, I'm sure you get this question all the time, but I have to know. Why don't you show up in Seattle on any of the other tours that have other people with you. You skipped us on the last G3 tour with John Pettrucci, and you skipped us on the tour with Dream Theater. Do we just smell? Or is it something more insidious?

DragonChild..........Lmao on Jerry Satriani
My first satch gig was G3 97 in sac with Robert Fripp, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Vai, Satch, & they had a special guest that joe pulled out of the crowd ( he was sitting right in front of me) to jam with. He was Mike Scott of the New Power generation (prince's guitar player). although have any of you heard prince play, he can tear it up. well anyways it was a good show & I have seen joe like 11 times since then to, so Joe RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys,
ovation : do they use the term sifu for Goju Ryu?... i know that it applies to kungfu because i'm a sifu myself in lau gar... i believe that jon alexander has written a book or two on the subject... speaks fluent japanese and passable chinese... and yes a real katana is heavy but a good one should be nicely balanced... mr alexander's was so well balanced it was almost effortless to use... i think it was about 200 or so years old too... do you still train?
D C K thanks bro... i never considered that my rig was that good... i'm still looking for a decent amp and effects board... what do you play?
cheers...
