The final webcast weekend is here! And I've been goofing off all day doing absolutely nothing productive, when I could've been watching the webcast... I guess I'll watch it later tonight.
JS Clone 1 - That stinks about the video... Well, at least you have some of the performance on tape.
PhrygianDominant - What I was saying was my opinion. Sorry if I made it sound like fact. I'll use more "I think"s and "In my opinion"s next time. ;-)

jblaze1 - Here are some of my favorites:
Say something famous and your name will be remembered forever. - Anonymous
The things that come to those who wait are usually the things left over by those that got there first. - Steven Tyler
And a few random one-liners:
The early bird catches the worm, but the second rat gets the cheese.
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
That's all for now.

tapper5 - I was impressed with the tone aswell. Both demos were played first of all my my old RG. It's a Jap, pre Vai with the hottest rear pickup i've heard.
For Metal Demo I played through a Tech21 Trademark 60, channel 2, low + high near max, max growl.
For Metal Demo2 I played through my recently aquired Galien Krueger Backline 100(watt) (which my late uncle willed to me). This thing has some of the thickest amp distortion i've heard.
Lead channel, bass 5, treble 8, mid 8, Input shape button (not sure whether it was in or out but it was the less muddy tone) and eq shift off. Last but not least, presence (basically when you adjust the presence dial, it emulates between solid state and tube distortion. This dial was at about 7 towards the solid state side.

Clarky: Are you playing at Jemfest U.K. this year?? If you are, you should hook up with Ricky Garcia as he'll be there this year (if you don't already know him)!! He's also an awesome player, and I think you guy's could make a killer trade-off instrumental!!
Peace, /\/\ike

Phrygian Dominant: I don't drink because I don't like booze, and I find it wrong as long as so many drunk people cause car accidents were others die. And, besides, some drunk people turn violent (maybe manifesting a hidden violent behaviour), some others turn unable to think of what they're saying and regret afterwards.
I think most people drink cos they have some reason, cos they need it, but still I think there are better ways to fix troubles. Drinking doesn't resolve troubles, it only makes everything worse.
That's what I think.

Hi there, a Satch fan from aus here.
Just wondering if you guys at the site ever thought (or have) of making some desktop wallpapers of Joe? - like some album covers in quality high res or some road pics, or whatever. That'd be cool.
Also, along the same sorta lines (i dunno how this sounds, I just thought it up) how about Joe making some little solo pieces that could be used as pc noises (eg startup theme, message alert, incoming mail). Just a .wav file a couple of seconds long...
There's some ideas from me.
Thanks a bunch
ps. is it just me, or does nobody like Up in the sky?
